Paddy's Market Haymarket reviews
61Interesting complex. The first level is paddy's market-bunches of stalls selling mostly tourist stuff like boomerangs, t shirts and cell phones. Upstairs is like a regular mall with all the major stores and restaurants.
Actually Paddy's Markets now called Paddy's. It's a great places to do the shopping. And one Asian supermarket to shop and plenty of places to eat and enjoy too. Downstair have a fish market and lots of stalls selling fruits and vegetables with good values. And on the left hand corner have a small bar and some pokies to relax and enjoyment. And you can catch trains like Town Hall and Central to get there. And across the road is Old Chinatown to sightings. And outside the Paddy's you can catch tram to casino. Cheers!
I was expecting lots of quaint stalls in a market backdrop but it was full of modern shops inside an old facade, but bargains still to be had.
If looking buying a souvenier. This is the place. No need to go other place. Price is cheaper.
Clothing, food and phone goods, lots of empty or closed stalls. Lost the spark of the old Paddy's but good for today's market.
Excellent shopping center and the market full of choices best place to buy luggage and clothes at a bargain
Good shopping here fruit and veg is excellent
The IGA upstairs is a very good Asian grocery
Fresh products are not fresh anymore. Good memory that i used to wait till last minuits for fresh best bargain on Sunday evening.
If we need to buy in bulk before traveling to see our friends & family, good place to visit here - as we can see many varieties of items in one place.
Great space, haven't tried the food but it all looks fresh.they have a decent variety of stores, some have the same items, so there's an opportunity to do some bargain hunting.when ive been with my friends, they have bought plushies, jumpers, belts and sunglasses.it's all at a reasonable price.
A wide selection of cheap goods available here, as well as fruit and vegetables. If you want some low cost souvenirs or electronic goods, this is a good place.
I used to come here for years for fruit and veg but have been doing my weekly grocery/produce shop at Broadway for convenience. But having shopped at paddys again, I found it was significantly cheaper so I may come back regularly now. The best for Asian veges.
Good prices and fresh produce available.
Better to carry cash here as not all vendors accept cards and you can get better deals in cash.
Visited on 14/1/22. Most stalls were either still on holidays or closed. But still have plenty of bargains to be had
Great fruit and vegetables market, plenty of stock, very low prices for items in season. Staff are friendly, great atmosphere. Short walk from Central and Town Hall train stations and bus stop, also can get here by light rail.
Very modern market filled with vegetables, fruits, housed and electronic item with excellent customer services.
On sale! Very cheap and affordable!
Also the staff was outstanding, if your looking for Van's then come down here
Rows and rows and rows of market stalls offering everything from souvenir t-shirts to fruit and veggies to phone covers to onsies. Too bad it doesn't open later - even if just one night a week - like the best markets in Asia.
Awesome markets in Chinatown. Also has a shopping centre above it. Lots of stalls and food. Fresh produce, jewellery etc. Parking is expensive though.
