Officeworks Alexandria reviews
82The staff are unhelpful and the prices are high. The print shop is understaffed and takes forever.
The photo machines have removed the edit options… so no longer can you change the colour, tone, filter and critically… the brightness. The photos generally come out darker from their machine, therefore need to lighten and make any other amends at home prior.
Have to visit at odd hours, otherwise it’s a very long wait to have the bigger size photos printed off and paid for, at the counter.
Every single time I come to this officeworks to print things, I end up waiting in line forever. There is always only one person helping at the printing section, even though there’s so many staff just roaming around or doing nothing. One time, I waited 45 mins with only 4 people in front of me. To give context, yesterday when I went to the bank to process a payment, there were 5 people in front of me and I only waited 8 minutes. This is absolutely ridiculous, please staff more people at the printing section.
Waited 30 minutes for assistance, even after asking a staff member. Others just doing menial tasking and looking at people. Ended up buying my product at Good Guys
Go to this store if you want to wait nearly an hour to print 1 x A4 document on the self serve printers, because the machines just don’t work. Go to this store if you want to be ignored by staff (there’s plenty of staff on shift, they just chat and laugh amongst themselves and do their own thing, they let their? Friends? Push in, play on their phones, I once saw one crying in an aisle? Etc etc.). When you finally do get the attention of staff, they miserably huff and puff in your face and slam things around on the counter. Go to this store if you’d like to further waste your time relaying this to the hopeless store manager just to be told “ok thanks. ” My advice? Invest in your own printer, buy textas from somewhere else, borrow reams of paper from the neighbour, drive 30 minutes further to the next store, make it a day trip if you will. Anything is better than Officeworks Alexandria.
Went to print a birthday card for my granddaughter at print section after struggling to print it for so long at self serve. Redhead girl at print was very patient and good at her job.
No Customer Service At All, Went there first thing in morning on friday 25/08 & girl on counter must have had a bad night so there was no hello or nothing just a dull sad face.
Worst service from Anna.
So rude! Won't be coming back to this office works again.
They don’t like to deal with clients, all in bad mood, don’t pay attention, don’t make any effort to be nice.
Never more I come back at this place.
I had terrible printing done by a man working from his home, he bragged about 27 years experience, so i was desperate for printing done and ended up at office works.the staff were super friendly and i got the work done immediately.they came through and for half the price, and any misprints i was not charged for.don't underestimate Officeworks for printing
Very nice shop but photo section always a long queue.staffs were trying to do their best but just lack of resources.wait 45mins just for a passport photo! Very bad experience!
Inadequate staffing. I had to wait an unacceptable length of time for someone to even look at an issue on the self-print station. If you're going to insist on people using self-print, you can at least make sure the darned things work.
Purchased the Ashton Executive Desk together with Ashton 3 Drawer. I live in an apartment with lift access. Items arrived and were left on ground floor. In the end, I had to move a total of 77kg of furniture home by myself. I paid $50 for delivery service and was not advised during check out that they not deliver bulky items upstairs with lift access. It was also not mentioned anywhere on their delivery policy on their website. Thank you so much for the service. I paid for delivery service but I might as well go n pick up from the store since I need to carry / move them upstairs anyways.
Went to buy a storage box - literally every one on display was already broken. Selling products that can’t even stand up to getting to the store, and displaying products that aren’t fit to sell. No pride, no care for the customer.
Good parking, and convenient to get in. That's a great range of stationery. The printing is a bit sub par to be honest. But most people wouldn't know better I guess.
Worst Customer Service Photo printer doesn't work and staff too lazy to tell the customer, wish I could give it a 0
One of the slowest printing services on the planet. Short staff, cue, people don't know what to do. Simply terrible.
The automatic printer is always out of order.
Unfortunately in the area is the only one.
Prepare your self, get a chair, snacks, blanket, because you gonna stay there all day, just for one page.
Good luck
Came here to get passport photos done.
They were too small (which I found out during my Auspost appointment) a day later.
Came back here with the correct Ausport requirements to get them changed. They reprinted the SAME size, to which I said was wrong. Employee then asked me what to do.
Do not get passport photos printed from here.
Waited 45mins to get served on a Saturday at 1: 30pm (so when it is peak hour in stores) and only 2 team members at the printing service area. Question to the managers: Where is your staff?
I never had a bad experience at Officeworks but today was the worst customer service I received and no one apologised. I won't go back to this store again.
Terrible service. Huge waiting time especially in the printing section. Each customer is take more than half an hour which is ridiculous. Train your staff better.
