NOMAD Bouldering Gym reviews
49I've been coming here for a little under 3 months and really love it. The community is great, the boulders are fun and challenging, the coffee is lovely, the staff are super friendly, the yoga classes are dynamic and the ventilation in the climbing areas is perfect. They also have heaps of hand sanitiser and liquid chalk to keep everything hygienic. Thanks for being so great Nomad <3
Super friendly staff, amazing coffee. And great, intelligent sets that always keep me learning.
Great place to meet people, get fit and run by a great group of people.
So glad it's close to home.
This is a review for the Tues 7pm beginners bouldering class w Ellie & Mitch; just wanted to say what a joy it was to be a part of such an enthusiastic group of people to learn and practice a sport gaining huge popularity here in AUS. The instructors were attentive, kind, encouraging and humble in their approach and are true professionals at what they do, not to mention every climb they ‘send’ looks so effortless. Thoroughly happy with what I took away and will be back for more. Take a bow Nomad!
Good vibes, walls aren't too crowded so you'll be able to get plenty of climbing in. Good coffee in cute mugs. You could go here for a first date, do it for the gram or go to climb some hard stuff, they have it all.
Nomad is my favourite bouldering gym in Sydney. The staff are super friendly and there are so many climbs to work on (with the setters changing them regularly). The gym is clean and tidy, and they offer a variety of yoga classes. I’ve been coming here for two years and I still rate it.
Friendly staff and fantastic problems. Your only regret in going will be the new addiction you develop.
Staff did their job even if they weren't very attentive or welcoming, they were straight to the point.climbs were more difficult than some other places, was fun.
Good bouldering, best to go in the morning or evening because the middle of the day is very hot in the warehouse
Great community with a challenging set of climbs for all levels, rotating on a regular schedule. Staff are always on-hand if you need assistance or require a beta for a climb. Having good quality coffee and quick snacks available are a great touch for morning climbs or if you need an energy boost after work. The best climbing gym that I've experienced in Sydney.
Great fun, friendly atmosphere, and always quite busy. Weekends are always quieter which is good if you just want to relax and climb care free.
A great size gym and LOVE the setting style here. Lots of balance/technique/finesse oriented problems
First time to this bouldering gym and had a fantastic time trying out their levels. They have a workout area and showers if you need it as well. Just as cool they also have a working space so you can work for the day then boulder at different time Have already set out to get the regular membership Also they have an app where you can track your climbs which is pretty cool.
Couldnt recommend this place enough. Great fun, great staff, great community, and great for the kids!
So far I only got a couple of times there to boulder, because another boulder gym is closer to my work and I like to go for a climb in my lunch break. But I always go to the Nomad when I really want to be challenged and start some more difficult problems. The atmosphere is really nice and welcoming and the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable.
The only negative point I can think of is that being a student it is a little pricy, but definitively still worth every cent!
Stopped for a single session. Setting tends to be moderately reachy and climbs tend to be more of a slopey style. Decent training area.
Staff, size of the gym, and number of climbs keep me coming back. Lots of variety to choose from if you enjoy bouldering, especially for beginniners. Conveniently located close to uSyd campus
Amazing place to go to climb while listening to good music and vibes. The staff is super friendly and helpful and the place is always full of energy. They also organise many interesting events! I love to go:)
Great bouldering, good people, lots of resetting always something new to try. Memberships are really good value if you climb more than once a week.
Our kids (11,13) just had a great time at the 3 day school holiday camp. Happy and excited by day, exhausted by night. Perfect holiday camp that instilled skills and confidence!
