Off Ya Tree Newtown

I had the best experience with Sarah at Off Ya Tree Newtown. The shop is really well set out, clean, and very well organized.

As a person who is a bit of a germaphobe and also stresses about the cleanliness in the sterile spaces of piercing shops I was well and truly satisfied with this store in comparison with other places I have been to.

When I first spoke to Sarah she immediately understood what I wanted unlike many other places I have been to. I felt comfortable that she was going to be able to do the jobs I wanted done and she did, extremely efficiently. She helped me with my jewelry selection (which has worked out wonderfully).

In regards to the piercings and jewelry changes she performed for me on the day - Sarah is incredibly professional yet extremely compassionate, caring and gentle in her manner. I cannot recommend her highly enough. I have had many piercings done over the years but I genuinely have had the greatest experience with her.

I don't normally leave reviews for stores but I felt that this experience actually really deserved one.

Love it! Brynn helped me massively. I pierced my ears in South Korea and it got infected. Brynn helped me and explained me everything very carefully after changing the jewelry. Also there was another girl in the store and she was awesome! We even had a small chat about beauty stereotypes! Love it?

Got a bunch of piercings here from Brynn, she's amazing! All the staff are extremely helpful and wholesome!

Got 3 piercings from Brynn they were really sweet and made alot of jokes they also didn’t murder me or anything which was nice

Stoked with the chest dermal I had done here! The piercer I saw was Brynn.
I hadn't had a dermal before, only more traditional piercings, so I was a bit nervous, but she helped me feel comfortable and calm during the process. The dermal turned out great, and has healed perfectly, I'm really pleased with the results!
Brynn gave me great aftercare advice which helped make the healing process so cruisey.
They had a nice range of jewellery for me to choose from too!

Best place to get a piercing in Sydney! Staff are absolutely lovely and helpful, I'd recommend to everyone, no doubts!

Sarah is honestly a godsend!
Called up needing a piecing removed asap as it was swelling and had become painful.she was so helpful in the removal and was so kind about the whole thing. If you’re thinking about getting pierced I would absolutely recommend this off ya tree and Sarah!

Brynn pierced me and they were an absolute legend. I was really nervous at first but after talking to them I felt so comfortable. The piercing looks great and Brynn you’re amazing!

Ok so i don’t like leaving bad review because i do like this store i’ve bought some pillows and other bits from here and the lady’s are always very nice however my issue is with the piercings.i decided to get my belly done and all went well (i thought) until it was healing very slowly.i went back and asked her if it looked okay and if i should get a longer bar as it was very tight and she just dismissed it as being normal.i was following the aftercare she gave me using theirs spray but i realised it had some harsh ingredients in it.i switched to sterile saline and saw some improvement but it still didn’t look right.i went to another (very reputable piercer) to check it and he confirmed my suspicions saying my anatomy was wrong and shouldn’t been pierced at all he said i could leave it if i wanted but there was a high chance of rejection.i have since taken it out and realised it was barely even pierced into my belly button in the first place.i feel this is very irresponsible if the piercer to not have proper knowledge of anatomy and placement.so i would not recommend getting anything other than and ear piercing done here if anything.

Beautiful staff attitude, so lovely and extremely quick booking on walk in. 100% would recommend, extremely professional as well when it comes to piercing and the placement of my brow piercing and the healing were both excellent <3

Gt my first two piercings last Friday at off ya tree newtown. Got a nose and ear piercing done with Sarah, she was really professional and explained everything real well. Hardly felt any pain! Was decently priced and all round easy experience, defs coming back next time I need something done! Cheers

Cheap piercing, expensive jewellery, compulsory to purchase their jewellery for a piercing. Priced at each single piercing no discount for a pair. A little arrogant about things, but only due to the firm but true belief that they did things the right way.

Very happy with the piercings done by Brynn! Their manner is lovely and I was at ease the whole time. They talked me through each step and always ensured that I was okay with the next step before proceeding. Brynn clearly puts a lot of care into their work, and the piercings themselves are clean and even. I would absolutely return.

Had a great experience here! Came in last week to get some piercings done during the $6 piercing promotion but came too late unfortunately they were booked out for the day but the person working was super nice about it and told me what days and times they were open if i wanted to come in a different day, so came in today to get them done and the piercer was really friendly! I think their name was Brynn? They were super lovely and let me know everything that was happening during getting the piercing done and was very informative about the aftercare, thank you so much! ^^

I’ve been pierced and had my jewellery changed by Brynn a couple of times and she is so warm and friendly. Super communicative and consent focused. Would recommend her to all of my pals wanting to get stabbed.

Very disappointing I drove 1 hour for $5 piercings only to be told we can’t get in. Called beforehand a fair few times and no answer.
