Hopeless service. Staff standing around, unwilling to help with printing problem. Very poor.
Officeworks reject negative reviews on their website, so all of their products have 4-5 stars when in reality many are just useless junk that you will have to replace every 6 months.
The workers at this establishment are slow and when you need help they don't deliver it took 30 minutes to pick up click and collect very disappointed with the service from rutherford office works
Absolutely terrible customer service, went in to buy a tablet stood around the computer section for ages and no one came to help so I went and found a staff member, she told me to go to the service desk and let them know what I want and it will be brought to the desk.
When I got to the service desk I was met by the most unhelpful person in sales I think I've ever encountered, this lady was not happy to be there at all and made it known, after she made me wait for a while to tell me that the item I wanted was out of stock, i asked her what they have in stock in the same range, she told me to go have a look myself and see what else I wanted because she didn't have time and they were short staffed. I was open to being upsold a more expensive tablet had anyone even tried. I went elsewhere and spent an extra $150 on cases as well as bought fa $600 tablet. Very clear that these guys aren't rewarded for sales.
I’ve generally found this store to be well organised and well staffed. When requested, the team member had been informative or able to complete my request.
Free parking is directly out the front.
Went in to buy a laptop stood around in the laptop section for about 15 mins waiting for help…. Got nothing. Went looking for someone to help a couple of staff were with customers and genuinely busy however there were several younger guys that seemed to duck around a corner every time they saw me and another couple behind the counter just having a chat.
Was probably a blessing I came home and jumped online and found a higher model than I was looking at, at Domayne for about $20 less.
A big thank you to Charlene for helping me with printing out some photos, Was a little tricky getting some off messenger but she had it sorted.
The 4 stars are for the young check out girl beautiful customer service. But you have one very rude and disgraceful woman on the floor. You all probably know who im talking about. So please do something about it. If there's no job out the back let her go her attitude is duscusting rude and aggressive and she doesn't want to help us. Even though we pay her wage
What friendly helpful staff. They make the difference between a good store and a great store. Extensive range of products, great parking and wheelchair friendly. Keep up the good work.
This was by far the worst experience I have ever had with sales staff. I wanted to buy 3 laptops for my family business and they were basically refusing to sell them to me until I gave them my name, address, email and phone number. I called for the manager and he repeated the same company clap trap. The robot kid that was serving me could not accept I wasn't required to give the information and told me unless they send me a receipt to my phone, I had no warranty.
I don't normally get upset at sales staff for following invasive company policy but this time everyone I interacted with, including the manager, were rude and confrontational.
I always though you were only REQUIRED to give such info to a Police Officer.
Now, after reading other comments, it's obvious the company has no concern with their staff being rude to customers.
Everytime I go to the Rutherford store I am assited by pleasant well mannered staff Jacob was the staff member who took time and patients to help me today
Unhelpful staff that don't seem to serve customers. I ended up going to the Domain up the road and spent my money there, instead.
Was testing pens to see which ones i liked as an artiste. One of the workers comes up to me and my friend and snaps at us, rudely telling us that the pens are only for testing IF you are wanting to buy them and proceeded to very rudely tell us not to open New pens when we had literally only just got to that section. I had only had the chance to pick up one pen to test it. Made me décide not to spend my money there.
Came in on 23/12 and was served by an amazing member of staff in the Print Centre about 6.30pm. Although it was such a busy time and many customers were obviously stressed, this man was very kind and patient! A great member of your team!
Customer service is not very good, lots of staff there but nobody seems to be willing to help customer
Xmas week, self serve photo booth playing up. No receipt printed. 4/5 staff behind desk with one serving. When 2 of us stood waiting noone came to serve us but kept chatting & one walked out of area.
Checkouts had 2 servers with at least 6 customers waiting & more moving to line. Took several minutes for 2 more checkouts to open whilst several staff stood around talking. Poor customer service for such a busy week
This team has the absolute worst customer service. Each team member had no idea and would pass you onto the next (which I was directed to having to seek out myself on the floor) without any care of their really cold and very unfriendly communication. Finally got to the counter and then without any explanation was told that two items I was not able to buy as they were the last two in stock. No point discussing with the team member by this time and no point ever returning.
Another officeworks proving itself to have the worst customer service in Australian retail. Tried to use the self serve photo machine only for the card machine to not be working, then told to pay at the desk only to be ignored by 10 staff members for almost 10 minutes. All staff members ignored eye contact with the queue of customers waiting to be served. Pay at the counter and am told to go back to self serve to print the image, only for the printer to print only half the photograph. Just a reminder to avoid officeworks at all costs.
