Part Time Ceramics - Taren Point

I love the beautiful studio and the resident pooch, Moby! The teachers are amazing - Shiv and Trent in particular. I have taken several courses (and will be doing more) and am now a member of PT Ceramics. Could not recommend more highly!

Part Time Ceramics is hands down the most incredible pottery studio around! I have bought their clay kits and joined three different wheel throw classes, a Christmas decorations class and hosted a group event with both hand building and wheel throwing and honestly could not fault the place. Amazing, friendly staff (especially Shiv and Sarah) with easy to follow instructions as a beginner and such a beautiful space. If you want to give pottery a go then look no further for the most stunning and supportive studio there is!

I did a 4 week beginner wheel-throwing course at Part Time Ceramics back in November 2021, and later a hand-building course and I've been a member now for about a year. It's my absolute passion now to work with clay, and I enjoy it so much because I'm able to come to this beautiful studio each week. Shiv and her team are amazing. The studio is spacious, light and clean. The members are a supportive, kind bunch of people who are happy to share tips and knowledge. If you're keen on learning how to make with clay, give it a go!

The Pottery & Procecco class at Part Time Ceramics was an absolute delight. Sarah's expertise and guidance made the creative process enjoyable for all skill levels, while the addition of Prosecco added a great touch. The studio's cool and inviting surroundings provided the perfect backdrop. With high quality materials and a friendly atmosphere, this class offers a unique and memorable experience. I highly recommend Sarah's class to anyone seeking something different with a group of friends or even alone. It's a fantastic way to unwind and create interesting pottery pieces. My daughters absolutely loved the 2 hour wheel taster course, and the tutor was exceptional. Highly recommended.

I did a kids clay class with my 6 year old and it was brilliant! We were instructed one small step at a time and my child could do everything with minimal assistance. Excellent service and the atmosphere was lovely, would definitely book classes again

Such a wonderful space. Enthusiastic, easy going and engaging teachers that are super knowledgeable and genuinely love sharing their craft with you. I have done a few different courses and will absolutely come back for more.

Love this place. Have done a few courses at part time ceramics and really enjoy the relaxed and friendly way the classes are run. The teachers have the right balance of teaching you new skills but letting you create what you want and make mistakes along the way without judgement. Will keep coming back.
