Officeworks Port Macquarie

I attended the Port Macquarie branch today and although all other staff were very helpful, the manager Levi needs some serious training in customer service. He couldn’t care less, and strolled around chewing gum rather than helping me find what I needed. If someone would like to know more please contact me.

I don’t like to give bad reviews but the service is consistently poor. Management really needs to prioritise serving customers. I waited at the printing counter for over 10 minutes. There were 2 staff on check outs serving no one and a 3rd just standing there talking amongst themselves and I counted 4 staff stocking selves all within eyesight of me waiting to be served and no one staffing the printing section. Hubby tried to pick up my printing order last Friday and got frustrated and left for the same reason.

I urgently needed help to apply for a replacement Australian Citizen Certificate. After frantically jumping through (what felt like 1 million) hoops to prove my identity, I was gifted with an Angel by the name of Dayna. The level of customer service I was given today was a rarity. Not only did Dayna keep me calm, helped organise, scan and name each scanned file individually. She also worked past her 2pm finishing time. I’ve just walked out the store at 2: 25pm one very happy and impressed customer. If there is a team member of the month award or acknowledgment for going “above & beyond”, Dayna should be acknowledged. This young lady would be an asset to any business and will go far in her career given the level of professional service I received today.

Always was good experience with this shop except this time, the staff at printing section Jess, with a stoned face from the start, didn't not show any willingness to help and didn't help, nevertheless I thanked her and received No response from this lady. Once again Jess you could be nice.

Tiffany is the worst store manager I've come across. Happy to sell you a product, though if faulty and returned she refuses to fix it even if the product is still in warranty. She shrugs, tries to shift blame onto you and handball the issue elsewhere. Very unhelpful and unprofessional. Unfortunately for her I'll be going higher. Cheers. PS: the workers don't think highly of her either, so who's the real issue of the place?

Awkwardly situated store with a chaotic car park adjacent. The store itself, while adequately staffed, just looked tired with stock often scattered throughout. Placing sale items in the middle of the main entry way just creates an obstruction.

The store does not announce to customers that the store is closing soon, to give customers time to finish their shopping. I was told by an assistant this evening that ‘the store is now closed’ and implied that I should leave. I felt completely rushed and was then ushered out the side door. Unpleasant experience. Officeworks should get an announcer and educate their staff on how to treat customers better.

Quick shop at Office works. Got in early for 2023 school shopping. Been caught out and waited till Jan and missed out.

Large store with lots of stationery and office needs as you would expect. Brand choice is restricted, particularly in technology.
Prices aren't too bad overall.
I can seldom find new items I want without asking staff; I know the store is much smaller than Bunnings Hardware, but it would be good if they listed an aisle and bay number on-line, similar to Bunnings.

This has been our third trip into Port Macquarie store.never again.two hours spent trying to print 4 photos.had to ask staff for help.they were not keen to help at all displaying a very surley appearance.we were told they are short staffed, rubbish, noticed other staff laughing drinking water and having fun keeping well clear of serving customers.we walked out after wasting 2 hours. Went to Harvey Norman who provided a dedicated staff member to complete our order.
Note to Office Works Management TRAIN YOUR STAFF.

I am absolutely discussed in the way they treat elderly customers at this store. My father went to the store, to have 2 photos copies, the young girl employee told him its self serve. He as for help saying he is not tech savvy. Sorry cant help you. REALLY.do you not realise that one day you will be OLD. I can not believe that he was sent away. Good to know that the Staff at Kmart are very accommodating.

Went in to have a file printed and binded, it would not download, staff member Keiran fixed our problem, did the printing etc all in record time to make our deadline. Thank you Keiran.

I went looking for a multi-purpose laptop. I had know idea what I needed. The lovely Keiran walked me through only what I need. They didn't give me too much information to scramble my brain.
I walked away confident in my on going search. Keiran even gave me information on things they don't stock and where to get the best one.

Ordered a custom sign for a business, took over a month which wasn't the issue, we had no email or contact telling us about its delay or progress and had to call 5 times to get any information just to be told it was sitting there ready for pick up they just didnt email us.

Went in to pick up and staff completely ignored us, no greeting when we were standing right in front of them, DEFINETLY need to train your staff in customer service, its not that hard.

Staff need customer service training. Asked one assistant for help and was pointed to a back corner to search for myself. At checkout was served curtly.
Other customers were more helpful.

Found everything we were looking for. Store had a huge range of back to school and office supplies. Layout of shop is nice. All service counters were operational and staffed. Shelves were well stocked, and neatly displayed. Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Plenty of parking close to entrance and wheelchair access. First choice for office supplies, definitely.

Twice have been to Officeworks, both times no one asks you for help.
The last one kept walking in front of me while I was studying a product. Not once did they ask me if I needed assistance or did they excuse themselves for walking in front of me on several occasions. Not happy. Was there to purchase a computer and printer. NOT ANYMORE
VERY BAD SERVICE PORT MACQUARIE

Needed a random bit is stationary desperately for a wedding the next morning. It was 8pm and I thought I was out of luck. HOWEVER Officeworks was open till late. I was served really well, the guy knew exactly what I wanted and exactly where it was. I was in and out in Leeds than 5 mins. Good work Officeworks
