Opal Caravan Park reviews
71One of the best camp sites. The nicest, most accomodating staff, toilet/shower blocks super clean and well maintained and the pool is a massive bonus. Came for a 1 night stop over and stayed for 3.
Reception staff were absolutely fantastic, great clean park with great facilities, would not hesitate to visit again, thanks for a great stay!
Highly recommend this park, plenty of space, amenities were spotless, close to main shopping etc.we would not hesitate to book there again, also had entertainment two lady bush poets they were very funny
A great caravan park. Large flat sites and not one stupid speed hump anywhere to be seen. Close to town and the Artesian pool. Amenities were spotless and great facilities around the park. Absolutely recommend staying here.
Have a dog day care. That's grate. But if U want a cabin they only 2 cabins that are for dogs. So I was turned away. No care or advice given. Sleeping on the side of the road. Thanks Big 4.
Staff very helpful and polite, the amenities are well maintained, and very clean. Love the doggy day care
Pool refreshing & staff took time to turn air conditioners on before we arrived. Thank you
Excessive in price as only required one night stay & reason given was high season, normal price was for a minimum of two night stay. But had plenty of vacancies. ️
Only 3 stars as it was a bit disappointing there was no wifi, apparently the wifi doesn’t reach our cabin.at $300 a night i think this should be fixed.ended up leaving a day early as couldn’t log in for work emails or kids couldn’t watch a movie or any social media.
Besides that staff were great room was extremely nice
Great carvana park. Very clean and tidy with everything you need there. There isn't grass so be prepared and it's a little out of town 2min drive but walking distant to the hot baths.
They also had a ao on every night. Was a good laugh.
Would definitely recommend it
Fantastic place, awesome staff. 5min walk to the artesian baths. And their pool is great. Don't forget to ask for the free drill to put your tent pegs into the ground with ️
A nice place to stay but we were put next the main throroughfare with procession of caravans coming in late afternoon and leaving in the mornings, it was very stressing watching kids play on the busy road next to the camp kitchen but the facilities were good.
Great park with modern facilities and quiet. Spent a couple days there on the way home. Artesian Spring down the road is a must.
Great service again, as usual great clean amenities, big sites and always clean.
Only things that had changed from last trip was the name change and the trees have grown.
Thanks, see you next ime.
Really clean, great facilities and good value. Cabin was perfect and everything was close.
Large caravan sites and excellent amenities. Great camp kitchen and fire pit. Close to town. Friendly staff. The park is all gravel but expected considering it's LR.
Stayed 3 nights overall a nice place but honestly found it overpriced by about $10 to $15 a night. I didn't really use most of facilities, road noise was noticeable, very muddy after rain and in the end it's just another caravan park.
From ease of booking, to quick and easy check in, the entire experience was excellent.
Well situated sites and great amenities.
Have absolutely loved our few days here.tje staff in the office were extremely helpful each time we went in, spacious camp sites and really clean amenities.we will definitely be back in the future
I of the best caravan parks I've ever stayed in friendly staff what are always ready to help you out amenities & camp kitchens some of the cleanest & best maintained I've ever seen lovely pool & great size sites this place is amazing & great fo all ages
This park has good ammenities, but you definitely pay for them. There is a car wash area near the dump point, and the park is tidy and well maintained. If you need to tie down your awning, you will need screw in pegs, due to the compacted gravel.
The greatest downside for us, is their refusal to sign Centrelink rent certificates. We ended up spending over an hour at Centrelink sorting out additional paperwork. After emailing the management as to why it is their policy to not sign, I was notified “…we are not prepared to sign a declaration that can be used to secure a Commonwealth benefit. ”
