Quickly took a deposit for a fixed price contract, then after many delays, attempted to add extras. Had to take them to the Tribunal to retrieve money. Used a local builder without any dramas. Beware sly salesmen that have absolutely no building knowledge or background.

P. J. Cook were fantastic. Great tradesmen and very friendly. Nothing was a problem to them. Would highly recommend them to anyone who wants to build a granny flat. Did a great job under trying weather conditions (rain)

Although it wasn't a good time to build due to pandemic lock downs, building product shortages and weather, but they kept on track as much as possible and finished close to time. The granny flat solved our problem of a growing family and also is a really good investment down the track.

I am so very happy with my Granny Flat built by PJ Cook in Woodberry. The whole team onsite were courteous and professional at all times. The quality of my build is impressive. It took me over a year of looking at other builders before settling with PJ Cook. The only disappointment is that the slide out range hood was unobtainable, so I settled for a fixed one. Once the project got started, it was very quick to completion, especially over the Covid19 period. There were a few hurdles along the way, which had nothing to do with PJ Cook but Peter made this much easier to deal with and we are very appreciative to him.

We recently completed a granny flat in Ettalong with PJ Cook. We looked at so many designs but PJ Cook's were liveable, practical spaces. We're very happy with the finish, to say it 's a granny flat is selling it short. Peter and his team were always contactable and responded to emails promptly. We've just found a tenant in less than 2 weeks at more than we expected. All those who viewed the place were amazed at all the inclusions and thought the raked ceiling gave the place a huge sense of space. It's been a great investment. Thanks Peter

I signed a contract for a granny flat with PJ Cook mid March last year. I supplied them with a detailed, to scale drawing of the granny flat, it took them four and a half months to produce a set of plans, Their draftsman seemed unable to reproduce my drawing without making errors, he even got the windows wrong after I had sent him a schedule with the code numbers of the windows required. Things didn't improve much after that and at the end of eleven months I decided I no longer had any faith in them and decided to build with another builder, even it it meant I would loose the almost $9000 I had paid them. They then said that the design belongs to them, even though I supplied it, and that they will sue me if I use the design with another builder. Any complaints I made to them where met with contempt and no apologies for their poor performance were received.

Even when you do everything he asks still makes an excuse not to pay his trades have spoken to at least 5 other trades all the same thing
