Parramatta Park reviews
48Actually went here by mistake by getting lost, but looked lovely and will return again to check it out.
Last week I visited Parramatta Park, it was my first visit to this park. It’s such a huge park I had ever seen. Lots of shelters where families and friends can do a get together, parties and events. Nice place to walk, Jog or exercise.
The park features the old Governor house and surrounding monuments, cannons and the Parammata river. The park has plenty of space for picnics and with a dedicated bicycle lane It's great for exercise.
Soo beautiful park it is.
Vary colourful flowers.
At the same time its historical also.its good place for cycling n Walkers.and children's play aera also there
Parramatta Park is a must visit park as it got exceptional views and the Nature was beautiful with grasses not too long and a nice stream for you to see. Perfect place to enjoy and relax.
13min walk from Parra City Centre and you find this huge retreat of tranquility. Plenty historical relics to explore, refreshing cycling track along the river, abundant grassland for your pet to run wild and a huge paved square for your Tai Chi Quantity routines. Observe parking instructions to avoid a hefty fine.
This is a great local park. There is space to play soccer or other sports. There is a large playground for the kids. There is a lot a bike and walking path. Great place to see wildlife. At dusk there are large fruit bats flying around! Very cool to see!
Love this park for a run and always try and get here whenever I’m visiting Parramatta, close to most hotels and easy to get to and from
Nice park.my kids enjoy playing
Playing area is not the best but still my kids enjoyed their time
Very good for family and friend gathering
It is open until 6 pm
So many bats. They pass over my house in northmead at dusk every day. Now I realise they come from this park. Thousands of em! Asleep during the day. Fascinating creatures
Excellent place for the young and not so young alike. Kids have fun in the play zone and the health conscious can take a stroll in the various pathways.
Amazing park. Walking and biking paths. Plenty of parking. Park is new with grear activities for all ages and nice bathrooms.
Excellent park to spend quality time. Love going there for a walk, Jog, cycling, picnic, playing cricket or just to relax in the lap of Nature.
Absolutely love this park, well maintained, peaceful and tranquil, so many great events happening throughout the year, feeling very grateful its only a ten minute walk away, doesn't get any better than that. Pack a picnic and relax in the serene atmosphere, and enjoy the historic buildings.
Such an amazing place with a cycling track, wale tracks, bbq, sheds, a little creek, ducks, amazing kids playing area and much more. Must visit and a walk for all
Never book the bbq shelters in the park - the area wasn't cleaned when we arrived, the bins were full so we had to request a maintenance person and the parking were taken by track workers from transport nsw so our guests had to park outside the park (not a short walk back to the bbq shelter). The worst thing was some of the guest received parking fines from the ranger due to misdirection by some of the traffic controllers from transport nsw. Overall, absolutely terrible experience. I would give -5 stars if I could.
Very nice place to take a walk with the family you almost forget how busy the area is. Would be 5 stars if it wasn't for the mosquitoes
Beautiful Park in heart of Parramatta. Lots of places and seats. Just got impressed when I found its $500 to book a seats for one day with council. I believe its too expensive
Good green space within Parramatta. Facilities could be improved. No playground for kids. No toilets yet.
