Officeworks Coffs Harbour

I wanted to purchase 2 smart watches and phones for myself and my elderly mother. Andrew was very rude and unhelpful and made us feel like we were interrupting his day. He offered no help or advice when asked. After putting up with his sighs and eye rolls I told him Harvey Norman offered help with the devices he shrugged his shoulders to indicate he didn't care. With that we left and bought the same products from Harvey Norman. Tip to Officeworks management, Get rid of staff that are only there for the pay packet, Andrew clearly doesn't care if Officeworks makes a profit or not.

No customer service at all from this store. Asked the guy behind the printing counter how to go about printing documents. He pointed to the new self printers and said "over there". We were lucky enough to get assistance from a lovely young guy who was a customer at the store. Would not recommend this store to anyone.

Great store, great customer service, is at Homebase, very convenient, plenty of parking is wheelchair accessible. I always check them out before I go to JB hi-fi. They do also sell different items. Worth a look.

Officeworks at Coffs Harbour is a small store compared to other Officeworks but the layout of the store is similar to other stores.

There are plenty of free parking available.

Rude staff would rather not serve customers and say they are busy so they can talk about hungry jacks zoomers
Takes ages to pick up phone no service like others you just walk around aimlessly with no help while dead eyed masked staff do nothing don't bother going here if u can avoid it

Disgusting service. My husband who has just had open heart surgery a month ago asked could the male attendant at this store lift down a printer for him as he is not supposed to lift anything over 3kg atm and was told he was not allowed to help. Then the manager came along and told him the same thing and he had to get it down and carry it out himself. Last time we will ever spend a cent in this shop. No wonder people buy online.

Spent around 40 minutes here, looking through lap tops and tablets and was offered no assistance or service. Bought elsewhere at the same price. I run a business that also has to keep competitive pricing on power tools, sometimes service is the only difference you can bring to the table. When I eventually went looking for someone staff were of little use, not knowing product or helpful, will now move my business purchases to office choice. Thanks

Very pleased with the service received from the lovely printing people, made printing photos very quick and easy. Great to see them always wanting to help

I needed some prints done and I live about an hour away. A young man in the print department did them for me in a couple of hours and saved me two hours travel. Didn’t get his name but he was just great! So grateful!

Really happy with the quick turnaround times for a large poster. Was expecting to wait over a week, instead it was done in a few hours, fantastic!

The staff in the print part is an angry impression, unkind in speech, and gives no explanation.just said "go to k-mart that printer broke".

Small store " when i ask where a item could be found the staff just pointed to a spot in store "lowzy customer support"

Very pleased with the customer service skills of the staff at this officeworks. You aren't speaking to a salesman, you are speaking to someone who you can actually have a geniune conversation with, and that makes for great customer environment in my mind

Very pleased with the help I received in getting photos off my ipad developed. Very considerate and helpful staff.

Rather small and well organised store for a pop-up location. A lot smaller then the homebase officeworks but still has great variety and very competitive pricing!

Bought a set of headphones online, with the guarantee that they would be delivered in 2 days. Once the sale was processed, the delivery date was adjusted by 1 week because they were not in stock. However, having not received them I checked the delivery date again and now it's gone up to 1 month. I received no notification that they changed the delivery date. Went to check the website and they're still promising 2 days delivery on the same product. It's very dishonest and misleading. Bought the product instead from Amazon, who also promised 2 days to deliver and actually did it!

Recently purchased a desk and found the service terrible I asked a ream member to find out if they had any of the particular desk she said she had three “ but would have to get someone to look “ and then looked at me I am sure waiting for me to say don’t worry about it I asked her to get someone to look It clearly said on display 3 boxes and $189 when she brought out our two boxes I asked her to double check if this was right I walked to the display and she said she had scanned it and “it was right $ 189 “ she did not walk to the display had her back to me and while talking to me did not turn to face me
We were directed by this team member to the front of the store but we still had shopping to do in store she did come back and tell us where she had put our 2 boxes We then went to the front of the store to pay for the desk (2 boxes) and the paper reem A different team member then scanned our items which was not a smooth transaction then a third team member helped to our car which was good service We got our purchases in the car and I was uneasy as the total did not marry up to the displayed prices and I was sure I read 3 boxes we live 1 1/2 hours away so I wanted to be sure I went back into the store the greeter greeted me (no value in this) as when she said oh you forgot something and I said no I think I have been sold the wrong desk She just let me walk up the back no assistance and when I asked for help I had to walk to her
My concern is 3 team members allowed me to walk out with insufficient product and to give me the excuse the first team member was learning is unacceptable I can read and I read 3 boxes and when I asked to check she assured me it was right I did need the third box
No one asks to assist they just greet this is reactive selling their is no proactive selling and by just greeting the customer is not building a relationship with the customer
Every interaction with a customer is an opportunity to build your personal brand and the brand of Office Works I did need a chair and filing cabinets I will be going elsewhere no add value if I am going to take the time to enter your store and complete a face to face interaction show me the respect that deserves
