Oak Park Beach reviews
50Nice quiet place when everything else was busy and the kids loved it. A few rock pools to look in. Worth going there.
A very sad day without Gus the Groper. It’s a beautiful place with calm water and lots to see while snorkeling. It should however be restricted to English speaking locals who do not feel the need to kill and eat everything that moves as in their country (s) of origin. If you go to this beautiful place don’t be scared to call out the behaviours of the grubs who are not locals and think it’s ok to illegally spear and kill anything they see. You will have allot of support to deal with these third world cretans
Beautiful place for an ocean swim. We enjoyed sitting on the grassy area after our swim. Lots of people on the sandy area. Toilet block available however we didn’t use on our visit.
One of my favourite spots, the rock pool is so nice. If you get good tide, there's lots of opportunities for surfing
Rock pools and amazing beach. Good place to relax swim or surf. Next to Shelley beach and less crowded as well. Restrooms are available on site and walking path along the coast has great views.
Perfect place to have a swim or a picnic. The Rock pool is large and recently renovated.
Safe for kids and big enough for lap swimming.
Changing rooms and toilets are located on site.
Great place to swim. Water is choppy though so maybe not ideal for v.young kids & nin swimmers
Beautiful part of Sydney, Definately a hidden gem. The views are amazing! So relaxing and easy to lose time watching the waves having a feed and spending quality time with family and friends. This place holds a special place in my heart forever!
Love this place. Spent my child hood swimming here.
Learnt to surf here. Would swim behind the pool on big days and get tossed around. Great place to swim and relax.
Great spot, quaint pool and easy access to walking track, many people use it for exercise and pleasure
The perfect Ocean pool. Close to other ocean pools, bays and beaches, a beautiful walk along the coastline and a relaxed and friendly vibe. Has changerooms and toilets, and there are cafes and restaurants nearby.
Beautiful place to relax with friends and have a picnic. Absolutely magical:) I remember coming to this park as a kid over 20 years ago, nice to see it is still marvellous as always. After we finished our picnic we made sure to keep the place nice and tidy. To protect the local wildlife and sea life. #sdg14 #sdg16 #sdg7 #globalgoals30
A lovely visit today in the rare sunshine.
Plenty of people and their dogs taking advantage of the nice day.
Even a couple of people swimming.
The promenade walk was very crowded with lots of people getting their exercise.
Beautiful quiet spot with lovely ocean pool & small sandy beach for quick dip as it is rocky underfoot. Views across Port Hacking to Bundeena. Watch the little ferry go to & from Bundeena to Cronulla. Even better, hop on it. It's a wonderful short trip across the Bay. Perfect little spot, never crowded. Just relax & watch the World go by.
Great place to go scuba diving with lots of fish and different habitats to explore. Best time to dive is in morning. You also need conditions to be as calm as possible as entry and exit (although it looks fine) can be a bit dicey if waves are strong enough to push you back. That said when you get the conditions it’s a great dive and doesn’t go to deep; 10 metres is the deepest
Good size park right on the beach with a rockpool to swim in.
Good park facilities like shared BBQ's and tables to use and plenty of bins to keep the park clean and tidy. There are change rooms and toilets available as well.
Fantastic spot for swimming, relaxing in the sand or even a spot of a snorkel. You can see a few interesting sea creatures under the deep blue here. Perfect for lap swimming too.
Good and less crowded rock pool near cronulla. But watch out for sea urchins because there are lot of it attached at the wall of pools.
Great place for a picnic and a swim in the pool. Good views and walks along the Esplanade back to Cronulla.
We walked from Cronulla to Oak Park along the coastal walking path. Oak Park Beach is a great spot for families, beautiful clear water with clean WC facilities. Also grass area for picnics. Thoroughly recommend this little gem.
