Choosing Will Burgess and the team at P Johnson for my wedding outfit was one of the best decisions I made in the lead up to the big day. I first came across P Johnson, who were hyped to be one of the best tailors in Sydney, while browsing the internet for wedding tuxedo’s. I live away from Sydney but eventually made the trip down for an appointment inside the beautiful Paddington showroom. From the moment I stepped foot inside, I was made to feel at home, and the whole process of having my outfit made and fitted by Will and his team was so much fun and seamless, and accomodating to my travel schedule. Will is highly attentive, thorough, and patient, and was willing to provide his expert opinion without deviating from the vision I had for the outfit. I absolutely loved my tuxedo; it fit perfectly, was super stylish and comfortable. Thank you for everything, and wishing the whole team the best!

Recently had another suit and linen jacket made by PJT (my first tailored suit by them is still going strong after ten years of regular wear).

The service and product at PJohnson continues to be outstanding. Marc Hatherley made the whole process a wonderful experience, and when there was a slight hiccup he solved the issue immediately.

Yes, the bespoke suits cost more than buying off the rack - but their suits seem to last 2-3 times longer. And the amount of comments I get when I'm wearing their product only confirms the extra cost is worth it)

Purchased some off the rack pants fro PJ Femme Paddington a few months ago and love them so much I wear them almost daily. Had to take the pants in for a minor repair but the pants have worn so well considering I wear them so much. Sophie was very helpful with assisting my repair and reaching out as soon as they were ready. Also visited the Chifley store where Tom assisted me and my partner having a browse. Tom was very helpful and knowledgeable with fabrics and what they can offer but also very down to earth, can't wait to get a full suit one day!

Great vibe and store. Great selection of fabrics and colours. Cost is definitely on the pricier side of tailoring. But you get what you pay for and they alter your suit until it is perfect for you to take home! I lost a bit of weight during fittings and alterations were no problem. Looking to go back to get a few more pants made.

Marc was awesome to work with in designing a suit. Genuinely nice guy, listened to what I was trying to achieve, and gave direction when tossing up between thousands of options.

I got my wedding suit tailored at P Johnson and I couldn’t be happier with my experience from start till finish, and the finished product was better than I could have imagined.
A special mention to the tailor who looked after me, Will. From the get go he made me feel relaxed and confident about everything. His knowledge, experience and passion for what he does really showed in the finished product.

What a lovely experience! Cannot speak more highly of Marc who has been exceptionally professional in guiding us through the fabric options and tailoring style. Would definitely return for future tailoring needs.

Got my wedding suit here. Measured at the Paddington store and first alterations at the Chiefly store Started the process in January and finished days before the wedding. A bit tight at the end. I called them over ten times before someone picked up to follow up on its whereabouts. I think it's because when you tell them the wedding date, they try to avoid doing any further alterations by delaying it or keeping it in hold.

Would like to say a big thank you to Tom, not only for his keen eye and knowledge on the fabrics, design and fit, but for also making me feel very comfortable. This was my first ever custom suit and I was uncertain about the whole process, but Tom made it very easy and I am looking forward to coming back again soon!

I can't speak highly enough of Porter. From the first interaction I trusted him as he went above and beyond to suit my needs, assisting me in the right fabric, look and style. Overall making the process smooth but thorough, timely and professional.

Porter also treated me with respect and speed in communication no different to any other. Thanks for exceeding the expectations, the suit turned out cracker even through these tough times with no contact measurements.

Started with my wedding suit. Have been back for 3 other work outfits and a shirt here and there. Great retail experience.

Supposed to be a custom fit shirt, but they obviously took something off the rack and just adjusted the sleeves.

I am typically an easy customer to satisfy but I felt compelled to leave feedback after my experience purchasing the P Johnson Carrara suit (their top line)

I decided to make this purchase to give P Johnson a go at being my go to tailor.

Ill start by saying that the suit (once it finally got fixed) felt well made but the customer service was poor and below expectations particularly for what you might expect in premium category.

After my initial fitting, the suit came back too large and pants were clearly too wide. I thought ok fine, it was the first session after all.

Then I attended a 2nd fitting with tailor Alex at the Paddington store. He quite blasé and non attentive in his approach and failed to identify where the suit needed alternations to fit me properly (one minor alteration made but needed more). I felt disatisfied enough with the service at Paddington that I decided to transfer the suit to the Chiefly store based on gut feel. To be honest at this point I was fearful that I had made the wrong decision to go with P Johnson.

When I came to pick the suit up, it was quite clear that it needed more work to fit properly. So this became the 3rd fitting and the arms and pants were altered to fit (thank you finally). If I had not double checked and followed my gut, I would have been allowed to leave with a suit that did not fit right. That said, after this session I was satisfied with the way the suit fit.

If you value the "customer experience" of buying a premium suit it may be wise to consider your alternative options until management/ the brand is able to provide a more consistent experience. Good quality suit but a shame that the buying experience was not able to keep up. A bit of a rollercoaster ride and hard to recommend at this point.

I got two pairs of chinos made up by Alex who provided me with a welcoming and professional experience. If you are looking for a suit, chinos or fashion advice Alex is the guy to see.

Good service. Helpful, young and energetic. Passionate about fashion and a beautiful space to spend time in. Loyal to this brand!

This was our first experience at P. Johnson. We booked a fitting to get my boyfriend a sports jacket for his birthday.

The initial fitting appointment was an experience to remember! Jesse Gum and Loki Patterson made the hour a fun and exciting one. Jesse walked us through every step of the selection process, from choosing the style, the material all the way down to choosing the buttons. Loki took measurements and was meticulous, double checking every measurement. He was also super informative about how things on the jacket should look and feel.

My advice from here is, once you find a P. Johnson staff member who you like and trust, (for us this could have been Loki or Jesse). Stick with them, and ensure that your follow up appointments are with that staff member, if you can.

I say this as we were very disappointed for about a month, with a different staff member, who seemed to care very little. We really were unhappy during this period.

However, once we reengaged Loki, our experience close to changed our jacket tailoring lives!
He is so careful, professional and has all the time in the world for his clients. He went above and beyond to help us.
He understood what we were looking for and suggested alterations and changes which fitted exactly the look we were going for. Loki followed the jacket through to the finish and it looks absolutely sensational!

The P. Johnson stores clearly do a wonderful job at ensuring that they offer the best products and provide the best facilities for their clients to have every opportunity to walk out having had a premium tailoring experience. However, ours was made almost entirely by Loki and his professionalism.
As long as he is there I’ll be recommending the store to everyone!

Pj tailors causal no B/S approach to tailored suits. Will be using these guys for years to come.
