Ocean Front Motel at Blue Bay

Highly recommend this motel. The view is incredible, our room was clean and tidy also. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, absolutely will visit again.

The top floor, the ocean facing and the jacuzzi outside on the balcony were all just worth it! The view, the sound, the accessibility to places and everything else including the staff were just a great experience.

Lovely stay! Staff was very accommodating to us with a later check out and a spot to sit while we waited for our ride back to Sydney. Room was very clean as well! Bit of a walk to any shops although that wasn’t an issue for us at all!

We were taken to the restaurant which is beneath the motel for our Anniversary with friends. The view was stunning as we were given a windows table. It is advisable to book as very popular. The toilets were clean and excessible though the back door. If you feel the cold you should take a jacket as the back door is always open.
There are two sorts of menu's, 1 you can pick 2 or 3 for a certain price. Then there is the a la carte menu. I thought personally it was a little dear for what you received, but I enjoyed the experience. The staff were very attentive and all and all we had a great day.

My partner and I loved our stay here. Stayed the weekend and didn't want to leave. Spa was relaxing.view of the beach and sunrise from our balcony was beautiful

Good location, the restaurant is excellent. A little loud in the evenings with some patrons passing by our ground floor room (#5).

We usually travel down to stay here, the room needs at least a microwave and long mirror. There isn't a hand wash in the toilet, sharing the basin in the room as well as using it for fetching water to boil for tea or coffee humm.worried about the hygiene.

Took my team here for a retirement lunch. Lovely staff, great food, reasonable prices and practically in the ocean!

Disappointed given the price paid. Upon entering the room I was blown away by the stunning view but unfortunately the floors felt gritty, but other than that, the room was quite clean.

On the second day of our stay the cleaners made up the room and by mistake left our fridge door open so stored breastmilk & food spoiled, as we did not return to our room until later that evening.

On the third day the sheets were to be changed as per motel policy. This did not happen, nor was the bar fridge restocked as advised and had previously been done the day prior.

I feel for the price paid this should not have occurred.

The ladies in reception were lovely and very welcoming and were disappointed too to receive my reports.

Great aspect overlooking the beach. Our room had a spa on the balcony. A few insects were inside so some pest spraying might be needed.

Very nice, clean and modern! Everything was tidy. Awesome view from balcony. Wifi was fantastic, worked quick, wasn’t slow. Felt pretty safe.

Staff were so nice, I had the room with the external spa and it was fantastic. Room was clean, spacious, comfy, and the view of the ocean was amazing.
Will definitely be coming back in 2023:)

Our room had a lovely view and was modern, unfortunately that's where it stopped. We had no privacy for our toilet use, a sliding swinging timber door to devide the bedroom and bathroom. No acoustic or smell barrier to the room, the pillows looked and felt like they should have been retired many years ago, wouldn't even give them to my pet to sleep on. The shower hose didn't stay attached to the fitted bracket, our showers were to say the least a fighting battle that we lost everytime. The room had makeup on the bathroom sliding door that was left unclean from previous guests. We stayed for 2 nights, first night we had a Tom cat in the internal carpark meowing all night, that kept us awake. The accommodation wasn't cheap and we believed we were getting an upmarket room that didn't meet all our expectations

Absolutely loved it! Staff were friendly, the spa on the balcony was incredible as was the view. Would definitely go back! Location of the motel was quite central and perfect for a few night's holiday
