Newcastle Conservatorium of Music reviews
10I invite you to support the beautiful talent of these people who give magical moments when playing instruments. The music conservatory is a comfortable, welcoming place, it is a place that is always carrying out activities open to the public, it guarantees that you will enjoy a good time of good music. Each activity that is done is different so there is variety for all musical tastes. In the videos it was jazz night, it was great to be able to listen to this musical ensemble, they are great musicians!
Newcastle Conservatorium was great saw a play called Ordinary Days with Musical direction from a Piano player who had four other singers with him. Excellent piano playing
Nice place, slightly outdated. The seated room I went it was nice and the chairs were comfortable. Can’t get a park anywhere near by as it is so busy in town.
Just love the con. Whether it be student performances or one of the orchestras.
Great music cheap.
This place is an absolute experience! The atmosphere in the performance room is amazing, and really comfortable. I accidentally fell asleep here watching HSC pieces last year it was so comfy. I loved the pieces, I just had a massive lack of sleep and was fatigued.
It's conveniently close to places with food too for brek, lunch or dinner.
The concert yesterday was something I have never experienced before - aboriginal music, singing, composition and dance expressing the extraordinary gifts of our first nation. I think that their genius, obviously being handed on to their children, should always lead our country's rituals.
Fabulous acoustics, parking difficult so I recommend having dinner prior to attending, hence less issues with a park.
Cool and good, they have good facilities that are clean and have the right and new equipment, good place 10/10 IGN.
Saw Dan Sultan here in there theater. Great room for an intimate concert. Beer and wine prices were awesome.
The Newcastle Con seems to have greatly improved its concert and performance program. Perhaps just as importantly, they have improved publicity via their website.
The auditorium is unfortunately quite small. I think a place the size of Newcastle deserves better facilities in a faculty that offers such great opportunities for public engagement. Still, they seem to make the most of it on occasion.
The recent performance of the Yale University Concert Band is a case in point. Though the stage was really too small, the performance was excellent. The visitors provided an interesting, engaging and thoroughly entertaining and enjoyable evening.
Keep your eye on the website because promotion of the program could be improved and you'll probably find something on offer that you will enjoy.
