I had been going for 5yrs an usually 2x tune up which was fantastic as was like a second home an knew nurses and staff an I am very grateful to the team. Unfortunately my Doctor has left the clinic. And I have asked if I can come in? An they have told me no other doctors will take me on. I feel extremely sad and disappointed. When asked why? They didn’t won’t to answer. I have always been perfectly kind an never done anything to upset the community or staff. Basically they left me with no hope or answers while I was in a very dark place. Not Australian

The two stars is for the food, its good. The rest of my admission has been disappointing. I'm in a clinic for trauma, grief and depression and they cant even supply a box of tissues. Seriously. When asked for tissues, the nurses say the hospital doesn’t supply them. The beds are incredibly hard, like a wooden plank, the nurses say they're aware of the issue but need people to complain so the company will do something. Its not my job to have to complain to improve the service when I'm here and suffering. The building is on a very small plot in a suburb and there is only a small backyard. There is a gazebo seating area which has been taken over by smokers, despite the allocated smoking area being further down the yard. The staff do nothing about this and as its the only covered area in the yard, it severely limits the outdoor space available to non smokers. The building itself is claustrophobic. The rooms are tiny, more like cells. You will not have your own bathroom, there's one combined toilet and shower for each sex, on each floor, that you have to share with all the other patients on that level. The nurses have been here for a very long time, too long, 16years one told me today in anger. They've forgotten how to be empathetic and warm and caring. They've stopped trying, and have slipped into a very comfortable and too familiar routine. I was in tears today and feeling really frightened and in grief, (good thing I bought a little pack of tissues at a shop on my way here). I asked to speak to one of the nursing staff and she was cold and uncaring, did not engage with me and refused to be soothing or warm. When I asked her for care and kindness she became angry and defensive and walked out, leaving me totally alone and feeling abandoned and more frightened. There are no counsellors or psychologists to talk to, there are only the nurses and they aren't trained in counselling and have no compassion.
The admissions process was a mess, the CMO didn't write down my medications properly, in fact she didn't even see my medications, leaving many out and its been an ongoing problem since, the staff don't seem to be able to get themselves organised to fix it up. I had to request that the nurses sit down with me and go through my medications together and once we did we found that the CMO had failed to chart quite a few. Really dodgy. I shouldn't have to chase the nursing staff to do that. The GP said she'd order a test to diagnose a possible infection and then didn't and I had to chase up the nursing staff to organise it, they'd heard nothing about it. Again, not something I should be put in a position to have to do.

The nursing admission was left till much later in the day, there were many cross over questions. Its not okay to drill a suffering patient with repetitive questions about their depressive symptoms, feelings of suicide etc, height, weight, ability to concentrate, why you've come here, everything asked twice. Once by the GP, once by the nurses. Completely unnecessary to put a patient through that. My bag wasn't searched, I wasn't shown around, where to get towels, where the groups are held, and have had to ask other patients or chase nurses to find this out, I was just left in my cell. I had asked if there was a secure place to store my valuables as I wasn't told about it and had to chase up a key to the top drawer myself.
I was due to have my first meeting with the admitting specialist and I had to chase down one of the nurses and ask them to show me where to go, into a separate building on the upper floor it turned out. No one came to get me to show me.
I went to the yoga class and the instructor spent the first 10minutes complaining about her stressful day and bringing a really anxious energy to the class. She really had no idea what she was doing, it was a poor quality class. At night time there are no group activities organised or a place where clients congregate for social time so it's really isolating and lonely. AVOID.

Simone Charters at this clinic is known to have seen as clients and advised the mental health of children based off nothing more than the self reporting and self serving orchestrations of a known child abusing parent engaged in varying fraudulent activities and theft. Simone Charters is known to have formulated her opinion and advise from the orchestrating and malicious perception creating criminal activities of the parent paying for her service. Simone Charters known to have engaged in this harmful misconduct without thought, care, consideration or professional standards required of subjectivity by listening to the child she was aiding the abuse of or the other parent she never met with equally abused by her playing client. For the best interests of your children keep them aware from these absent minded, unprofessional, poor standard and dangerously biased practioners like Simone Charters
