It was everything I hoped for, so informative and easily put me and my husband at ease. I couldn't have asked for a better service. Absolutely Horrendous - The receptionists have 0 compassion and try to inflict as much trauma as they can. They knew what date my health care card expired but wouldn’t put it on my health care card “because it doesn’t work like that. ” They then tried to charge me 400 dollars for an ultrasound after telling me it was 200 pain arrival.
Try to get a referral elsewhere.
The sonographer was beautiful and made me feel comfortable but the reception was disgusting.
Will never be returning and I suggest those responsible rethink if health care is really suitable for them.
Waiting forever and no one here cares. Very poor attitude by the older receptionist. Recommend you avoid this place

To Brad: you were the rude, impatient, unhelpful one. Life is short, life is hard. Be kind to those working in the front line as you have no idea how busy they are.
To the ladies: you were kind, hardworking and did an excellent job. ESPECIALLY the older one.

Reception staff were lovely and greet you with a smile - I dealt with a younger gentleman and I could not fault his reception work.
Appointment was not 100% on time but I was also running a couple of minutes late by the time I got through all of the roadworks on the way up here (I travelled 1.5hrs to be seen), so that would probably be my own fault for any delay, however I still feel I was seen in a timely manner. I think I only waited 15 to 20 mins. When I'm at a Gp Clinic, I wait longer to be seen my Dr when I've got the first appointment of the day ️
Facilities appear clean and tidy and well set out for maximum use of space.my MRI appointment came with headphones and music for the duration - artist of my choosing.
The technician was also very polite, and easy going. He was good for a bit of banter and a joke.
Could not recommend this facility and more at this point.
This MRI experience was better than the only other one I have had which was at Gold Coast University Hospital.
I visit north coast radiology Ballina for my 8 years old teeth X-ray.
The person who did X-ray was very rude with my son. He had no sense of human to talk with kids.
I think he was African man with long black curly hair.
I wish to stop him on the spot but there were so many other peoples so I don’t want to disturb anyone with all this. My son is very upset.
He was crying all the way back home. He is asking me, ” mum I haven’t did anything wrong so why he was screaming at me. ”
Very disappointed.
If someone had appointment at north coast radiology Ballina please don’t go with this person for X-ray.
I hope radiology will take any action about it so no one in future will back from here with sadness.

Wow got a shock coming here front desk staff incredibly rude and passive aggressive - if you have a choice go elsewhere. Sat in waiting room and listened to the troll on the front desk be consistently condescending to customer after customer, just not acceptable in this day and age. It’s a shame as the person doing the scan was lovely
My family Have always been looked after so well here, no waiting around time. Very professional.
I was sent here for a MRI on an injury which resulted in a mis-diagnoses and my friend also had the same thing on her MRI knee injury. A specialist I have been seeing told the MRI machines here are outdated here. I would advise not getting an MRI here as it has drawn out mine and my friends injuries.
Bloody fantastic. Actually seen on time. Front desk staff lovely. Radiologist explained everything to me. Very curtious, friendly and professional. As a health care professional myself, cannot fault the service i received today. Thanks, especially for the on time as I had finished a night duty and was tired and hungry lol.
I made my booking at reception and the girls were helpful in accommodating my time constraints. Both services I used Mammograph and CT Scan performed in a professional, informative and supportive manner. Thank you
I avoid this practice through previous experience very rude unfriendly front desk, make you feel as if you are not welcome and here's the icing on the cake - you actually have to pay for this unprofessional treatment - please GO TO WAVE RADIOLOGY! AKA Lumus Imaging, its just down the road and so much better than North Coast. A BIG shake up has to happen at North Coast as it is know locally about the treatment of public once you enter through their doors.

I took in a Doctor’s referral today … into North Coast Radiology Ballina … & was able to have my medical requirements done within one hours & the results were send to my GP the next day
I don't generally write a review, particularly negative, but I am hoping that it may genuinely lead to some reflection at the practice on how they treat patients. I am sure they are all nice people and prone to foibles as we all are but they could certainly improve empathy towards patients, unfortunately there are too many negative reviews for my experience to be a one off. I will give them another try and hope I just caught them on a bad day.
I found receptionists to be polite and efficient despite being busy. The clinician who undertook my ultrasound guided procedure was lovely.no discomfort at all. Surprised to see negative reviews!
Very good.twice have has x rays and cortisone. 10 percent given. But having said that several years aggo it was hell on wheels.well done by clean g up that pack of don't wanna want to know about is thank you the girls there now
Terrible ultrasound that made a GOOD hip look BAD! A complete waste of our time! And not to mention the worries that caused us.
We booked in using their online services, they booked us in for the wrong treatment despite having the referral. Then proceeded to blame us for this and were extremely rude towards my daughter and I. There was no apology for wasting our time even though both of us had to take time off work. For a health care provider there is no consideration for client and their inconvenience. Would DEFINITELY recommend Wave, they have got better customer service and bulk bill.
Second time I’ve arrived at an appointment where they’ve actually scheduled a different date. Never had these issues at Byron
