48Great day out for all ages. Our first visit in well over 6 years, all the expansion and upgrades look great and the staff are super friendly.
Great to experience Australian wildlife. Amazed to see some African birds including ostrich. A must see if you have kids.
Always a great place to visit with the kids. Animals seem well looked after and there's lots to see in a manageable area. Great value for money. Only negative was that the toilets were a bit rough
The kangaroos had babies about 6 months ago and the joeys are starting to pop their heads put of the pouches it's such a good place to visit any time of the year!
My husband and I visited back in May with our 5 month old and absolutely loved our day at Oakvale. Our favourite was feeding the baby goats and all the birds, especially the talking dancing Galah and Sam the eclectus parrot.
This is a great park with plenty of space and very friendly staff:)
Beautiful open areas, animals well looked after. Staff friendly, clean and tidy bbq area.highly recommend oakvale farm for any age group.
It's perfect place to keep your kids occupied for a day. It's a short drive from Newcastle, Raymond Terrace or from Nelson Bay with ample parking. They have got a variety of domesticated animals that you can pet and feed. The $2 feed bags are huge and almost all the animals will accept the feed. They have got large play grounds with a variety of things to keep your kids occupied the whole day. The tractor ride though short was fun. Will consider getting a annual pass now that my kids enjoyed it.
What a brilliantly presented farm space, perfect for families of all ages. The staff were all polite and friendly and the animals are treated like family.
Cannot wait to return with my family.
Great day at Oakvale wildlife Park, with a trailer ride around the park, great coffee & food (roast beef & salad wrap, hot chips & gravy, & a donut). Enjoyed bottle feeding & given pellet food too the goats, a really great day out.
Have you ever had a customer service experience where you've walked away thinking "WOW, that was the BEST service I have ever received"? That is exactly what I experienced with every single staff member that I interacted with the last time we visited your park. As a local, we don't nearly visit your park enough but every single time it is the best day ever. We thoroughly enjoyed our day of exploring and relaxing by the splashpad for the kids to play. We already can't wait to come for our next adventure!

Great place to spend your day with or without kids. Heaps of animal interaction, wide diversity of animals presented, great friendly staff, big playdround and waterplay area.
Fantastic for all ages, had a wonderful time. Staff are friendly, helpful & knowledgeable. Entry is priced very reasonably. Highly recommend.
Awesome interaction with all the animals, get there early to feed the kanagaroos before they eat too much and ignore you ;)
So glad we took the kids lots of animals and you get to touch and hold before you even walk I the door. Lots of space to walk and run. The kids got to feed the animals and even caught 2 kangaroos have a punch on. The staff were friendly and happy to help and answer questions.

Memorable experience especially the Lemurs. Would definitely recommend the Lemur island and the guide Angus was fantastic.very knowledgeable and helpful.
Great day for the family, the children can see touch and feed the animals, and have a splash in the water park. Recommend to visit.
My 21month old and 3 year old haf a wonderful time. Staff and animal seemed happy and well provided for. Well worth.a visiy and could definitely fill a day here esp if summer and water park open.
Had an outstanding day with the family at Oakvale, there's so much to see and it's well worth spending a couple of hours there! Lots of animals for the kids to see and some amazing opportunities for them to get up close and personal with them too. Take some food & water as there's some great spots to sit back for a bite to eat. Highly recommend you come and check out Oakvale Farm.
