Jason is a great doctor with an enthusiastic and upbeat personality. He is efficient, and especially so with vaccinations which I appreciate. He is also the only bulk billing GP in Newington. Highly recommend!

The medical center's services fell short of expectations, with a lack of communication regarding appointments. Numerous complaints about unprofessional staff behavior and a seeming disregard for patient concerns have been circulating. Overall, the center's reputation appears to be marred by a subpar standard of care.

We have been seeing Dr Cooke for over a decade:).
Dr Jason Cooke and his mum, are very friendly.
He is very professional and knowledgeable.
Mrs Cooke is the best nurse, as an Asian I have smaller veins and as such have not felt a pinch from a needle when my blood samples were taken or I was given a jab.
Highly recommended this medical centre.

PS: our usual joke is please do not say "see you later", as we ended up seeing him really soon:)

Went here for the first time today and I couldn’t be happier with the service provided by Dr Jason Cooke. Professional and friendly and easy to talk to. I have been looking for a local doctor after moving into the area. I can stop looking now as I’ve found one. I will be back. Thanks

There is a reason you can always get an appointment here. Very expensive, rushed through and simplistic diagnosing. No line of questioning or gaining information. Then the ditsy reception had no idea how to use the new eftpos machine. We are taking the family to MyHealth Newington from now on

Just stopped by for a quick appointment. Receptionist was very lovely. I was worried I booked the wrong type of Center for the issue I had but Dr. Cooke was very helpful and we found a solution in record time. It was quick and easy and I’d highly recommend. PS If you’re having trouble finding the place like I did it’s inside the shopping center directly across the grass from the woolies.

Best doctor I’ve had. I’m completely comfortable going to Dr Jason about any health issue. He is extremely attentive and listens to concerns. He is thorough and always goes the extra mile to look all possibilities.

Very good medical centre for the locals. Chemist only a few steps from the centre. Dr. Jason, a young and very professional Doctor.
Closed on Mondays so 3day turn around from Fridays.

Dr Cooke is fantastic, a caring and knowledgeable doctor. Newington medical is located upstairs and has elevator and stair access. Well lit and clean environment. I recommend coming here to see Dr Cooke

Shouldn't be licensed, he is sneaky and changes practice name to avoid disgruntled ex patients. Many people I know have filed complaints against Dr cooke. The nurse took my blood I had a giant bruise the Dr had the audacity to say it was not related to the blood test. He then proceeded to misdiagnose me. He previously worked for another practice in newington over 10 years ago and there was issues with him. Can't believe he can have a practice if his own

I've been a patient of Dr Cooke since he has opened this medical practice. 100% of the time has have given excellent medical advice and his diagnosis is always spot on. Dr Cooke has been our go-to family medical practitioner and I trust his advice and support for both myself and my children.

Great Drs surgery. Easy to book, convenient hours for full time workers and great service. Would recommend.

Shocking service! Very bad! Jason Cooke has yelled at me and been extremely verbally aggressive! Appaling behaviour for a GP! Unable to help at all with basic PBS scripts! Seems totally disinterested most times also and rushes you out the door, without a chance to voice your concerns. Has also given incorrect medical advice about NRT and caused a violently ill severe nicotine overdose. Will not be going here again! No wonder the place is always empty and all other staff and receptionists have quit!

WORST GP I’ve ever seen.
Jason seems like the ONLY doctor available at this practice. I waited for 20 minutes with two other patients as the practice was UNATTENDED.
Jason is very JUDGE MENTAL! Only go there if you only need a medical certificate, because he only wants to get through the patients QUICLY and was NOT WILLING TO GIVE MEDICAL ADVICE!

One good thing is that Jason’s consultation fee is $10 CHEAPER than other regular GPs around the area, so it’s a bargain if you don’t have medicare.

I was the last patient for the day and it was delayed by 45 minutes without any warnings. Doctor seemed tired from treating patients all day, but I felt he was not willing to give proper medical advice. Now my sickness got worse without any prescriptions so I will be going to a different GP. Seemed like he was not being proactive and only would proceed with a proper treatment once it got worse. Wouldn't it be better to be proactive rather than being reactive?

My friend, Sarah, is a regular patient of Dr Cooke. She regards him as a very professional, emphathetic and knowledgeable Doctor. He does not rush appointments and thoroughly addresses all her concerns. She also has high regard for his support staff.
