NRMA Port Macquarie Breakwall Holiday Park reviews
68NRMA never disappoints. We did tent camping and it was spacious. Bats were clean, swimming pool and BBQ well maintained. Lots of activity nearby at walkable distance - Kids play area, skating park, beach, basketball court
Great location, walking distance to restaurants, takeaway foods, grocery shop.
Great activities for kids.
Top spot to stay being right on the water.
Unfortunately, we didn't get a chance to fish. However, it looks like a prime spot.
Customer Service spot on, cabin price a little on the high side yet very comfortable.
I would not return to this caravan park unless NRMA make major changes and the staff take their jobs seriously.
After making a booking months in advance and arranging for a second vehicle to be parked on our allocated caravan lot at night only for security we were told this wasn't allowed as it was against park rules even though it had been previously arranged. The staff person I spoke to said that they would make a note on my booking but no one seemed to be able to find it.
The streets are so narrow it takes a lot of attempts to park a large van on the small lot without hitting other cars that are parked partly on the road it isn't allowed to park on the road but staff don't bother to enforce this rule.
While driving around I would advise not going above 5km as the kids are not supervised by adults and children as young as 3 or 4 are walking or riding bikes and scooters across the road at all hours day and night I get that people are there to relax but when you start drinking when the sun comes up and don't stop till it’s time to sleep and you don't look after your kids things start to become a problem, this is another rule that the staff are fine ignoring about supervision.
As to the showers and toilets there are so many people using them that there is always water everywhere and if you want a shower you need to go extremely late at night or early in the morning as there is no water pressure. There is plenty of hot water it just doesn't come out. I also had to fight to get into the amenities most nights as there were always a pack of kids just hanging out the front that I still do not know why. Then why I got inside the kids where siding under the shower walls from one end to another to see who could get the furthers and another bunch where on their phones while on the toilet describing to each other what they were doing.
All in all this is not the park for you if you want to relax and enjoy the day go by.
Great park and great location, cabins are well maintained and spacious, plenty of activites for the kids and adults
special mention to fred in the office he was awesome to deal with, the lady that sit in back right corner though was less then friendly and had a bad attitude hence the 2 stars
Awesome stay, great location, lovely walking, close to everything, very clean. Lovely people. Will be back
This is a great park since the NRMA took it over. Lots of improvements being done. Walk to town and located right on the Breakwall and town beach. Walk to pubs and restaurants, shops etc. We have a big van so was a bit tight getting onsite but.we did it! Time to enjoy! Oh.they have a beautiful pool! Great amenities blocks, dump point etc.
Well organised. Good communication. Stayed in one of the villas. Smallish but well thought out and comfy. Shops nearby. Rained the whole time so can't comment on other camp facilities.
After talking with receptionist and telling us she has room for us in the caravan park, our two caravans pulled up to the waiting bay which is right in-front of boom gate causing a traffic jam. Then the receptionists came out yelling at us saying that we can no longer stay and causing a scene. I am absolutely appalled by the management of the park and will not be coming back.
Lovely park close to the water but very busy and packed in. Sites for caravans are tight to get onto.
Stayed in the sea breeze cabin and it was so beautiful. Awesome views and so central to town. Easy walking distance. Pool service good at the park however it closes fairly early. Overall, awesome location will be visiting again
Just spent a few days here and it was the loveliest place to visit and to finish off our camping tour. The team are very friendly making breakfast on Friday morning for anyone who likes pancakes and amenities are 5 star.
We will be very happy to come back here again!
Great location. We were disappointed with the accommodation as it was not private, there was a shared veranda, the appointments were built for wheelchair use which made our ablutions and cooking diffucult. It was very clean.
I stayed at the Breakwall Caravan Park during Christmas school holidays. The park was very busy but the staff couldn't have been more accommodating. Facilities were kept clean, staff were all really pleasant and very helpful, thankyou.
Had my daughters and niece stay there camping. Had a family and friends up till three o’clock in the morning partying next to them. Yelling and screaming with most of the usual stuff that goes on. Next morning abusing my family for nothing they had done. Obviously someone had complained and there taking it out on them. Payed for three nights left after one. Don’t need abuse to others in the park doing the right thing. Guess you’s still there?
Clean amenities, tidy grounds. Beautiful location, close to everything. Friendly helpful staff.
We are so impressed with this holiday park, very close to the beach, clean and very well looked after amenities. The best we have seen so far from our travels. Well done to the team of NRMA Port Macquarie Breakwall.
Best place to stay in Port Macquarie.
We have stayed here on many occasions and have always been impressed by the central location, spotlessly clean rooms and very happy and helpful staff.
Big shout out to Dawn in reception for giving us a free upgrade on our most recent visit.
Highly recommend staying here to any families, couples old and young.
We will definitely be back soon
The park has noticeable improvements to sites like sowing new grass and many concrete slabs on powered sites have been added.great position close to shops and eateries.
I must congratulate team members at this park for excellent and speedy checkin on such a busy day. Such organisation.
