The staff at the Officeworks printing section were very professional during my recent visit. Their passion for great customer service shone through, showing excellent knowledge of the printing equipment and genuine kindness towards customers, while going above and beyond to help everyone no matter how small or complex the printing job was even though there was clearly a high workload for them to contend with just before Christmas.

Hi Josh, thank you for all your help n support n being so kind, too, even if you are so busy. And even all the people there are all so helpful.

Definitely, officeworks is the best for all our needs like when it comes to print photos, I go there all the time, n for office needs n technology. Catch up to you next time again soon. Best wishes.
Kind regards,
Ioan n cristy Toplicescu

PS I wanted to comment regards the post of Cheryl Hunt that the lady at office works was rude to her, my question in what way she was rude when she just said just wait as she is serving someone, be considerate, I think Cheryl Hunt, you didn't noticed that they were short of stuff but not only office works but all business are, because of the situation we are in. For us to more considerate, always try to put yourself in the place, what will you feel. We have to learn to be kind n patience specially in this situation we are in. Josh who served us is not ordinary workers there, he is the manager but he have to come out to help when he notices needing help. We just wait patiencely n kindly. Hope you don't get offended just a kind reminder. Regards, Cristy

Went into Nowra store today to get a document printed out. The young girl at the counter said hi then I asked her if I sent it to the email could she print it for me, she was so rude she said I am actually serving someone else at the moment I don’t have time. So I told her don’t worry about it and I left the store. I have always had great service and the staff are always so helpful not today ️

Store manager was extremely difficult and rude. Failed to honour their own price match policy despite it having been confirmed over the phone as an appropriate product and available immediately in stock. No reasonable justification provided.

Absolutely terrible service! We literally got kicked out in very aggressive manner by a staff member for having a kitten in an approved carrier in store with us. We have just adopted him and couldn’t leave him in a car because it was too hot outside. We actually live far away and made a trip to nowra to get school supplies before school holidays ended.
If kitten wasn’t allowed in store I can understand. What I can’t understand is raising voice at my children and myself and nearly manhandling us out screaming that cat is not in the cage and we must leave now. Cat was definitely in the cage and we had no issues in grocery store and food court having kitten with us that day. My kids actually got pretty scared. Very unprofessional way to handle the situation by your team member. Will never be going there again!

Disgusting service, rude staff, rude manager

Left such a bad taste in my mouth so will definitely not be returning here or any other officeworks store for that matter.

Good range, clean and tidy, big problem is the meet and greet person, and goodbye person is needed to help keep the queue moving faster. I really don't care if someone says hello or goodbye make the instore experience better

Absolutely disgusting service. Placed a order for my business one month ago with an estimated delivery time of 3 days. One month later, 6 phone calls and 2 in store visits and no one can tell me where my order is or when it’s going to be delivered. When following up Nowra staff lied and told me they would follow up they didn’t and then when I followed them up to see why they haven’t chased it up they hung up on me. No accountability. Atrocious.

If you buy from here consult with ah IT technician first the staff lack basic product knowledge 2 business customers have gone in and have been sold non compatible equipment. Complaints lodged with square as it’s damaging their brand and it’s a no brainer when someone wants a printer the staff member should ask what devices do you print from instead of flogging what’s left on the floor. Client asks why can’t I print from a mobile device if the customer service sales agent had asked that question a compatible printer would have been sold or ordered… pathetic

Wasn’t very impressed with the staff.
The guy serving me was grumpy. And spent a lot of time looking at his phone. Waiting for the day to end. No knowledge in regards to products.
If the guy worked for me he would be out the door.

I can’t believe the staff have their phones on them. They should be concentrating on their job

I usually am fairly happy when dealing with OW staff, BUT. When I opened the epson mulltipack, purchsed 6 days ago at OW, the cyan was not in its sleeve and the seal had been punctured and tape removed. I needed this ink as the printer had run out and I needed the printout for my work. When I visited the store the cashier said, "that's not our fault", not "I'm sorry about that. " This response aggitated me - was it my fault? ! She sent me to get a replacement, unfortunately, a scaffold was across the shelving which I reached through to retrieve a similar pack. Upon return to the counter, as I was asking that the scaffold be moved I was told "you only had to ask" - well I was doing that. THe cashier then tells me that I cannot get the same product - she could have looked that up before. She called in the boss who sortred it out, although Ididn't appreciate the term 'alleged' damage - it WAS tampering, not by me.

I went in to see if they would price match for my very first time and asked if they price match with Telstra, which I was told over the phone that they would. The condition on the phone was that the phone must be unlocked, to which I said that all the postpaid phones are unlocked at Telstra so the girl over the phone said it would be fine and to come in.
Upon arriving, the place was utter chaos with no order and no clear direction of where to go. I met the girl at the click and collect counter who was a young girl, friendly enough although didn’t seem to have a clue about what she was doing. She uttered a few words at me saying that someone will be with my shortly to do the price match. She asked to verify the website and price, I showed her and said “that’s fine” before serving the next customer.

Upon standing there without being directed at all, a middle aged/elderly gentleman (with an unwelcoming demeanour and look on his face), who’s name I believe to be Wayne, grabbed the iPhone 12 from the bench and walked over to the larger counters on the other side of the store, presumably checking the website for price match assurance. No communication between the employees or the employees and customer whatsoever.

He then proceeds to call me over by waving his hand in a “come hither” motion; appalling customer service. No “hi how you going” or “follow me so we can discuss” or any customer service manners at all, it was actually laughable but so disgusting. The unwelcoming facials and demeanour could be my own sense of physical judgement, however this was just downright rude and not a great customer service standard at all. I then walked over and he arrogantly turned the computer screen around poking at the terms in an aggravated motion which stated that the deal be taken up with a Telstra plan.

Now, officeworks has the ability to negotiate, wherefore Telstra doesn’t. This being my first time price matching I simply was gauging what abilities and offers officeworks had. So I responded telling him I’ve got a sim only plan so the cost would be the same to buy outright with Telstra or to price match with office works as I wouldn’t be purchasing a sim, essentially telling him that the outright device is still eligible for purchase without a plan attached (which is true you just don’t get the warranty guarantee if there’s no plan). He swiftly and rudely responded with clear annoyance something along the lines of “Look, I don’t care what provider you’re with. We sell them outright here mate! You’re not going to get it-“ and then I cut him off saying “I was simply asking, I am not disputing it. I just wanted to know if you would price match” and rather than explaining or negotiating he simply told me “no we won’t” and walked off before I could ask any further questions or even make the purchase which was my plan if they wouldn’t price match anyway. I said thank you have a good say, as a polite and mannered person would to which he condescendingly said it back.

Extremely poor customer service, or what I would say lack thereof. The sales assistant was downright rude, arrogant, unwelcoming and had an awful attitude. They missed a sale opportunity which would’ve taken place with or without the price match had their staff not been so arrogant and rude. I’ve never priced match before and I’m not a great negotiator - I simply was just seeing what was to offer and I wasn’t even given that nor given the chance to make a purchase. Staff clearly need to be retrained on customer treatment because this is appalling. Can’t imagine how other people are being treated who have genuine price concerns or the lack of ability to speak up.

The 1 star given is only because when I called up to enquire again, a gentleman over the phone by the name of Pablo was very gracious and professional with great customer service and personality. He seemed genuinely alerted by my concern although I had not given him any details and even offered me a call back. 5 stars for Pablo, but as for the rest of your staff - they could take a few tips from him.

Pointless! No range, no stock and no assistance. Answers like "we don't keep much, we are a small store. " When I said the school teacher said to come here to buy it I was told "well we must be out of stock then, try online. " Without even checking the shelf or the computer system. This is the 3rd bad experience here.

Thanks so much Nat and Sarah for helping me in the printing section. It was my first time trying to print from my phone using their machines. I was totally clueless so Nat kindly helped me, I had them in the wrong format so she asked me to email them to her so she could fix it for me. Superb customer service! Sarah then took over and went to great lengths to make sure my printouts were perfect! Thanks so much for being so awesome and making my first time so easy. Nowra Officeworks. Highly recommend.
The staff are always so friendly and helpful!

Opened after the opening time just for me to get in there and find what I need on the shelves. Went to buy it to be told they don't have stock.

Literally will not ever shop here again.

Young children are always asking why this, why that? It really grinds your gears listening to them asking all these strange questions.
But in life, the 'why' game is so important to ask. If we ask why we do something, and why we do that, and why we do that.we learn. We truly learn, out of curiosity.

If you ask yourself why you get an education, well that's so you can get a job isn't it? Why do you want a job? So you can get money right? Why do you want money? And so on. You can ask this forever, and never get a satisfying resolution. You could ask why to everything, and never find an end.

But there's hope. Life isn't about money, it's not about how big your house is, or whether you can do 30 push-ups in a row. It's about the relationships we have with people along this journey we all call 'life'. Without these relationships, everything is meaningless.

At Officeworks Nowra, I met the kindest people. They were helpful, and genuine. I saw life in their eyes, and we had a big conversation about philosophical sciences. Their prices may have been way higher than other stores that could supply very similar things for lower prices, but that day I made friends. Real friends.

So.life isn't about money, or pickles, or Vanilla Coke No Sugar. It's about people. And Officeworks has truly shone through on that message.

Absolute joke! Went in at 3pm. Sanitiser bottle empty at the entrance to the store - told the lady at the counter who wasn’t really interested. Picked up a 5.1amp ‘jelly’ charger and the line up was a joke. 1 person serving. Walked out after waiting and watching the debacle behind the counter - hopeless. Sanitiser bottle still empty when I walked out.and they want people to sign in to be Covid safe. I’ll buy from another store online. Pick your act up.
