7My dad spent 8 weeks at opal Narraweena, it was the most humbling experience for him & for us as a family. We were very nervous when dad arrived it was our first time for him going into aged care. We thought the facility was a bit dated but had been advised by a family member whom is a nurse, not look at the nice pictures on the wall or the beautiful carpet but to really look into the care of the residents & their families. What a beautiful experience for dad it was he never asked to go home all he could say was, what beautiful people they all were & how amazing he was being looked after. Claire who was just so beautiful on the admin team, greeted us everyday always with smile & would give us updates on dad, Kylie who was one of dads carers was so funny & loved dads sense of humour, the nursing staff, Eric the cook would try & make food to accommodate dads needs. Just everyone at opal Narraweena were just so supportive, caring & kind. I cannot recommend highly enough.
My mom is so happy there, she loves the staff and managers. They even setup a shop for the residents because of the pandemic. We couldn’t have been happier
Terrific caring staff to look after mum. There is nothing they wouldn't do to make her stay a happy one.
Such a wonderful little place, bright, activities for those who do it, that chef they have there is worth his weight in gold, the staff are all very caring, management are great, they get into it also. My husband went into the facility for a very short time before passing away on 5th Jan 2018, the dignity they gave to him was absolutely the best. Highly recommend this facility hidden away along side the Beverley Job sports Park
I have found this nursing home to have the most important ingredient, kind and friendly careers, nurses and staff, in a peaceful environment. It is bright, warm and clean and does not smell like a nursing home. They manage all health problems presented to them, and provides suitable food for all conditions. Visiting is free and the building secure, my family and friends are very impressed.
