Absolutely woeful experience at Officeworks Mona Vale today.

Having made a visit to the store this morning specifically to check whether there was any issue with using multiple gift cards against a high value purchase (new phone), I was told there would be no issue.

I attended the store with my gift cards later today. The junior register staff firstly appeared to have received no training on how to process gifts cards and were actually ignored by their supervisor ‘Liz’ when they reached out for assistance on processing the sale.

Finally it was established, after I had had funds withdrawn from all of my gift cards, that they could not actually process the sale as there was a limit on the number of gift cards that could be used on a single transaction - a fact that I can only assume that Liz would have been aware of had she been paying any attention to the staff she was supposed to be supervising.

At this point I am now out of pocket for the total amount of funds withdrawn from the gift cards ($1200). The only possible way I have of reaching a resolution is to call head office on Monday morning, during my working hours, to register the issue.

Given my appalling experience to date, I’m not confident of an appropriate resolution.

The Costumer service girls at the desk are pure legends. They prevented someone to scam me by stopping me right before purchasing some apple gift cards. They really know what they r doing. Thousand thanks, you saved me $500.

Honestly, I’ve made this promise to never gonna visit their again. It’s just easy job why they make it so hard.the young boy don’t know proper work and he just assumed what he was doing is right and waste all my money and time. It’s just xerox a card on whole paper back and front. Guess wt he did. Different paper and image is on the right top paper barely know it’s I’d proof. I wasted an hour half to print stuff. This isn’t my first time as well. So disappointed.

I took photos ID to print to Officeworks in Mona Vale. I spent half an hour in the shop without begin able to print. The staff of your office was not able to help us. He told me to use the website. There is nothing in the website to upload the photo and to print. I called the shop and talk to the manager. He was not able to help us either. He said "the option to print online was on the website but it is not there any more". This is a not acceptable answer. Managers must help the customers but it seems that they even don't know what they are doing.

Staff stand around and don’t serve you. Then when the one staff member finishes what they are doing they walk off blindly to stack shelves. Can’t print a simple poster within 48 hours.

Save your time and sanity - find anywhere else to do your printing. Snap at Mona Vale is awesome by comparison. So use them.

Worst customer service, today and many times over the years. They constantly are understaffed in their print and copy department or totally ignore you in the queue. There are always staff milling around everywhere but I just waited for over 20 minutes. Useless.

I wish to give thanks and praise for commitment, perseverance and first class customer service I received from two staff, specifically, when assisting my printer issues - that ultimately led to replacement printer purchase.
Both Thomas and Barbara were pleasant and patient and capable in their investigative skills and customer approach. Thank you. I would hope these sentiments could find their way to their personeell /HR review documents

Outstanding customer service review for one of your Office Works employees. We give it a fabulous 100%+ to Charlotte, who works in your Printing Department.
The customer service we received from Charlotte that day was simply amazing.
This young woman was very compassionate to both my girlfriend and myself as our efforts in trying to print out photo's for her fathers funeral service was one of the tasks we needed to complete end of day and Office Works at Monavale seemed to be the perfect place to go to.
We thought, we had processed the instructions correctly as we did our self print, but unfortunately No, We still needed assistance as things weren't going as planned.
In the meantime Charlotte was multitasking, serving customers at the counter, helping with printing and the self printing, answering a variety of questions in a very professional manner. Taking it all in her stride. Nothing seemed to faze this person, she was in the zone.
Being present and focused as well as having a friendly smile for all her customers and co-workers didn't go unnoticed by us.
Customer service makes your business a repeat business so this store is in great hands as the customer service we experienced was simply awesome and going that extra mile for us in particular was very much appreciated as we needed help.
Charlotte noticed our anxiety levels were kicking in as the printer didn't take the credits, so we kind -of looked like a person who was drowning The one Who's putting up their hand and hoping that they'll get rescued before they go under.
Dramatic I know! But That's what it felt like for us. Anyway our life saver was Charlotte who helped us complete the tasks and I might just add made the Funeral Service go without a hitch. Thank you Charlotte for showing empathy and compassion and making that experience less stressful Thanks again.

If I could give it a zero I would this is the worst place I have ever been to in my whole entire life I sat at seven different photos printers all of them are broken and I spent four hours in Officeworks that day. I urgently needed these photos printed and the only way was to do click and collect and I would pick it up in a week, and to place the order in the store I needed my card details on me in which this circumstance I only had Apple Pay. I didn’t know this information till the end so I select all my photos just like every other time I didn’t have my card.customer service said that they couldn’t do anything about it even though they were meant to know how to run the machines and they laughed at me. I do not recommend this place zero stars

I needed to scan 4 A3 certificates to USB, they were scanned I was shown the images on the screen and was charged. When I got to the office I discovered the images were not there, I called to get them emailed to me as they were on their system, the lady who scanned them was at "lunch" at 9.30am and she would call me back. At 2.00pm I called back and was told they were deleted and to go to my local store to get them done again. Grrrr

I.ve shopped here alot, over the years it's nice to look at a product like a phone or computer and speak to staff members who clearly know their products, I get alot of printing done here, and I mean alot.there prices are very reasonable.
The fact that there's a wait for the printing line is always a good sign, u- however the staff especially the young ones Tyler- need to listen, take notes and ask DO not change the document size without talking to customers, or printing them single pages instead of double sided- and not own up to it! Cos the customers won't be impressed with these mistakes!

Generally speaking as a store they're OK. However, recently just trying to speak with someone about the possible return of some office chairs (gaslift leaking) has been impossible. Long IVR wait times followed by hang-up. Emailing feedback has been no better - no response within five working days. Surely Officeworks should be doing better than this?

Had an issue with a phone I ordered online that had a manufacturer's fault. The store manager Rob was incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to get it all sorted out and refunded for me despite not being bought from their store. Thanks for the great service.

Zero printers in stock. The only staff member on the floor was chatting with a customer about surfing and not really helping anyone. Usually staff here are really helpful.

Ordered a laptop weeks ago. First I got told Monday then Thursday. Now Monday again. I've had no emails about my order and no explanation just a tracking number. It's a laptop they claimed to have in stock. This is rubbish. I understand it's not Mona Vale branches fault but don't select pick up in future people. It's clearly too difficult to organise. Just have it delivered.

Also I never realized how much I needed a laptop till I didn't have one
