PARKROYAL Darling Harbour, Sydney reviews
23 Very Mediocre for a 4 star. I paid extra for the club lounge however it was not what I expected.
Breakfast options were even smaller than a 1 star hotel and the food tasted like from a chef who has just learnt how to cook eggs.
Very disappointed!
Excellent and expensive choice in the heart of Sydney.
Every now and again it is great to indulge and no better than the Park Royal.
Really nice hotel service is great food also staff are really helpfull and friendly location is just on darling harbour were all bars restaurants and attractions are ar hand
We booked 2 nights here and as our flight were arriving here in Sydney early, we got into a cab and arrived here at the hotel like around 9am. We have lunch appointment buy hoping to get into the hotel room so we hang around at the lobby and rest our tired bodies.
Around 10.30am, a staff approached and asked if we are waiting to check in or check out. I replied waiting to check in and he said he will check and next was told a room was available for us. Amazing!
We can have a quick fresh up before we head out for lunch and that is nice!
Thanks for that!
P/s: a little input, the lifts need a little cleaning though and wifi is a bit slow
Location not ideal.not really near train station.every main attraction is at least 30 mins walk away. Asked for a box of tissue as the only one in the room had finished, the box of tissue didn’t arrive until i requested it the next day. Toilet only has rain shower, no detachable showhead.the room furnishing needs a refresh. No international plug, need to use adaptors. On day 2 of the room servicing, the towels are not changed, only arranged tidy, the towels were still wet. Wi-fi is poor. Not like a 4 star hotel. The daily breakfast is good, and the reception service are friendly and good.
About 10 minutes walk to the center. There are few restaurants around. No USB port. I borrowed an adapter from the front desk, but since there are only a few, it seems better to be careful about the charging environment. There is a bathtub. There is a fixed shower booth. There is a kettle pot. No microwave.
Excellent location and service. Really amazing quality, they also gave us an early check in!
Easy to chrome cast to the TV and a very pleasant stay!
Nothing to say: professional hotel ideally located to reach Sydney Bay on foot in 5 minutes.
Good location, average room, a bit dated with no leisure facilities such as sauna or spa. I checked out on 25 October around 8a.m and the service person didn’t even greet or look at me when I approached the counter. There is definitely room for improvement with customer service.
Central location in Darling Harbour but rather quiet and not too noisy. Very friendly staff. Room and bathroom are spacious. In general a good value.
Perfect location, very easy access to my work place and public transports. Attractive view. Good experience overall.
Good walk to Darling Harbor and also walk to the tram to Circular Quay to attend the opera or catch the ferries to Manly, the Zoo or Watsan Bay.
Good position for Darling harbour. Our room was drab and overlooked graffiti buildings. Didn't eat there so don't know what food is like. Generally a bit underwhelming
Stayed for a business meeting. Staff were attentative, accommodating and went out of their way to assist me. Thanks Park Royal. Your hotel employees are great.
Located near Darling Harbour this girl provided excellent customer service, great breakfast options, efficient valet service and good rooms.
Five minute walk to extensive China town eateries, or to Darling Harbour eateries. Light rail and ferries also close by.
Amazing hotel:) Simply, everything you need is at your fingertips. The staff is very friendly and professional. They are at your service 24 hours a day with a big smile on their lips. The location of the hotel is TOP. Everything is within a few minutes' walk.
The rooms are beautiful, spacious and very clean. The cleaning staff are very helpful, fast and detailed, so we really enjoyed our stay at the hotel.
The restaurant offers a very rich buffet and I don't think anyone can be disappointed.
They also have a happy hour offer that is very affordable.
Definitely a hotel that I would recommend for vacations, but also for conferences because they have wonderful meeting rooms.
A very nice experience.
Stayed only 2 nights (any longer and I would have moved hotels)
Room: outdated with bathtub shower.
Bed was uncomfortable with sloping sides so felt like you would roll out.
Only had 1 bathrobe for 2 guests.
Awful pump soap with no smell or lather
Shower took a few minutes to warm up (never turned on cold water tap)
Had the buffet breakfast and was dry and tasteless.
Parking was $65 a night! (I remember when parking in a hotel your staying at was free)
I've stayed at numerous hotels in Sydney and for the price this is sub standard
Stayed 3 nights and room was great.
We booked a club suite (recommended), this gives you access to a private lounge on the 9th floor.
Your drinks and side foods are available, coffee/tea, soft drinks, alcohol.
The lady that looks after the service in the club room is fantastic.
This hotel was real value for money in location and facilities. Better than some more expensive hotel options with bigger rooms and large bathroom. Very clean and quiet.
Stayed here because of the location. Perfect for Darling Harbour attractions. Beds were very comfortable. Great shower.lots of water pressure and a decent shower head. Staff were very helpful
