Horrible service
Couldn't get my table till 30minutes into my paid time and food came so late. I barely had time to eat, horrible place

Very long wait for food to come. Need more staff both in the kitchen as well as on the floor.

The service was very lacklustre and the food was not good. We asked for wine glasses three times and found ourselves clearing our own table onto another neighbouring one crammed with dirty plates because our dirty plates were left on our table for way too long. I will never return to this restaurant, some dishes we ordered were inedible and the previously frozen prawns were oozing with their liquified intestinal tracts rendering me unable to eat prawns again. They also use garlic powder instead of real garlic in their fried rice, this was the worst fried rice I have ever had. This restaurant uses the cheapest ingredients possible - the sushi plate consists of two types of egg nigiri, prawn nigiri, a very small amount of salmon. The miso soup was awful, all of us took one sip and pushed this tasteless watery solution aside. I was very disappointed with every dish we were served except one (the miso steak was ok). Get your sushi elsewhere as this restaurant will leave you completely underwhelmed and feeling ripped off.

Eat all you can place, 40 for adults and 25 for below 12s. Small servings to minimise food wastage is a good idea, since you can keep ordering via app anyway. Sushi and Sashimi was okay (hard to get those wrong unless you don't use fresh) and the other entree items were good (agedashi tofu, takoyaki, sausage skewers, etc.) Mains were okay, but liked the chicken katsu the most.

If you can eat a lot, price point is good. But if you are after something more tastier, then other places might tickle your fancy more.

Actually disgusting - served raw pork to us. Every time you order takeaway, they conveniently forget items too. Would not recommend - there’s much better Japanese food close by in Epping or eastwood.

Had buffet last Sunday with family and two little tots here in Pennant Hills. The experience was very nice and pleasant. All appreciated the food and service. Despite being very busy due to the nature of service, all staff were efficient, kind and courteous. A special shout out to Angelo, the Manager, who looked after us from booking to when we left the restaurant. He is very hands on, understands the business and has the quality of a good manager. Definitely recommend Okami here in Pennant Hills. I'm sure your other branches are also good.

Worse sushi platter in the area:
This place is definitely not authentic. We've ordered a sushi platter and seriously the rice is too sour and the salmon is so thin U can see through it! Won't ever order from here. The chicken is over deep fried and it's not the usual batter you get at Japanese restaurant.

Went to try the buffet. Very disappointing. There just a few items on the menu that you can order over and over again, but not many options at all. For the price is ok

Where do I start.
The slice of tuna/salmon on a nigiri is thinner than the average nigiri, not to mention it's not fresh since you can smell it as if it's been out for a while. The batter used for fried food is not the usual batter used in Japanese crusine. Good service at the counter though. I highly suggest using fresh and decently portioned ingredients, people will pay the extra for quality food, but I feel ripped off here. Sorry, buy I won't be returning.

OMG It was the worst restaurant that I have ever been and the food was so much rubbish as well as service. It says that restaurant is buffet but It wasn’t actual buffet because it was not the buffet that we commonly know. We had no choice to order and get ourselves and they severed food that they only could serve but they charged $40 per person for nothing. It was worse than any other street sushi takeaway shops. We could only eat they served very little portion of rubbish fried veggies and prawns but even fried prawns didn’t have actual prawn inside…also for sashimi? Can you imagine that 8 people had to share 8 small pieces of salmon in one plate and we couldn’t even order more… quality of all food was very bad and not fresh at all… OMG I still can’t believe how they run the restaurant like that with poor and horrible quality of food… never go and don’t even think to try to go there… it was worst and worst worst worst restaurant that I have ever experienced … No recommendations

It was our first time at this Japanese restaurant. We had a pleasant experience. The server- Kamala served every dish with a smile. She gave us great recommendations about the dishes we inquired about. She was so pleasant and lovely. Our experience was beyond our expectations. We can highly recommend “ All you can eat - Omani Japanese Restaurant. The food was served very warm and within minutes of ordering. Great choice of dishes. Really tasty and presentation was equally good.
We will visit again!

Great all you can eat. Currently 39.80 per adult.
Order what you like and they come out with portions based on your party size, the flavours were great, everything was perfectly cooked. Staff were great dealing with a full house

Absolutely value for money. Very good service, great food with decent menu and options, appropriate plate size (helps in not wasting food).

Certainly a place to visit multiple times.

I made a big mistake and ordered the sushi Bento box. All sushi pieces were very cold and felt like it had been in fridge for several days. I only ate 1 or 2 pieces and threw the rest. Hopefully I won't get sick. There was hardly any rice in sushi either. Terrible experience. There was zero salt in miso soup and was thrown away after first sip. What a waste of my hard earned money ordering from this terrible place. Please leave Pennant Hills and let another company use that space.

Was a great experience. The all you can eat had some cool options that were very yummy, I loved the ika spicy misoyaki (miso squid) The icecream at the end was also delicious.

Average quality, food was OK.the rating is for the Poor Experience with the Service.
We dined here with a party of 22. Food was delivered promptly within the first half hour. BUT then we never received our orders for the next half hour or so.
A party of 22 people without any food on the table, unacceptable! The only table that has no food coming. The crew disappeared and so with our orders, no system that they could track what we ordered.
We had to chase the manager 3x.despite 30mins gap they never extended our booking time.

Wow! It's certainly popular. Two packed dinner services on the Saturday night we were there.

But it was so noisy that it's not for me, at least not on a busy night.

Overwhelming, and not in a good way.

I was excited to try this place, but now that we have, I don’t think we will be going back.

We were seated by 5: 45 and ordered straight away. After 45 minutes of waiting and asking several different staff members where the food was, we were served food we hadn’t ordered while other people were served our food. This sort of thing happened the whole time we were there. The staff were apologetic, but continued to make the same mistakes over and over.

The wait staff were clearly over worked and were having trouble keeping track of orders. I noticed that the couple on the table next to us were having similar issues.

We certainly didn’t get our moneys worth and left hungry because we didn’t receive a lot of the food we ordered and were kicked out (because of the allotted times) before we could get it.

As one final act of terrible service, they opened the doors at 7pm to let the freezing winter air (about 10c at the time) inside to hurry diners up and make them leave.
