I Had an inspection done by this company on a new build in West Ryde.the report was done hastily and there were significant items missed during the inspection.when I emailed them and asked for explanation, I was told that "Have no idea why you think the builder will rectify any of these defects – the longer the list the less likely he will look at it. Good luck with that. " i then called the company and spoke to Dan who was condescending, smart mouthed and rude.my concern with this company is that their work is poor and that when asked about "what else they might have missed" that i didn't see or point out to them, they just attack the customer.my advice is to find an actual inspector who knows what they are doing and avoid this company at all costs!

Dan was prompt to investigate a serious building defect and provided a very thorough report for NCAT with subsequent follow-ups. His inspection services are quite expensive but were necessary in the circumstances and are highly recommended.

I sent him my NCAT information at lunchtime, he came back to me in the afternoon with detailed and valuable advice/comments. Dan is certainly an expert on home and building issues. He is also a very nice person. I will definitely recommend him to everyone who needs his help.

I had a terrible experience with this company's building and pest report service. The customer experience was shockingly poor, and the inspector failed to provide any meaningful answers to our personalised questions. Despite being assured that our concerns would be addressed, the inspector simply referred to the standards without actually answering our questions. Frankly, the service was a complete waste of money and time, offering little value. Zero star if possible.

I had a terrible experience and was very disappointed with their services, and I do not recommend them. First of all, their communication was terrible. I had to constantly follow up. To make matters worse, they were late for the scheduled appointment. I had an agent waiting for them. This was very unprofessional and disrespectful of their clients' time.

To top it all off, they were more expensive than other inspection services I had looked into. Their report was delayed, and when I finally received it, we needed to seek other inspections to get a report about termites.

Overall, my experience with Building Inspections was a complete disappointment. Their poor communication, lateness, lack of attention to detail, bad attitude, and high prices left us feeling frustrated and dissatisfied. I highly recommend looking elsewhere for your property inspection needs.

We were recommended by a friend to use them for buyer building and pest inspection, we were disappointed with their service.

When I pay someone for something, I expect them to deliver promptly a quality product and also being respectful in their communications. I can say with confidence that the only criteria they met was delivering promptly.

Their report in comparison to other companies is not to to standard and to top it all off, when I called Dan the inspector to ask questions and get his feel of the overall status of the property, he was impatient and rude to me on the phone, there no explanations to my questions just a yes or no, and then he went on about how he can’t predict the future when all I wanted to understand is his thoughts on the overall condition of the house. I admit I’m not a builder professional so I might of asked questions which were obvious, but he is in no position to speak to someone like that especially when we are paying him.

I urgently needed an expert Builder to attend my home on a weekend for an ongoing argument with the Strata and Strata Manager over failed waterproofing within my bathroom and ensuite in order to obtain an Expert witness Building Report for the NSW Department of Fair Trading’s NCAT. David (aka knight in shining armour) came in and delivered within a few days his comprehensive 47 paged report with pictures truthfully and factually written to NCAT’s standards. I would seek their assistance again!

I recently had to deal with an irresponsible tradesman misrepresenting himself and making a lot of mess on my property. Mr Drexler inspected my property and provided a detailed and thorough report with reference to Australian Standard and Building Code Australia for NCAT Tribunal.

I am impressed work Dan Drexler put into his inspection and the report he wrote. No detail was overlooked. He is extremely professional and really knows what he is looking for, plus the relevant building codes were referenced where applicable. Obviously the years of experience he has are bought to his work when inspecting properties gives him a competitive edge.
I have no hesitation recommending Dan to others looking for a report by a highly qualified and extremely knowledgeable person. The added bonus is that he was so easy to deal with, and his consultative approach and communication skills made the process so much easier.

I have mixed feelings.

The report is great, well done, thorough and helpful.

Leone the 'office manager', I presume the builders wife, is not great at her job. I was trying to book an inspection for the next day and while she agreed, she didn't confirm and was very vague, had to chase her etc. She refused to give the inspectors number so my agent could contact him if late etc.

The payment portal didn't work 5+ times. It just seems like an unprofessional little family/husband and wife team. The reports are good, the customer service is garbage.

They have borderline demands throughout the report stating 'you MUST proceed with all recommendations PRIOR TO PURCHASE' for extra services to be done. I asked if this was some sort of legal requirement or their advice?

I received a one word reply; 'advice'.

These are the cheapest in Sydney, you get what you pay for.

EDIT: They replied to my review, but not publicly. I wonder why? I've attached screenshots of our correspondence regarding the review as I believe in the right of reply and would like to take the benefit of the doubt that they are most likely computer illiterate and unable to reply in a public forum.

They are the only property inspectors worth hiring. Thorough, efficient, accurate. I would not trust anyone else with a property I am interested in buying
