I've been over the moon with their customer service. Lovely people to deal with, would definitely revisit for more glasses.

Got my last two pairs from the Chatswood store. Optometrist and counter staff all consistently attentive and courteous. They even fixed my glasses which got bent out of shape from very rough handling I highly recommend this store.

Unprofessional staff and advice, didn’t feel comfortable with the way they communicate with you. Will not go back there again.

The optometrist is quite good and very professional in his specialty. I was very impressed from his service and decided to go ahead purchasing/ordering two pairs of new lenses in premium option. The cashier lady I met was another story. After I came back and asked to pay extra for further feather I wanted to add on my new glasses (in which they said it will take two weeks to produce), this lady was not helpful and talked in such badly unprofessional manner. I almost wanted to say I want to cancel all my orders due to her behavior. I really hope I would not see her treating customers on such a poor mannerism ever again. Really disappointing after being loyal customers for a few years already.

Pretty great. Good service and incredibly fast. Having worn glasses since a teen, I’ve never been able to walk in to a store, order glasses and then have them in my hand an hour later. Thanks. I’ll definitely be back.

I have been getting new pair of glasses each year for many years from Owndays and the quality of their glasses and (single vision) lens have been great. However.not this time.

This year I have been recommended to go for multi-focal lens which costs extra $400 (that's after health insurance rebate).

The distance vision (through upper part of the lens) has NO improvement from my last year's glasses, although the staff claimed they were made with 1 step stronger from last year's prescription. The near vision (through lower part of the lens) offers only very little improvement. So effectively I have paid $400 for a similar prescription from last year.

It's very clear to me the quality of the lenses is not to the standard or have been made to the spec. According to their policy, they will not offer refund. The staff did offer to make another appointment with their optometrist to investigate but my view is the eye test and production of the lenses should have been done correctly and quality checked in the first place. If these things can't be done right ONCE it's time for me to look elsewhere.

I have been visiting optometrists almost all my life. The experience I had when visited this shop was the worst!

I agree with some people who said customer service at this shop is very poor. Sadly I could only see the cashier who served me as the only person in the shop with decent manner. The others were so unprofessional, at the time I made a payment, I could hear the other cashier made a personal phone call out loud in different language which unfortunately I could understand.

But worst attitude was the optometrist at that time. He was very arrogant and unhelpful when asked about my eye test. Although I understand some optometrists charge fees for contact lenses trials, however I also understand they will advise approximate power of contact lenses from the eye test. It is up to client to go ahead committing to the contact lenses trials because as I mentioned the advise is only approximate.
Well, I was being told numerous time by him, he couldn’t advise me with contact lens related power.
That I needed to pay for the contact lens test which he didn’t have time on that day.
I found it very funny because the shop doesn’t even carry the brand of contact lenses I wear for over decade and I didn’t intend to change. I didn’t see any point to commit and pay for the trials. He was simply unhelpful and didn’t care. It was very awkward during examinations and discussions about my eye test results because he was really stingy with his words. Again simply unhelpful and rude.

That day, I was planning to purchase a new pair of glasses from this shop, I even already chose the frame, however I was really turned off by this optometrist attitude that I cancelled it.
It was completely waste of my time.

I urge you people, avoid this place.

Extremely disappointed and shamed of this shop! I should read the reviews first before bought $1000 there for 3 glasses! Very misleading information, long waiting for more than 1 month for the glasses! The worst Optometrist there, all work part time, hard to ask questions, even refer the wrong pharmacy, wasted a lot of time! Firstly, spent 4 hours first day for eye test and wait for price calculations! Then refer us to the wrong pharmacy, need to spent 2 days to get it! Then need to wait for another month to get the glasses! They didn’t sell OK lend and Miyosmart glasses, then we need to spend time to see another Optometrist and buy Orthok glasses! So regret to visited this shop and wasted $1000 here! Scammer! There should be 0 point for this scammer shop! Never recommend this shop to anyone!

I asked the staff to do a quote for a pair of sunglasses. I was quite happy with the sunglasses but decided to give them some thoughts, so I walked off to another shop. While attempting to quote at the other shop 30 mins later, my private health fund rejected the quote.

It turned out the staff at Owndays claimed $150 from my insurance when I asked for a quote. I called them up and the reply I got was “well you said you’re happy with them and then you disappeared. We called you but you didn’t pick up. ”

Yes, I was happy with them but I did not say I’ll take them, let alone consenting to a claim from my insurance. Being happy with a product does not equate to an actual business transaction. Yes, they did call me once but they didn’t leave a message when I missed the call or attempt to contact me further.

I was unable to claim from insurance on the same day after the refund because it takes around 24 hrs to process. This should not be the way to do business.

The worst service u can ever get. Extremely disappointed. Very misleading pricing and information. Worst staff attitude you can ever expect from! Name and shame and never recommend this shop to anyone!

Broke my glasses and needed one urgently, Emily really went out of her way to help me find the right lens and coordinated with the city store to hold them for me. Came home with a new pair of glasses. Pretty amazing.

I needed to agree to a reviewer for this store named Sasami M. She made a review 2yrs ago as of this writing. I had my glasses (2 pairs) from this store and both of them are blurry. My eyes need to adjust significantly. They told me glasses in Australia is never clear throughout all its dimensions, meaning the sides are really blurry. I thought it was a short period of adjustment but i could not cope. The lense was really off and each time i needed to focus on something after i move my head around, my eyes need at least 2 seconds to adjust. Every single time. I will go to Specsaver maybe next year because spending $300-$500 is no joke. I also need to plan my finances as i am not rich.

Extremely disappointed at the service and quality of work. I dropped my glasses off today and asked to change lenses but keep the frame. Bear in mind I have the frame for a couple of years and never have a problem changing the lenses. They bursted my frame open and said it was my glasses issue that I just had to deal with and they couldn’t do anything. So my frame consists of three layers of metal. The layers split at the bottom of the glasses.
They said it would only take 20mins and i ended up waiting for 2 hours.
It’s frustrating that it not only broke my frame and couldn’t fix it but their obnoxious attitudes.
Would not go back again and won’t recommend to anyone I know.

I do not know how peoples said that they recommended this owndays at Chatswood for good service.
I went there to buy the frame asking for the price. They refuse to give me the price.and they service so horrible.
They trying to get you eyes test with them, even i told her, use my prescription in my current Glasess.
They are refused and she is very rude.
Walk away that my best solution.
Optometrist not only them.

Really bad Service in Chatwood Store. The staffs are unprofessional with bad-temper. I traveled far away to buy a frame, but they said I have to give them the prescription or do another eye test, and let me to go around Chatwood to find another store to do the eye test. And the attitude for them to explain this issue is also really unacceptable and rude. Will never come here again.
