What has happened to this store? Appalling service and in serious need of retail customer service training. I was told I could not have a refund for a faulty item because the item was not in its original packaging, even though I had the receipt proving it was 3 months old and still under warranty. The staff had no idea about Australian Consumer Laws and handled the situation poorly. Really unfortunate as I used to love shopping at this store.
Arrogance and attitude permeate this store. Does the fact that you have 2.2 stars on Google not trigger the need for change? I went to buy a $180 flip chart stand your staff member told me tou didn’t have, yet there it was. Then I got told to go get a trolley to take it to the counter because the staff member “wasn’t real keen” on doing it. The worst Officeworks experience I’ve ever had
Visited this place a few times, waited in line for 45 mins once, to be told the printer doesn't work?
The usual prints I get are $4 each a2 size, then we get told they should be $12, to return with the prints to be told $23 each? , honestly this place is a joke. Avoid!
If you want to print large sized documents, be prepared to wait a LONG time because even though their store is huge and has a decent amount of people working…. There’s only one person to help with printing and it’s very inefficient. I had to make 2 trips just to print out 3 A0 pages.
There dumped trolleys don’t get picked up 3 weeks and 3 phone calls to bondi junction still here dumped very poor service office don’t works!

They had one price on the display phone but charged me $200 than the displayed price. Not good
Shuts early, online and doors say open till 6. Myself and another customer were trying to get it at 5.50pm but all doors were closed
Staff service disgusting. Bought a large heavy chair that your staff at the store dropped at my car cut the box open and left me to do the rest. Seriously customer serve NIL well done

Unfortunately this store gives poor service to customers who need specific information about the products in store, specifically scanners. Manners are severely lacking, and I wonder if this is to compensate for the lack of knowledge on the product. This afternoon, this was deflected to me, and the assistant that I asked, announced pretty much to the whole store that someone who has poor knowledge of scanners requires assistance in aisle H. If she only knew that I have 3 document scanners at the present time (HP, Epson and Brother), but I just had to replace one of them, and I needed one that can save directly to a USB device.
One shiny star for the great customer service at the counters, though. They are hard working, very helpful, and always courteous
Very poor service. I came to the store at 8: 40 pm for a few page scanning. They refuse to do. A guy says they don't do any printing service after 8: 30 pm. I told him where it's been mentioned. What is the point then to close the store at 9 pm if you can't provide the service. Very disappointed.
My experience over some years has been very good. Considering what the staff are probably paid I think their work ethic is good and I find them on the whole very helpful.
Avoid this store, staff have no idea what’s going on. Hunter Street in the City is much better.
I phoned ahead to get some passport photos done for my 7 month old child early in the morning. The staff at officeworks told me we do passports for children and now is a great time to come in. Once I arrived I was told the camera isn’t working and we don’t do passport photos for children.
Day 1) I went into get a photo printed, given it was busy (each customer seemed to take 10 mins or more to deal with), when I was served, I was told my image would take 5 - 10 mins, 25 mins later, I decided to join the cue again to find out if my image was ready, to which they then told me it would be an hour because they had more images than previously accounted for in the cue. My question being why didn’t anyone bother to let me know prior? It was not an isolated incident as I witnessed this happen to a few people while I was waiting to be served. Several people were cueing to purchase something only to find out after standing there for a while that they were in the wrong cue.
Day 2 I return to pick up my image, only to find out that it has not been processed yet because they don’t have the correct type of paper and apparently will be contacted at a later date when they have processed my image. Unfortunately there is nothing less than a 1 star rating.
There seems to be a lot of employees doing nothing. We waited 20 minutes for a click and collect and literally watched the 9 staff members milling around. Be prepared to wait

One staff member (I think his name was Eitan) at the print section, printed cards for me was so helpful and full of knowledge. There were a few issues with my job. He seemed to know exactly what he was dealing with. Explained to me what's happening. He also acknowledged and helped other customers while doing my job, which I thought was amazing. Thank you!
Terrible service as per usual. All photo printing services were down so I couldn’t print my headshot for an important audition. Staff were friendly but incompetent and did not know what they were doing. It was not the individual’s faults as it looked like they simply hadn’t been given proper training and were doing the best they could. I asked for 8 x 10 printing which was printed as an A4. They didn’t put the copies in an officeworks envelope as per usual after printing and instead gave me a plastic sleeve after I asked for something to put them in. Very disappointed. Horrible experience as usual.
