Palmers Lane Estate

Haven't been to the hunter in over 2 years and it was great to visit again with my family and 2yr old daughter in town. Great family spot, central to everything and good service.

Palmers Lane estate was without a doubt a 5 star experience. From the gorgeous, well equipped accommodation, to the beautiful scenery, but especially the amazing service. Guy goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is 10/10. The hospitality is second to none and by far the best I've encountered anywhere. It's all the little touches about Palmers Lane that impress. The cabins are clean, comfortable, and have so many homely touches that make them special. The views are lovely and everything is close by. Highly recommend for friends, families, or couples. It has everything you could ever want! Will be referring to everyone I know and hopefully coming back again one day.

A great rustic cabin located a good distance from all the wineries. Beautiful setting with friendly and responseive staff. Thoughtful welcome gift and plenty of local knowledge. Highly recommended for a get away with friends or family.

Had a great break for my wifes birthday.
Room was clean, nicely decorated and kitchen well appointed.
Great log fire in the room and fantasic fire pit outside near the pool.
Nice welcome sign on arrival and delicious complimentary cheese board and wine.
On our last morning woke up to see a family of kangaroos outside the windows.
Only fault is that the porch could do with a bit more lighting at night.
Guy made the booking very simple and was a great host.

We stayed in house 10, we had 10 people and it was perfect, having a full sized kitchen was a huge plus. 2 bathrooms also came in very handy. Fire was toasty and warm, outdoor seating was lovely for wine and cheese in the afternoons. Beds were very comfortable and extra warm blankets and quilts were great for a winter getaway. Will be back

Beautiful place for a weekend getaway! Rent the place with 7 friends and had an amazing weekend there.

We really enjoyed our stay! A very relaxing and peaceful place.

The owners are so nice and they helped a lot with recommending foods and other activities around the estate. Their puppies are cuteeeee.

We looked for a paradise within paradise and found it here. Deep inside the Hunters Valley, the Palmer's Lane Estate is a haven of peace and tranquility.

Large, amazingly well equipped bungalows with all mod cons are scattered around the grounds. Clever landscaping makes the distances between buildings feel even greater than they already are. Each bungalow feels that it is completely private. Surrounded by lush grasslands with plentiful trees to provide shade.

The bungalows are all large and have high quality kitchens and bathrooms. Beds are large and mattresses were just so comfy with their fluffy duvets and thick, white, newly ironed sheets.

The interior walls are logged and finished in a simple and with a classy white wash - whoever did the interior design were geniuses. The place feels very classy. Leather sofas and a fireplace in the massive lounge / dining area made that the centre our social life.

Outside, there are benches, a hammock, a large gas fueled BBQ and plenty of chairs.

Not much excitement here for people wanting any. It's not that kind of place. A secluded, shaded and well maintained pool and some tennis courts are available. Oh and you get Roos wandering around at certain times of day. (But. If you want to party with friends, Guy says he has a secluded unit where you can ramp up the volume to 11 and not disturb others.)

It's right in the heart of Hunter Valley so all the famous Cellar Door vineyards seemed to be 5-10 minutes away by car. In fact as few are walking distance. Getting a taxi is difficult but the owners, Guy and Sandra helped with that. They even drove us to one themselves when we could not find anything. They are such kind people.

Our group of 7 stayed there for 4 nights and we enjoyed every minute of it. I can't recommend it highly enough.

Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay. Visited wineries, attended a concert near by and enjoyed meals at some fabulous restaurants. Had a BBQ at our cabin the first night and enjoyed a swim in the lovely pool. The hosts were just so welcoming and super helpful. We will definitely stay here again when we visit the Hunter. 10/10
Ps Kangaroos hang about too and the kitchen in the cabin has a Nespresso machine.

Stayed here with a large group of friends and it was perfect! Plenty of activities to do on the property with a number of high quality wineries only a short drive away (we hired a bus for pretty cheap). Beautiful property and cabins, highly recommended, will definitely be back!

Guy and Sandra were wonderful hosts and great at helping us organise tastings in the area. (Even with an ill baby). The lodges are beautiful and feel pretty secluded.

Had a great weekend. Fantastic spot with great amenities including an outdoor pool, fire pit and large cabins for groups trips.

WARNING! Beware. Guy is a crook. Very rude and threatening attitude. I booked on Airbnb and then was told I need to SMS a photo of my drivers license and pay a $500 deposit on my credit card. This was not explained in the ad and Airbnb has all my personal details anyway. I had only booked 3hrs earlier so I asked for a refund. Guy told me he is keeping my money and I can’t do a thing about it. No way I was going to stay here so I booked elsewhere. He ripped me off $410. Plenty of places to stay in the Hunter. Give Guy’s place a miss.

What a beautiful spot this is. Great location as it is close to everything going on in town but also secluded enough to be on your own in nature.
The staff are lovely, friendly and helpful. They gave us a two gifts when we checked in and thanked us for choosing to stay with them, such a nice touch.
Will definitely stay again!

Incredible experience with the team at Palmers Lane! Cabin was equipped with everything you could need for a perfect weekend! Beds were super comfy and the whole cabin was designed for such a relaxing environment. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Even before we arrived we had great communication from Guy! Once we arrived, check in was smooth and easy. With the addition of Frankie and Denzel (the cutest dogs) to welcome us, we also gifted a cheeseboard, bottle of wine and our own Cheeseboard plater to take home! They have plenty of card games and outdoor games to borrow too!

The log cabins are beautifully decorated and have every amenity needed, included coffee machine! The beds are also so comfy and cosy.

Myself and four friends would recommend Palmers Lane Estate to everyone planning on going to the Hunter Valley Region!

Palmers Lane was a breath of fresh air and an ideal getaway from my wife and I. The cabins were spotless, new and thoughtfully decorated including freshly cut firewood and separate kindling. The location was within walking distance to several wineries and a restaurant, and yet close to, by car, all that the Hunter Valley has to offer. The BEST part was the service. It was OUTSTANDING. I do recommend this place.
