Awesome pool with disability access and a pool dedicated just for walking, great for me on the road to recovery and getting my strength back up. Also it’s heated to optimal temp.

Great outdoor public pool. Place has 3 pools (50m, w5m and kids pool). The pools are heated.

Ample parking on site and plenty of shade.

God I love this pool. I drive all over the Illawarra and beyond having beautiful swims at beaches, ocean pools and public pools, but always end up relaxing back here at Oak Flats. Chilled friendly staff, clean water, lots of grass and shade. What more do we need? !

Best pool in the Shellharbour area. Always clean and well maintained.

Very disappointing to see heated pool closed for maintenance in school holidays, with no notice on website to warn people before attending.

Friendly lifeguards, clean and both pools are temperature controlled. They even answer the phone if you have a question. Something that's pretty rare these days. Also the entry price is very fair even for us full paying customers. Well done manager and team.

Great facility & great place to spend the day. There are plenty of toilets and showers, undercover seating. A BBQ for events. Open space with plenty of grass for kids to run around or sit too.

Nice clean pool, friendly staff and always someone on guard. Plenty of extras with swimming lessons and exercise.

Oak flats pools employees kicked 3 under aged kids out for wearing “inappropriate swimmers” and for filming them selves while dancing.

Nice and close, has heated 25m pool and 50m cold water as well as kids wading pool
Currently has well organised Covid-19 restrictions and social distancing in place, bookings essential for lap swimming whilst adhering to social distancing. Temperature of the pool is a nice 27/28 degrees

As of 15/2/22 no longer have to book, QR Code on entry a must, pools are nice and clean.
Temp difference between 25m and 50m was 8 degrees
25m was 34 degrees, to hot for lap swimming
50m was 27 degrees perfect for swimming laps

I have been swimming for almost 30 years and visited a lot of public pools, without a doubt Oak Flats is the best facility I have attended with great parking spaces and very friendly staff.

Yes I have been quite a lot of times and I brought a yearly pass and we have not been able to use it because of the lockdown! But now they have just opened again! ️? And the great thing is that the pools are heated by gas not my gas but naturel gas and solar power energy from above in the form of the sun but was really given by the real Son ️yes He deserves a heart ️ because He holds all things together amazing ️His plan for your life!

Both heated pools now, great when minimal people there, use this and Warilla frequently, both very clean pools!

Clean, good sized pools.
Toddlers who go in the kiddy pool are free along with their adults!
Wish they had more shaded parts of the bigger pools.

Very big pools, one temp ontrolled and other open to atmosphere. Plenty of space to sit and relax, after swimming you can play cricket, as cricket nets and ground just opposite of it.

What a fabulous little pool! Not too many people, choice of different pools and easy to find a spot in the shade. The toddler pool was fantastic for the little ones!

Lovely, clean outdoor pools (25 and 50 and baby) surrounded by parkland. $4 entry for an adult! Check it out.

Can get very busy and difficult to get a lane, however water is always clean and warm and lifeguards are fantastic.
