Northern Beaches Subaru

Outstanding customer service. This is the 3rd Subaru I have purchased from this dealership and while I have had great past experiences, this one was exceptional. A huge shout out to Chris who was friendly, accommodating and informative. No request was too much. I was very appreciative of the courtesy car provided to me while waiting for my new Forester to be ready post some modifications. A 6 day turnaround from purchase to delivery. The car is magnificent. If you are in the market for a car - go and see Chris and Joey - you won't be sorry.

I had some problems with the old owners. But the new owner has been great and the staff have been really friendly and helpful. They went over and above to rectify a few issues. Thanks!

UPDATE TWO

This is the first time I've changed my review from five to one star and then back again! It seems NB Subaru has just been taken over by new owners - family based - and they've jumped right in and offered to fix up my issues. Bruce has been fantastic to deal with - so hopefully this place is back to how it should be.

So unimpressed I'm changing my review from 5 to 1 star. And having driven an Outback since 1996 this will be the last one.

Two main problems (so far) with this not-very-old vehicle. Neither terrible but in both cases AWFUL service.

1. The seat covering started to get scuff marks, which turned into small rips and now big rips (I can get my fist into them). Totally unacceptable for such a new vehicle. Apparently not Subaru's problem, and it took them months and months to get back to me with much chasing. Responses included it must be my belt buckle. (In the front passenger seat - where I rarely sit - not that most people wear belt buckles under thier butts anyway!) or that my kids must have been using sunscreen. (Again, they tend to be in the back not the front passenger seta).

2. The screen developed issues - the touch controls would not work. This did FINALLY get fixed under warranty but I had to chase and chase and chase. Such a hassle.

Fantastic help from Taylor, who matched Penrith Subaru's very reasonable quote for me in a very polite way; totally accepted that I felt I had to honour the Pentith deal; and then, when the Penrith tried to jack up their price, still kept to it and somehow made a same day deal. Oh, and thanks to Jade for great follow up help.

Last week, I had the pleasure of buying my brand new car at Subaru Northern Beaches and I must say, the experience was nothing short of phenomenal. Taylor provided an exceptional customer service experience and was knowledgeable and patient. He answered all my questions, provided detailed information about the vehicles, and gave me ample time to test drive without any pressure.

We have never purchased a brand new car before and visited several dealers before choosing one. They all had great products - but only Subaru Brookvale had Taylor! We had such a great experience with Taylor, not only did he help us find the car we wanted, his customer service and follow up were excellent. We really trusted that he was working with our best interests and that we could always contact him with any questions. Taylor made the whole experience of buying a new car and trading in our old one a hassle-free and positive experience. We would definitely recommend!

It was only a minor repair but Alex and the staff at Subaru Northern Beaches were great. They had the part on hand and replaced it within 10 minutes.

Staff very friendly and accommodating. I trust them in looking after my Subaru. It was a speedy turn around and the pricing was great! On top of it all they cleaned my car! I’m so pleased owning a Subaru and knowing I can trust Subaru in what they do. The friendly service on top just made my day.

Get this company to do my 4 yr service on my Forrester. Service was done well and prompt. Car is clean inside, but they missed the boot. There was also a piece of rag left on the gear shift. These are minor things that I trust they will improve with time. I am happy with the service and the price - no extra charges and expensive on-sells. Will continue with them for service.
