30Fantastic Vegan spot! We are so glad we came here for brunch. We stayed down near Central Station but were headed to Taronga Zoo but went out of the way for Miss Sina. And we are GLAD we did. Definitely a must go spot for any vegans.
Has Covid taught us nothing about the importance of basic hygiene? The baked goods are placed on stands at the entrance where everyone stands, breathing and talking and hair flicking right over the food Not at all a germaphobe but it's just SO unappetizing
This place is great for vegan and gluten free friends alike. My husband is vegan and I’m gluten free. Everything is vegan and there are many gluten free options. This is just a small shop but they do hot food options. Tried the Eggplant Parmi Sandwich (vegan, not gf). Tasted great! Good coffee too. They have gluten and gluten free pastries separated.
Very friendly service at this very compact venue. I ordered a small flat-white coffee, a German Cheese Toastie, and a blueberry muffin. $25, not cheap, but reasonable given the location and quality of the items. I was impressed with all of the items, the toastie was perfectly toasted, the sauerkraut adding its distinctive flavour. The muffin was not too dry, not too moist, but just right. It also featured tangy lemon icing. Recommended.
The danishes are incredible. The pastry is light and flaky but not dry. My favourite place for danishes. The coffee is good too. Always nice on a cool morning.
Best vegan bakery in Sydney. I just wish the Surry Hills store would be as big as Marrickville so they can offer the same range of pastries and a bigger selection for brunch. The food and service is always fantastic! Highly recommend.
I can’t believe I’m saying this. But this “eggplant” sandwich was exceptional. So fresh and good. Glad to finally find a good vegan bakery in Surry hills. Can’t wait to try everything else Miss Sina offers
The taste really surprised me. The food is good and very well prepared and taste. The only detail is that because it was Saturday it was very busy and they didn't have enough staff. We had to wait for a table, we cleaned our table because there was no one to do it and our order took a long time, some people arrived first and others later so we were waiting.
Absoluelty amazing. Saving animals lives, one pastry at a time! Vegan business owners are modern day super heroes!
Very nice staff. There’s outside seating which is really enjoyable on a nice day, especially that the street is pretty quiet.
The cakes are very tasty. I didn’t realise they were vegan, which I didn’t expect because the cakes taste great! Coffee is good too.
Simply put, the best vegan and gluten free desserts in all of the land. Lovely service keeps me coming back, and amazing weekly specials always guarantee a nice surprise. Thanks for feeding my belly:)
It can be hard to find good, gluten free treats (beyond the classic brownie), so it’s SO exciting to be able to choose from literally anything on the menu at Nutie.
So many vegan and dairy free options too!
One of my absolute favorite places to go! Nutie are amazing! They offer such a wide range of sweet treats and savory too. The staff are always so wonderful & they are constantly bringing new and exciting things to their menu. HIGHLY recommend!
As a vegan I was appalled by the customer service at this place. (Well, the fact that customer service just doesn't exist). Twice now I have gone here, waited in line and been completely ignored. I can't speak for the Balmain store, but I will not be returning to SURRY HILLS, where they do not care about customers.
Decent vegan donuts! Presentation is outstanding

We usually go to Balmain but had brunch here before lockdown and it was the most delicious gluten free food ever.
I LOVE NUTIE! Amazing place to go if you are coeliac - the chocolate chip cookies are to die for!
One of the best vegan restaurants in town.
Loved the food and service. Can’t wait to go back again.
The first time here and I loved it. My friends come quite regularly.
The menu is pretty good. More brekkie choices than I expected. Fresh taste, good portions
Excellent service, and it’s nice that they have more tables outside.
Always a 5 Star Experience. Nutie is my favourite cafe in Sydney. They have the best vegan treats I have ever had and always have fun additions to their menu for the special seasons like Easter, Halloween, Mothers Day etc. Love the staff and really appreciate their friendliness and candour. Both Balmain and Surry Hills locations are fab. Highly recommend you head to Surry Hills for their amazing breakfast/lunch menu too! Attached is a pic of some of their 2021 Easter Treats.
