Officeworks Hornsby reviews
55 I like to give a big thank you to office works Hornsby staff. They are nice and customer focused. I lost my passport recently in Hornsby office works but I didn't even realize it. The staff found it and sent it to police station then Police can find me and gave it back to me.
Thanks for your honest and excellent customer services.
They wouldn't let me use the toilet even though I really needed to.the employes smelt like my great aunt (bad) and there was a screaming baby in the lift and nobody shut it up I burped in its face and it just cried louder.also slmebodyhad written the n-word with in the section with the pens and it triggered me as a woman of colour.never going here again
TOTALLY DISFUNCTIONAL
I have been there several times and thought they never really have what you want, but it is currently handy as far as location goes. Ordered some stuff on line and arranged "click & collect". Part of the order was "in-store" and the other in the loading dock area. So, went to the loading dock area and there was no parking - no click and collect designated area just more cars wanting to park there instead of the lower level. They really do need to organise themselves better, run click and collect from an accessible area where there is designated parking and what was the point in messaging them I was coming (which was their instruction).
It all just seems like "disorganised mayhem" to me. There is another wasted 1 hour of my life that I will never get back. I won't be rushing back and looking for another store, possibly better organised as my home store for "click & collect"
I just wanted to applaude Emily as she was happily helpful to this 70 year old when unsure of technology. Thank you Emily, as a face of Officeworks, you shine!
Had a fine experience shopping, however, at checkout, employee takes my items out of my basket and into a box, except he somehow didn't put all items in, and after checking my receipt, I ended up not getting $23 worth of items. Ridiculous.
It's a pretty big store and they usually have everything I'm looking for. I go there to print out documents and the price is reasonable, cheaper than having a printer at home for me. They're open until 9pm on weeknights which is great.
Says one thing on the phone and acts another way when visited. Warranty products aren’t honoured the way as other Officeworks outlets do. Disgraceful. This kind behaviour brings the consumer trust on Officeworks. Wasted 1.5hr of mine, and they debated on the minor variations of a M7 monitor with me and even went to the lengths to prove that the power cable used tied up may cause product faults. Absolutely time waster and I wouldn’t recommend them at all.
Photo printing quality is far below expectation. Probably no quality control and/or poor training/knowledge
I have a conference to display at - I ordered a banner on Saturday, it was ready Monday. I put in an order for flyers and they had them done in a day. And the prices are pretty good too.
Tommy from the print department is my hero.
The technology doesn't work. It never works. One hundred percent of the times I have gone here, I have been disappointed.
Never pick up their phone line no matter the day or time. Parking is a nightmare cause there are limited spots and it is so tight. Not a very good location.
Easy and quick printing from the kiosk Mandy and ash were provided great customer service and were professional
Helpful personnel and good variety of products. It also has 2 levels of undercover parking.
Went to get some photos printed but the machine broke with only like 3 photos left.the store closed but a worker said if we waited outside he would print them for me.great service, ended up getting a whole other amount plus the 3 i was missing.
Asked for two posters signed by a very famous Australian racing driver to be laminated on a Tuesday night. I was told the laminating machine has to warm up and it will be about forty minutes before it will be ready. I left the posters with the store, as I couldn't wait, and left my contact details with them. A few hours later, just before closing time, I received a text message that they had been laminated. The next time I could get to their store was on the following Thursday evening, which I did. When I asked for the said posters, and explained them in detail, an extremely uninterested employee looked for them in an extremely casual manner. Even after explaining that they were approximately A3 in size, he looked at and under boxes about the same size as a mobile phone would come in. At this point I became suspicious as he continued to look in ridiculous places. After some time, and after he asked another equally uninterested employee, who had no idea, and had never seen my posters, he shrugged his shoulders and said can't find them, along with a pathetic sorry. I gave them my contact details and told them to alert me if they find my property. Well, still waiting and have not heard a word yes or no. It is very unprofessional that completed jobs do not have a dedicated area to be stored ready for pickup. I can only conclude through the very strange behavior of the staff, and that my property was signed as I stated earlier, by a very famous and well known Australian, that someone just may have taken advantage of this opportunity. Don't think I will trust my property with this store again, and to my detriment, lesson learned. Interesting reading many of this stores reviews, many being negative, that there hasn't been any reply's by management to try to improve their conduct. But after this experience one should not be surprised. On a positive note, there are plenty of other of their stores available, try them, just not this one.
This is about Click and Collect, as I ordered something online and paid for it, and print a copy of the collection page.
I park on sub-level 2, and get the lift to go to the store which is on the ground floor. Of course there is no-one around to ask where the click and collect place is. After waiting about 5 minutes, I went to the cashier to ask where it is, and am told that it is on sub-level 1.
So I ask why there is no mention on the email collection page that collection is on sub-level 1, and why there is no notice in the parking level as to where the collection point is. No answer.
So I go down to that level, search around to find the collection point, only to find a closed door with no-one around, but a notice to say ring the bell, and someone will come down (Presumably from ground level where I already had been).
It took a few minutes for someone to come and open the door, by which time I am fuming, since I could have simply walked into the store on the ground level, picked my item from the shelf, paid and left, in a tenth of the time.
The lady who eventually found my item to be picked up was polite to me.
I was thinking that the system must have been organised by a consultancy, or a committee.
A system I will never use again.
I always have a great experience at this Officeworks - a nice tidy store with friendly staff. I had all my wedding menus printed here last night - the quality was excellent and price was incredibly reasonable.
VERY RUDE costumer service. I called them just to ask if my item is ready for pick up, just for confirmation before i drive there and get it. The guy there was very rude! He had stated “Well then there’s your answer”, i was politely communicating with him. However he just had to make it a very difficult conversation! Definitely will be sharing my experience to my families and friends! Worse costumer service! Should train your workers better! It is not hard to be polite and nice when the other person is being polite back!
Terrible WiFi which makes it extremely hard to print photos from your phone. Not enough parking! Sufficient range for a smaller size format Officeworks store. Staff are friendly.
I normally don't prefer to write negative reviews however this time I am happy to make an exception. I was told that my item will be put on hold for me till the date I had requested on the phone however upon arrival at the store the item was apparently put off hold and out of stock! The best they could do was tell me to drive to another officeworks for a click and collect. Very sour taste in the mouth. Extremely disappointed and will be taking my business elsewhere in the future. Terrible experience
