The worst customer service I have ever encountered at an Officeworks store.
I needed 2 things - a power bank and a portable storage unit. I told him I knew very little about either product. He then proceeded to use every technical word imaginable without actually answering my questions or helping me decide on the best options. In an effort to get the answers I needed without listening to anymore dribble I asked him very specific closed questions hoping to elicit yes/no responses. He actually SIGHED haha! I sent him away and texted my daughter who sent me a link… easy!
Do yourself a favour and stay away from this Officeworks store.
Horrible staff, kept eyeing me down like I was about to steal. In the end they wanted to check my bag and found nothing. Train your employees.
Don’t have a huge range and the service isn’t great. The people who work here clearly aren’t happy to be there.
I am in shock after the service I have just received for a man called Leslie. Leslie was called multiple times to come behind the counter to assist me. When he finally came I explained to him my partners AirPods were not charging correctly and that they are still under warranty. Leslie repeatedly and loudly stated that the AirPods were “absolutely disgusting” and that he would not touch them. (The AirPods are not disgusting and are just a bit grubby looking from general wear and tear). Leslie then refused to take the AirPods as he said they were visibly damaged. I challenged him about this and eventually proved that they were not damaged and that was just the design of them. Leslie still refused to take the AirPods and constantly interrupted me until I just gave up and left. Terrible service.
Just went to print and stuck with the machine! Customer service is Amazing! Promptly served; really impressed! Small Officeworks but greater service
Never in my life I’ve been insulted by a customer service attendant in such an agressive way.
Please check on your staff’s anger issues before hiring them, if they treat people like this they shouldn’t be facing the public.
Never coming back and strongly unrecommend this place.
Amazing staff and quick service, the lady working on the printing section this morning is so kind and sweet; she is superb quick and professional. Thanks to her! I waited at Pitt office works for 15 mins just to hear that thy are over booked; just 10 mins away for my printing done in 5 mins ; 500 stars to hunter street office
Went in on a Monday to have paperwork bounded. Great job so went back Thursday to get same job done. Final product was poorly done and was charged extra. The girl serving was rude and that I was wrong and the person who did it previously was wrong. Came to complain to manager, he didn’t know which price I should have been charged. Same girl unfortunately served me again and was obviously p’d off she had to apologise. Bad attitude. Last time I go to o that one. Monday staff were v good.
Printers not working but the workers are eager and reciprocal to help any customers in need rather than gossiping
The lady at the print and copy area was very rude. I asked a question and she answered in such a rude and mannerless way. She did not bother to explain her answer to my queries. Very rude tone
Madhu served me today around 2pm. She is grossly incompetent and sold me the wrong item after far too long to find various wrong items despite me directing her to the item I was looking for on the Officeworks website.
Prices are incredibly good, but the guy who served me was quite rude and unhelpful. Not sure why he had such a poor attitude.
Conor is really helpful as well as humble and Zack is a good-honest teammate. Helped me without bothering in printing, laminating, and finding things out. Work Ethic- i can see.
Poor customer service, most of the staff are lazy assess they don’t bother theirselves to help and to provide any assistance. They don’t deserve any stars. Added one star just to post their rubbish publicly.:)
DON't BOTHER WITH PREMIUM DELIVERY
I paid extra for same day delivery. I got an SMS saying the item had been dispatched. Then at the end of the day I got an SMS saying the item had been delayed and would be delivered in the next 24-48 hours!
My order was over the delivery threshold for free delivery. I paid for Premium delivery, and I got nothing for that money. It would have been free if I had selected tomorrow's date! Instead now it will be delivered outside their ordinary timeframe based on their own SMS.
They have taken away my opportunity to go and get the item in person by wasting the whole day before letting me know that the item was unable to be delivered in accordance with the service that I had paid for.
If you can't provide the service, then don't offer it and charge people for it. Terrible customer service. It will now take me longer to call them to sort it out than it would have taken to go and get the item. Don't bother with premium delivery.
Absolutely dismal service. So rude. Asian woman with the acne was absolutely atrocious. Girl with pride keychain wouldn’t help and whole store atmosphere was - leave you to die as you try and configure everything yourself. Have never been to an officeworks with such poor service and professional attitude. Will avoid like the plague
Click & collect took me sorted it out by myself from 4 - 6pm and I had to spent more than $1,000 for that purchased on the phone only, oh yes! And this did not include the time that I had to spent to waiting for the phone more than 20 mins.
But thanks for the customer service on the phone to help me out of this issue.
I did not regret for my patience but at least it will be first and last time for me to do the business with this branch.
Went to pick up a click and collect order. Completely ignored by staff at designated collection point in spite of many of them seeing I was waiting in that section and nobody coming to attend to me. Poor experience.
I wish there was an option to give ZERO star. Worst ever customer service, speaking in language other than English in front of customers and not even acknowledging a customer at the counter. Are you serious?
I had gone there to get less than 3 pages printed and this lady at the counter kept forcing everyone to use the self serve. I don't really go to Officeworks that often so I didn't want to take the card (you have to put in like $5/10 a minimum or something, also you can't withdraw money as per the girl at the counter, so why you forcing me to pay extra when I am only here for like 2-3 pages which will cost me less than 50 cents) hence, I told her I don't want to use the Self serve and then she goes that you would need to wait. I advised her that I can wait and its not an issue. Then when she was serving me, she LITERALLY argued with me for not using Self Serve. She was extremely rude, lack customer service, no smile, attitude on cloud nine for doing a favor on customer. Its time for Officeworks to train their staff on basic skills to do their job such as CUSTOMER SERVICE.
