Food was faultless. Service was sensational. Great selection of signature cocktails.

Of note, the cocktails were served in a very timely manner, arriving well before the entree.

Focaccia, formaggio and oysters for entree. All delicious, always a nice surprised when food exceeds expectations. I would say in particular the oysters were about as good as they get.

Porcini gnocchi and rainbow trout for mains, full of flavour and cooked perfectly. Was very tempted to order a third dish half way through mains, but the generous servings were more than enough. So missed out on trying another culinary delight.

Tiramisu for dessert, my wife’s favourite, and was deemed at least equal to the best she has ever had.

We were in Coogee for three nights and only found Osteria on the last night. Definitely an experience I would love to repeat. Thanks for an exceptional night.

Beautiful setting, great food, exceptional service and most of all you feel so welcomed, almost like family. A wonderful date place and equally lovely with friends and family. We will be back for sure.

Really good service and the food is so delicious! Octopus, buratta and the mushroom gnocchi were all so delicious. I would come back! The focaccia was so delicious and great to dip any leftover sauce with!

I'd lived in Coogee for over 3 years and somehow never been here. I've now been twice in 3 weeks since discovering what I've been missing out on. I've had the set menu both times and every single item is to die for. It's rare to find a set menu where you'd literally have ordered everything on there anyway. 10/10 would recommend everyone to try here.
I do also want to say the service from Maddi was incredibly attentive and very professional.

Definitely an upper class dining experience but very much worth it. One of the top 3 restaurants I've been to in Sydney. Go with a group and get their banquet, it won't disappoint.

Yvette and the team were an absolute dream to work with! We held a dinner at Osteria as part of our conference for 50 people and everything was handled exceptionally. From taking the booking, confirming the menu, finalising the drinks and the format of the night - Yvette and the team went above and beyond for everything. Nothing was ever an issue. We would HIGHLY recommend Osteria for your next meal whilst in Coogee! Thank you Yvette and team for all that you did to make the night one to remember by all.

Signed. Sealed and delivered on all of their promises to authentic Italian cuisine. Loved it all. We got a steak that we'd preordered via reservation. Cooked beautifully - but if was some of the regional and family recipes that really wowed us. Definitely recommend.

Wow what an afternoon! Such a great bottomless brunch! They top up drinks regularly and you don't have to constantly ask for more. Food is fantastic. Morgan was a wonderful waiter! He took the time to get to know us and really took care of us. A wonderful attentive staff member. It really made our time at the restaurant special! Would recommend without hesitation. 10/10!

The team are amazing nothing is never a bother! We stay till well past close and have never told us to leave. Awesome food, cocktails and Amazing staff. Love Love Love these guys! Can’t keep us out ️

This is my favourite restaurant in Coogee they never fail to have awesome food and service. That’s why we keep going back.

Bravo，The overall taste of the bistecca three-rare steak is okay, and the grilled eggplant is a bit greasy for me. Grilled octopus can be said to be very delicious. After slow cooking at low temperature, the Maillard reaction will occur after being grilled on open fire. Pork chops should be similar, with a very tender texture and rich juice retention. The creamy mushroom sauce is very good, the texture is smooth and not greasy.

Le goût général du steak bistecca trois saignants est correct, et l'aubergine grillée est un peu grasse pour moi. On peut dire que le poulpe grillé est très délicieux. Après une cuisson lente à basse température, la réaction de Maillard se produira après avoir été grillée à feu ouvert. Les côtelettes de porc doivent être similaires, avec une texture très tendre et une rétention de jus riche. La sauce crémeuse aux champignons est très bonne, la texture est onctueuse et non grasse.

It is a lovely restaurant with great food and ambience but the evening was far from what we had expected.
We arrived on time for our 7pm booking on a Sunday. We ordered our starter and drink and that was fine. Then we ordered our first tapas each. We had just started them and the waitress told us that the kitchen would close in 30 minutes! After we had just started eating and drinking! It was a special evening and we would have booked earlier had we known. We are locals and we never spend so much on dinner … it was a one-off and we felt unwanted. We paid $110 each for being hurried through our very expensive but delicious meal. I felt the restaurant owed us but they justified this behaviour saying all restaurants have to close by 10 (like it was common knowledge) and that all customers are informed of this… we weren’t until was too late. I was only offered a free drink next time.

Morgan the waiter was friendly and just made u feel good about been there the fooca and wife was great so do try you won't be disappointed

Andy and the team at Osteria couldn’t have been more accommodating to make a birthday lunch such a fantastic experience. We had a large group of 22 with set menu and bottomless drinks and were positioned perfectly on the tables on and around the balcony. Lovely day and even a bit of cricket on the oval. The food was excellent, the drinks flowed and it’s the best place for mingling if you have a decent sized group.

This place was ok the $70 PP was a shared between two people as there was 16 of us not good and was still hungry after we finished, i would sticking to the single dishes next time for bigger groups but may not come back here.

It was a lovely casual dinner for us. Pizza Fritta was undercooked but everything else was perfect. We loved the service and the Gnocci!

6 stars! We’re here regularly and always look forward to our visits. The food is delicious; the drinks are fabulous; the wine list has been thoughtfully curated and service is infallibly friendly and knowledgeable.

The interior is worth a mention- it’s cosy and beautiful; a lovely mix of wood, leather and greenery. My husband I have both commented that we think the lighting is perfect- odd thing to mention but it’ll make sense when you see it.

Pay these guys a visit on a Sunday afternoon and you’ll be treated to $2 oysters and $10 cocktails- our favourites are the Sicilian margarita and the best Aperol spritz that I’ve had outside of Italy.

My friend and I went to Osteria Coogee to celebrate a birthday, and we loved it! The food and drinks were superb and the woman who served us was friendly and professional. The decor inside is beautiful - overall a great place to have lunch. We're looking forward to coming back!
