Opera Bar reviews
57The king fish tostada was very nice. We also ordered the pizza and found it good as well. The view was fantastic. So, can’t complain.
No wait to get in. Cold beer and shade. Order at table with mobi.
Very pleasant on a hot afternoon
Nice place, huge terrace in front of the Opera house. Service by QR code like most of the big bar places in Sydney. The food is really nice (sweet potato wedges at least) and drinks are pretty good. A bit expensive but expected when you see the location
Lovely view but pricy, you need to pay A LOT for that good location:) For people who really want some decent quality food in Sydney, I suggest you go somewhere else after visiting opera house, staff here don’t know how to serve, they just wonder around with their judging face since they have a good location, they couldn’t care less about customers experience.
One of my favourite places to dine.
Terrific live music; breathtaking view and beautiful food. Also ans excellent selection of drinks.
This spot is perfect! Best of the best view for a drink or meal. Good service and friendly staff. Love the adorable 'Bird Patrol' dog that would scare off the endless flocks of annoying seagulls. Seagulls will swoop and hover and try take your food when seated outside, so you must be quick to eat, or rely on the Superdog to scare them away! Definitely worth the visit!
Food was fresh. I had a share of both hot and cold fish platter. Both were good. Fresh one might leave you a bit hungry but it was highly quality. Location is nice with direct views of harbour bridge but through unfortunate design no water views. Seating for many groups. I wouldn't go here for an intimate dinner but for drinks with friends and colleagues. A little on the expensive side but not over the top for the location. It was awkward ordering at the bar.
Order via QR code on smartphone. Great ambiance at night just adjacent to the Sydney Opera House
One of our most fav places to dine at. The view speaks for it self. The food is always really delicious and they've got really friendly staff.
Very cool
Relaxing by the water
Cocktails are beautiful and go down easy
A must do in Sydney
Fantastic venue, great music and lovely food. A great place to catch up with family and friends on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Many thanks xxx
Was nice. You really only go for the views. Avoid ordering food, if you do, be prepared to be attacked if you choose to sit outside.
Had a lovely snack here, sat inside due to the cold and wind, lovely view of the Harbour bridge, a little pricey but we enjoyed our time here.
Of course beautiful views. Menu has been cut down quite a bit since I was last here so they don't have the same selection that I remember. Awesome cocktails here and also serving a delicious cider if that's what you're into. Salt & Pepper Squid is delicious if you're looking for something to munch on with a drink.
Amazing view and vibes. Food was simply good. My favourite was vegetable dips. Perfect spot to hangout with friends. Only thing to note is seagulls.
Booked Opera Bar Kitchen. Poor service considering there weren't many people there for Friday Lunch.
Great view, food's good too but pricy. The seagull patrol are quite cute and entertaining
Great location. Staff were lovely. We had calamari and fish and chips to share. Good portion sizes. They have a guy with a dog on a lead who runs up a nd down scaring off the seagulls@! The seagulls are very persistent
Staff need to look in to customer service a lot more, and stop serving then beer if having issues with gas, and attend to customer if they ask for help instead of hiding behind the bar.
Great location on Sydney Harbour to view the Sydney harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House! Extremely popular everyday and more so on weekends. Has good selection of food and beverages and exotic cocktails. Reasonable prices considering the location, and live music. Great atmosphere. Seagulls can be a nuisance if you buy sushi! Take your camera for best photos of Australian icons! A visit to Sydney must include Sydney Opera Bar / house. Highly recommended! 12/10.
