Went to this shop to review my data plan, the shop was empty yet there was a 15 - 20 minute wait for any service.

That is normally fine, but there was 3 members of staff joking around in the back rooms not doing any work.they stared right at me and didn't offer me any help.

When it came my time to be served, the staff member took 20 minutes to access my plan details, then told me that it was not their problem that our plan didn't work, and it was the sim cards.

We bought new sim cards at the shop a week prior, after I highlighted that, they suggested that our plan was to outdated.

This doesn't make any sense as the plan was still being provided by Optus, then they recommend I buy a $250 family plan.

There is never a straight answer with Optus and they will try to convince you to spend more money.

Called up and spoke to a guy with an American accent (think his name was Lawrence?) over a very simple enquiry - what is the status of this order ID. He accessed my account and then put me on hold for about 10 mins to review it. Thought that was a very long time to check but sure whatever.

He then tells me the status of the order is all set, credit check approved just pop in store to submit and sign. Started then on his whole sales pitch which I couldn't care less about. Turns out he blatantly lied about the status and it was in the same status as it was 3 days ago. When I bring this up it's immediately shrugged off and that there's no way he said that because of xyz reasons. While I'm in store he then tries pressuring me into a bunch of stuff.

Absolutely shameless. Cancelled my existing service and my new order and took both over to Telstra. No idea why you need to lie and then say you didn't over if an order was processed or not.

My wife and I would like to compliment the outstanding service we received from Ali this morning.

Previously we had tried to resolve a problem with my wife's expiring prepaid by using the message service. After 2 hours nothing was resolved and in fact "Alwin" on the chat made things worse.

Having then to go to an Optus shop to resolve our dilemma, Ali was extremely helpful and managed to sort out our problem quickly. In fact he went out of his way to escalate the issue which resulted in an amazing outcome. Thank you again Ali from Neil & Colombe

Simply trading in an old phone has so far taken over 45 minutes and it's still not complete. It was quicker getting a new phone and changing plans!

Very disappointed with my visit to the optus store today! Got sat at the back of the store and made to wait for an hour and a half. Spoke to a number of people and nobody had a solution to my very simple problem or even seem to care. The staff are obviously on commission so are not interested in anyone with a problem. I would not recommend going here unless you want to sign a new contract the staff will be all over you like a bad rash.

Hopeless shop spoke to lachlan on the 16th about cancelling a phone left at the shop phone still hasnt been cancelled still stuck with an active plan

Absolutely shocking!

Every time we have to deal with them is a major hassle, this last time they waisted over 1hr of my time with a insurance claim and then after calling Optus found out that the store kept our device for 20days before sending it to the repair people! Not cool!

The shop is run by young people who have below ZERO customer service skills. It employs staff on training without skills and knowledge of product and services. To this date i still do not have a contract in hand, i don't know what i signed up for. The store failed to supply me with terms and conditions, yet is compelling me to these. I am at a financial loss because of the store mistakes. Yet staff failed to rectify their mistake. I have been with Optus over 14 years but i can tell you this will be my last contract. My advise to anyone is to stay away from that store it is asking for problems. Break you leg instead its probably easier to fix than all the drama that these people would create.

Very disappointed with phone service I received from Ash today. I called back to speak to the store manager and got Ash again. He stated he was the manager essentially blocking me from taking my complaint further or simply resolving my problem. I called Optus direct to which we easily resolved the issue. I called the Warringah store again to advise that I received a satisfactory solution. Got someone else on the phone to find that Ash is NOT the store manager!

Staff were not at all helpful to me and my partner (who is vision impaired and needed to switch phone SIM card) not at all considerate of people with disabilities.don’t recommend this store

After nearly 10 years with personal and businesses accounts I’ll be finishing up with Optus because their Warringah Mall Branch. They made me go back and forth 5 times to be able to get an extra line on my business account - which was going to add another $50 into my already large bill with them - but after all that and the credit history I have - the very rude staff (including the manager) told me I had no credit score to have the extra line added to my account! Well done Optus. Always going above and beyond to lose customers.

I went into the store 2 days ago as I had an enquiry about my account. I could not sign into the covid register as my phones battery was almost dead. A staff came to see me as I stood at the door. I explained this to him as he requested to see my Double Vax. I had enough phone life to show him my double vax, which he seen and he took my details down on paper. He still would not allow me into the store as I could not sign in electronically, although he took my details down on paper. He also went to the Manager, and he came back to say the Manager also refused my entry.
