After breaking a SIM card, popped into the store and requested a new SIM card with the current phone number, they then asked a million intrusive questions to attempt to upsell us while making us wait, a couple walked in after us, and they were served first, after an almost 20 minute or so wait, we went in and said look don't worry about it, to which the manager replied "yeah, we close soon anyway", as if we hadn't been waiting that whole time, and they continued to serve others. Really rude and totally don't care or want to help unless you're making a large purchase.
I must complement the staff at Belmont Optus on their excellent after sales service. I bought an iPhone there a few years ago and I had a problem with it. I was at The Citi Centre and thought I would ask their advice as The Apple Store is harder for me to get to and you need an appointment. They were very willing to help and solved my problem without hesitation. Many thanks for your excellent service.

WI went down to upgrade my phone and honestly best service I've had I a long time at optus. Shannon was beyond helpful and kind. Definitely recommend them especially Shannon

My sister, an international student, pays more than double to Australian University- what she got here on her third day in Australia: rudeness and racism from one of Optus employees in Belmont when she asked for help to charge her phone because her phone ran out of battery, she was lost and wanted to call me. All other helpful locals recommended her to go to the Optus office to seek help charging the phone, but the person on duty on the 26th of July 2023 at around 1 to 1: 30 p.m. Declined to help her.
Placed order on Friday 12 for new phone plan etc. Received by email a plan that was nothing that I agreed to and it was $50 extra per month. So I went to Belmont Optus to get it sorted out. They couldn’t do anything about it because they apparently can’t contact Optus direct? I offered to ring Optus on my phone but that would disrupt the customers, which there was 1. Walked out, drove to Optus Charlestown and it resolved in ten minutes.
Went there this morning to reset my galaxy watch 5 as it locked up, and within 5 minutes it was fixed Tom and the young fella who fixed my watch should be highly commended for there customer service.
