Great day out for the whole family. Theres a 50m pool, water splash play park for the little ones, 2 water slides for an additional cost, plenty of shaded areas and seating. There’s also numerous life guards on duty too.
There’s a canteen but it’s a bit pricey in my opinion. Better to bring your own snacks rather than pay for convenience.
It can be a bit of a wait to enter on busy hot days do be prepared

Great place to take the kids for the day.
Two water slides (blue is fast, yellow/green is slow)
50 metre pool for those keen to do laps, dive for your sinky's, or just cool off.
Water play area for those who want to splash each other or get splashed by the large bucket of water every few minutes.
Cafe on site.
Showers and amenities on site.
Multiple covered locations to sit out of the sun.
Large grass area to spread out.

I only have time at the weekends and yet the opening times on the weekends are reduced from 11am to 3pm instead of the usual Mon-Fri 6am to 6pm.
Wonder what's the logic behind the reduced opening hours on weekends.

Wonderful memories of the Nowra pool back in the late 50’s / 60’s. Dave Don’t managed the pool back then. I was a member of the swimming club during my childhood spending most of my summer days enjoying the pool. The 3 metre tower and the 1 metre spring board holds many a fabulous time. Special mention to the kiosk lady so many fabulous times.

Always a fun place for the whole family! The food at the kiosk is always fresh and quick! Love going here!

The Kids play area and the pool itself are pretty good.
But here is a word of advice - bring your own lunch - don’t plan on getting food from the “Slow motion cafe”.

Waited an hour for the food. Luckily the kids playground is right in front of the cafe - so at least the kids were entertained. But even their attention span was wearing thin long before the food was ready.

Because standing in front of a cafe waiting for your food for an hour leaves you with little else to do - you end up watching the staff in there and you learn a lot from the way they are working. You pretty much end up imagining owning a cafe yourself and figuring out exactly how NOT to run the cafe.

Here’s what I learnt from watching -

* When you place your order - they write everything down on a piece of paper.
* They then have the first 6 orders hanging up to look at. All the rest of the orders (and there is a lot of them) won’t even be hung up to look at for at least half an hour.
* Instead of cooking a bunch of food in bulk to cover a bunch of orders - they work on each order one at a time. “Slow motion Sam” will sit there measuring how many chips to put in the fryer for one order (when you can see that the fryer would have fit enough chips to cover 6 orders) - but instead - he’s waiting for the chips of one order to finish cooking before he puts in the chips for the next order.
* The same goes for “Betty the burger maker” - because not every order has a burger - she’s literally standing around chatting while she waits for “slow motion Sam” to let her know that the current order he’s cooking even requires her to toast a bun and fill it with lettuce and mayo in anticipation for the snitzel he is frying to be ready.
* One person with me ordered a ham and cheese toasty. The sandwich is already made and just needs to be unwrapped and put in the sandwich toaster. Because of their method of doing “one order at a time” - the sandwich sat there for an hour (the sandwich toaster being empty for that whole hour) before “Betty the burger maker” even toasted it.

And guess what? Every part of the meal was horrible. Especially the frozen drinks. Frozen cola somehow had less flavour than water.

The staff are horrible. They kicked us out for jumping in the water. And there really rude to customers!

Great place for a relaxing swim, amazing food, a little expensive but all round an amazing day out with the family.

Alright place to enjoy while in the region but disappointed in terms of extra fee for going down slides and the lack of working at the cafe even the teenager there was not doing anything besides from doing orders and other staff were just waking around talking

Love what they have been able to do with the park with the available money. Batemans Bay should've taken note.

Shame there was NO thought for small children’s swimming pool, only a splash play area with no shade, only pool area for kids that cannot swim is the ramp going into the pool.

It's good for an updated pool really like the new layout much easyer, just the only problem is I'm a big kid! And I love water slides they just need to be bigger and more! But unfortunately Council let's us down all the time.

Splash area for kids was great (I think best for 4 year up). Big slides were good fun, a bit slow but can pick up speed without a rashie and lying down (harder with a 2 and 4 yr old on you). Reasonable pricing

It has disabled access to the indoor pool and quite a good disabled change room. Generally the staff are great but now and then you strike one that isn't so great. The rampway down to the heated pool is a little steep in parts and if you go on your own in a wheelchair or with a walking aid, ask for assistance with the gate at the top of the ramp. You can't reach the safety latch from a wheelchair and the gate will swing shut on you.

We enjoy going here but they really could do with a shallow end to the pool or a kids pool. The walkway into the pool gets crowded because little ones want to be able to just swim and splash in the pool rather than the splash pad. But otherwise it's great. Could possibly do with some shade over the pool.
