7Paddington Uniting Church is a Venue-For-Hire. Formally called 'Eastside Music Cafe', it is now called "Eastside Arts". (Though this is in name only.) P. U. C.has 2 venues, a Church and a Hall, both of which are suitable for most types of events; from musical concerts, rehearsal space, lectures, fundraisers, weddings etc. As a 'venue-for-hire' the logistics of putting on the event is done by the Promoter or Hire
It's a VERY small Sunday service, with the congregation sitting in a circle and taking turns reading from the liturgy. No singing of hymns today (there seems to be a schedule of which Sunday there will be singing). There was a sermon of sorts. They congregation is very welcoming and warm.
If one is used to a traditional church with hymns and music and a sermon by a priest in the pulpit, this will be.different. My best takeaway from the experience is to cherish the traditional church-going experience while you can, because it is disappearing.
Beautiful jacaranda around the street and church, its attractive and long-lasting violet-colored flowers.
If you are a progressive Christian, this parish could serve you well!
There is room for all people, people of different faiths, different sexualities, different economic status.
Whilst no Parish is perfect & Parish is for everyone, when im at this church i can see I can feel God's love!

After all, only god can judge us, we should never cast ANY stones.
The markets are amazing, local designed and made, one of the only places one can get unique gifts. Also a lot of celeb spotting, it is the place to be seen on Saturdays.
