Pacific Flight Services reviews
15 I was given the 737 simulator voucher as a birthday present and had no expectation thought it's just another "bigger" PC simulator!
First impression, my young instructor has tremendous knowledge of the craft and flying experience, at least to a layman like me. Jason patiently went through the history of 737 and procedures given me a choice of 2 flights - easy and challenging.
I was impressed at the details generated by the computer graphics, and indeed how difficulty it was to maintain control of the airplane landing. All said, I had a fun time and with the assistance from Jason, did not crash:)
Thank you to Jason's helpful attitude and enthusiasm I had a very good time.
I had a look around different flight schools in Bankstown to do a CPL course before deciding to do a TIF at PFS and eventually join their CPL course, while other school are bigger and look fancier they just seem to regard you as just another number to push through, Pacific treats me like part of the family and genuinely care about my progress.
The class sizes are smaller so you receive a lot more help during theory lessons and the instructors are happy to go over concepts 3 or 4 times to make sure you understand and are approachable at any time to answer questions. Even all the other students are willing to help and share resources they have made to help you succeed.
As a student from Overseas myself the social events PFS would host helped me integrate into life in Sydney and made me feel welcomed. (BBQ days and social nights out) I would highly recommend this school to someone interested in a career in aviation.
Amazing flight school! Well organized and all the instructors are professionally trained. They work closely with students and are very supportive and super friendly.
Got my RPL license in less than 3 weeks at this school.
Highly recommend!
Great college, structured courses, awesome instructors and a really good culture. Really enjoyed my training, if you stay on top of your studies and put in the effort hard work always pays off!
Highly recommend!
Strongly recommended. Professional and friendly instructors. I've flown over 120 hours with PFS and I am quite satisfied with my experience learning flying here.
Professional and friendly instructors. I've flown over 200 hours with PFS and I am quite satisfied with my experience learning flying here.
0 stars deserved! Horrible atmosphere here with run down aircraft. Green instructors who really just don’t care about your progression not to mention the obvious efforts they go to-to undermine student pilots, thinking that people can’t see through their hidden agendas.
Avoid Pacific Flight Services for VET Training, there are better flight schools than this place!
Please be careful with this school is not good at all. Their trained pilots having hard time to get a job
Completed RPL, PPL and CPL here. Amazing people. They cater to u as an individual instead of a pilot factory. Really love the cozy office and study area. Will be getting further ratings and endorsement with them in the near future.
Doing some flight training here and don’t have a bad word to say about the team. The aircraft are always maintained and the staff are knowledgeable, approachable and generous with their time. Their fleet are primarily Single engine Piper aircraft which despite their age fly surprisingly well and really reinforce fundamental stick and rudder flight skills, Exactly what’s needed in the first few hundred hours of flight training.
After interviewing several schools in the YSBK proximity I decided on Pacific and I’m glad I did.
Looking forward to building my hours and racking up the endorsements with Pacific.
Strongly recommended. Professional and friendly instructors. I've flown over 30 hours with PFS and I am quite satisfied with my experience learning flying here.
Having moved from a much larger training organisation that often tended to feel more like a pilot factory than a pilot school, PFS has been an enormous breath of fresh air.
Every one (and I mean every one) of the staff is friendly, the instructors are professional, and the aircraft are well maintained. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to begin or continue their flight training at a new school.
Friendly professional atmosphere with good facilities and a serious approach to flight training. Bankstown with its ATC and 3 runways is a great place to learn and an excellent gateway to NSW. Spectacular vistas and challenging flights. Excellent.
I did my first introduction flight a couple of days ago, Leanne (my instructor) was very friendly and professional. I would highly recommend her as an instructor. Great service in General, the place is a very small building full of passionate pilots, feels like home after you spend a couple of hours there, very chilled environment. Time to book my next flight I guess.
So glad we chose PFS to introduce our 16 yo son to flying. Ryan was the perfect instructor. Great day, great view.and far more time at the controls than he expected.
