Ni Hao Bar

Visited for the $1 oysters/scallops which was a great deal. They’re $1 each for the first 6 per person and then $2 after that which is still a great deal.

Food was good though some dishes like the spanned crab noodles were a little pricey for the portion.

Good Asian-fusion food in cool venue. You place your order via an app, so therefore no higher rating for the service.

Nice vibes and atmosphere.

They also do Happy Hour drink specials but will charge you full price unless you bring it up before ordering, plus the undisclosed card surcharge on top so be weary of deceptive practices.

I have been to this place many times and every time myself and my wife walk out with confidence that we will return food 10/10 service 10/10 and they have best drinks ever specially (Jackie Chan)

They promoted $1 deals on Wednesday for oysters and scallops and the scallops weren’t available. It’s just disappointing as the deals makes people want to try. The other food was average just very spicy and it wasn’t written in the menu. Also the waffle fries were soggy and lacked flavour

Great vibe, lively crowd, good food and fun cocktails. Loved the teapots with shots, the bao buns, broccoli, spicy dumplings. Staff were very attentive.

Today (28 april 2023) I was at your place for having dinner & drink by myself.

While I still having my 2nd drink, this guy named Austin (front person) tell me that there are bookings coming.
And I need to move.
The good things is he said to me politely.

I look around and there are lot of tables is empty which near the dj stage. Why dont give them to other tables that still empty while I was still enjoying my meals and drinks?

I plan to order for my 3rd drinks and waiting for the DJ play, but this makes me feel dont comfortable with and just move out in no time.

Delicious food, atmosphere and drinks. Located at a very convenient location (right next to Townhall station). Would recommend coming here but it does get very busy on a Friday/Saturday night so booking is essential.

Delicious food and atmosphere! Service is quick and they make great recommendations ️ Great spot for Happy Hour, $1 Scallops and Oysters (max dozen pp), grab a share cocktail in a gorgeous teapot and bring your friends!
Scallops and cheeseburger springrolls were delicious, will definitely come back!

Lovely staff and great food. Is a little bit expensive but definitely worth it! The salt and pepper squid, beef skewers and ice cream were amazing!

The food here was great. Lots of options to choose from and everything was delicious. I especially loved the bao buns (I recommend the pork). The service wasn't the best. It was quite busy and we were seated at a pretty large table and orders kept getting missed/Food we ordered wasn't showing up. But after talking to the staff they brought everything out for us and were very apologetic. I'd still definitely visit again because the food is amazing.

Jan 2023: went for drinks. Good vibe, decent value drinks. The theatrical cinnamon cocktails with lots of fire on the bar aren't for me but some people seemed to love the show!

Good food, helpful reservation system, friendly staff and good service and very nice atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Most amazing staff service ever experienced! Also gave us a free tequila shot for the birthday girl. We loved the food and the ambience!

Decided to make a booking after hearing from multiple friends about the unique concept Ni Hao Bar offers and was in awe of how reminiscent it was of my time in Hong Kong, quite authentic!

It was our first time here so the banquet set menu at $68 per person was a great option to allow us to have a taste of each of their specialties. The food appears to be pricey but by the end of the dinner we were quite satisfied; visually striking and tasted delicious! We are not much of drinkers so we were relieved that the cocktails we ordered were balanced and complimented the food well, was almost tempted to order another round!

Staff was very lovely and was always on top of how our night was going, even though I could see how busy they are! Had no hiccups throughout the night but even the managers checked up on us, can clearly see how the staff value the customer's experience.

It was a pleasant surprise to find out that they were hosting live music while we dined that Thursday, which really added to the atmosphere that night. We were informed that the live entertainment rotates every week so will definitely be coming around to check it out in the future.

Definitely worthwhile to make a visit whether it be dinner with nice ambience or a crazy night out with friends, will definitely be coming by again!

I honestly had one of the best experiences at Ni Hao Bar. I went for the $1 Oysters with my family not really anticipating how the rest of the food would taste. I was extremely impressed at how fresh their produce was. The chef really knew how to pair flavors to make the dishes taste impeccable! The service was also amazing, with dishes coming out quickly and the waiters were extremely aware of their customers needs. The interior decor was also really well thought out, paying homage to authentic Chinese tradition. I would highly recommend this place and am most definitely going back again.

The coolest venue I’ve been to in Sydney so far on the weekend!
Food was amazing. Cocktails were delicious!
Service was spot on and staff were all happy and friendly even though it was so busy!
