Pasterfield Sports Complex

So much to do at this playground, to suit kids 4+ and anyone who likes riding a scooter/ bike. Easy parking and toilet facilities. Not a lot of shade and parts of the playground are regularly broken or vandalised.

Great place for all ages, took kids down for a play, one used the playground the other the skate board/scooter ramps and we had a BBQ at the free electric BBQs onsite and we could still see both of the children

Great playground for all ages. Has a toilet block and tables undercover also. Wish the play equipment was in the shade though!

My boys had heaps of fun today, with so many things to do, from riding bikes on the pump track, the skate park and heaps of pathways.the climbing equipment was a big favourite and to top it off a local game of AFL took there attention.all I all great afternoon of fun.

Went for my daughters afl game. Loved that the complex enjoys all codes.can't wait to see it when the final stage us complete. Got a little lost with the parking but if you were a regular it would be a breeze as it is central to the ovals

Excellent facility. The ground was not boggy. Good canteen. We got a win, so great day all round.

I absolutely love this place for exercise, bringing the kids to the playground, sports, bike track, skate park and the outdoor gym! There's something for everyone

We come here for the playground, which is quite good - large, modern, caters for a variety of ages, and keeps the kids entertained for hours. The biggest downside is there is no shade, anywhere, so every time we come you need to lather on the suncream. It can also be a hike from the carpark, but it's always easy to get a park.

Great park, multiple play areas makes it inclusive for all ages. We had children there ranging from age 4 to 11 and all kids had a blast.
My only criticism would be there are not enough bins and especially no bins at all near the eating areas.

Avoid 2.30pm onwards on week days or you’ll find the derelict kids from school their in groups defacing the playground area in groups.
Or, an underage child riding an unregistered bike through this location.

Nice complex. Has an oval, play equipment, exercise equipment, netball courts, skate bowl, bmx track.

So much equipment for all ages. Good facilities in general with toilets, bins, bbqs and lots of space. The bins could be placed in more convenient locations, I didn't see any water fountains (not sure if they have them) and there really needs to be a bit more shade over the play equipment. But otherwise really impressive little complex!

The best Sporting Fields/Playground Complex in Lake Macquarie. The AFL Club is extremely lucky to have such an amazing facility.

Lovely facilities that were spoilt by a dozen or so teenagers doing their best to destroy the beautiful play equipment and intimidate the young children hurrying to use them. Grrr!

Great facilities and multiple play areas. Some rubbish around. Needs more maintenance by the council.

This place has a lot of play equipment. It is especially focused on a lot of climbing activities. It also has a gym style weight section at the park. There is plenty to do for all ages. They have skate park, and lots of pathways to ride scooters, skateboards bikes etc. There is a couple of drawbacks for this park. There is no slides, and the toilet facilities were not clean and in order. Overall would recommend this park, but there definitely could be some
improvements made.

Something for everyone for all ages. Absolutely wonderful for little kids.
Had a great time there today with my little granddaughter.

Top spot for all the local sports and park area for younger kids to play in. Heaps of parking. No alcohol or glass on the oval! Excellent.
