Had an easy experience with Ron Cross purchasing my first investment property in Brisbane. My parents went to one of his seminars and he assisted in their investments in Victoria. Although the process went extremely quickly (I think the settlement happened within 2-3 months of discussing the property, maybe less) and I was still not 100% sure of the purchase, I can confidently say now that it was worth it. When we went to see the property, flights and accommodation were covered. Kelly up in QLD was very helpful, drove us to the property and showed us the unit (which is amazing, might I add).

Took around 2 months to find a tenant which was no problem. However, giving this company a 4 star instead of 5 as I was promised a monthly rental payment if tenants were not found anytime within 2 years (meaning the first 2 months without tenants were not repaid). Also I was not given a copy of the Contract of Sale for the unit in which I have signed prior to settlement. Other than that, great experience.

We went through Parktrent in 2015 and had a very negative experience once the contract was signed. To start with it all looks very attractive and promising, but down the process the interest and communication from Parktrent deteriorates. We had to bore a financial loss of $25,000 just because we went through them and then pulled back the property from Parktrent and did it on our own. The builder they chose was not ready to build the properties as the builder had taken way too many contract and couldn’t even complete the ones they started. The solicitor recommended by Parktrent was not efficient at all too and did not communicate anything at all. Ron Cross made many promises but didn’t fulfill any of them. It is better to do whole process by yourself than going through Parktrent as you would be paying premium price at every step and they don’t keep up to the promises they make. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go through Parktrent.

I was looking for an opportunity to buy a second investment property. When I came across ParkTrent Properties Group's seminar. I was keen to hear more about an opportunity in Brisbane so I organised a meeting at their office. Ron & his team treated us with lunch and also guided us through the entire transaction smoothly. I would recommend ParkTrent properties to young individuals and anyone trying to get there foot into the market.

Great iproperty nvestment seminar at Chatswood Golf Club on Tuesday. Brief (2 hours) but informative. No selling pressure. Free refreshments after. Worth going. We were quickly followed up with a free home consultation visit which was also enjoyable.

We have taken Ron’s advice and bought we bought two apartments, our very first investment with Park Trent in 1998,
Ron & the rest of the ParkTrent Staff did an amazing job.
Never have we thought this was going to make us a lot of money

Had a great talk with Ron cross and decided to move to the next step which was individual session. William gave a very interesting pitch which was "Too good to be true". We decided to go forward with the wollongong session and we were made to sign a form. We signed a proforma invoice as well. Next day we had something else planned so we didnot go to wollongong which is too far. They didnot want to refund the money on the proforma invoice even if I called william at 8: 15 am to cancel. Had a heated discussion with them at the middle of the work. And decided to cut any ties with park trent. It was dissapointing how pushing these sessions were.
Also guys it may look all flashy and a good deal at first look but please do your own research before going ahead. Brisbane properties were shown to me, I didnot have any idea about brisbane property market and hence it seemed great. It smells all fishy to me now. Thank god, I got out early.

I have been to a couple of the seminars now. I learn more each time and understand better about investments each time. You can't learn it all in one hour!

I have a couple of investments and properties, etc, and have learnt more in a few hours with this team than I have in many years of investing. I have also read many of the reviews here, my thoughts are this, if you take the word of one person and invest in that strategy then you are a braver person than me. I do my research, visit the properties I'm interested in and look around the area, talking to shop owners etc. That is why they dont sell you properties that night or even at the first appointment.

After a number of months researching the neighbourhood and market, I have taken the plunge and am buying my next investment through Park Trent. Investing is always a risk, so lessen your risk by research, research, research. Only invest in what is right for you. There are many opportunities and this team have spent a lot of time and patience with me. I even changed my mind on a few occasions as to which unit I wanted to purchase! I recommend them highly and I am a female investing on my own!
