Sue holds space in a very supportive way. She has a unique approach that supported me to get to the core of things. Sue uses metaphors in a wonderful way to help deepen the understanding. The environment Sue creates gave me the sense of 'being held' while working with her, in nature amongst the hills and with her wonderful herd. I highly recommend Sue from NREAP - she is an absolute gift.

Attending the Embodied Awareness Course at Loadstone with NREAP was such an impactful experience. Located in stunning Northern NSW, Sue's facilitation style held, and guided myself and others over a weekend, through a beautiful journey of personal growth with her amazing herd of horses. Such a magical unforgettable experience.

The most impactful workshops I’ve ever experienced. The lessons you learn from connecting with the beautiful horses stay with you.

Sue is incredibly knowledgeable and skilled in her field, and she effortlessly applies her expertise to practical situations during the therapy sessions. What truly stands out about her is her ability to create a safe and non-judgmental space where individuals can freely explore their emotions and face their challenges. Sue's warm and empathetic approach made it possible for me to open up and feel truly heard and understood.

Beyond her therapeutic expertise, Sue's commitment to the well-being and welfare of her horses is commendable. It is clear that she deeply values the relationship between humans and animals and has created an environment that prioritises their welfare. This dedication adds an extra layer of authenticity to the therapeutic experience and creates a sense of harmony and balance.

I wholeheartedly recommend Sue without any reservation.

Sue Lamond is an exceptionally talented facilitator of change. Her ability to hold an individual or a group in an authentic and compassionate way is unparalleled. Sue is not merely a trainer of equine therapists, she lives and breathes the work. As a fellow professional who was deeply impacted by the training I undertook with Sue, I have the greatest respect for her skills and consider her to be a master therapist!

I have experienced NREAP's equine assisted therapy work on many weekend workshops. You just have to experience the magic of the property, receive the wisdom of the herd for yourself, to understand the depth of change it can evoke in our own sense and awarenes of self. The gifts I receive from working with individual horses and Sue's sensitive and profound practice blend seamlessly together, growing my acceptance and appreciation of "self" and "other" every time. Sue has synthesized years of horse work, therapy training, counselling and coaching into an extraordinary embodied knowledge base and her facilitation and method is gentle, professional and heart opening.

I attended EPI training with Sue at NREAP and my experience of that training was exceptional. The property and location for the training is so conducive to learning, reflecting and connecting, and the facilities are exceptional. Sue is an amazing facilitator of learning, she is challenging and supportive and creates an atmosphere of trust and connection, so much so that I chose to also have personal equine psychotherapy sessions with her. I have not met a professional as genuine and skilled as Sue. I feel respected, valued and connected in relationship with Sue and her amazing herd and home. If you have struggled to connect and be vulnerable with clinicians previously, I highly recommend reaching out to Sue. She has facilitated awareness and connection for me when I had given up hope it was possible. Life changing.

Sue is a dedicated Equine Assisted Psychotherapist and trainer of the Equine Assisted Work. Sue has many years of experience that enables her to fully understand her clients and their needs. She has the ability to negotiate among a room or paddock full of people so that each client is heard and made feel safe in their learning environment. Whilst all people have their own life stories Sue is non-judgemental and shows a genuine concern for the other. She is inspiring, authentic and relatable. I highly recommend Sue as an Equine Assisted Psychotherapist or trainer in professional and or social development.
