By the time this lot answers your phone call, you could've swam or paddled back to NZ. I'd rather inject fentanyl in my eyes than deal with them again!

Came here without an appointment at around noon. They didn’t let me in at first, but asked which country I was applying to before agreeing to let me speak to an officer. I believe they had a brief slot for my particular destination, which I’m lucky for!

Met with a (Korean?) woman who helped me get my application in pretty quickly.

Easy to talk to and helpful. To be fair, I had most of the documents prepared, and for what I was missing, I managed to retrieve on the spot. Things will be smooth if you’re organized, self-reliant, and fast.

Did overhear a conversation between another officer and applicant while waiting. She seemed pretty rude to him because he seemed to be missing something, or didn’t schedule properly. She asked him, “then why are you here? ” Unlucky.

My experience was good today, the two lady helped me with my France Visa were patient and nice. They are both delightful.

***TRAP***
They misinform you by claiming Norway visa process is 15 working days. Norway Embassy Canberra spends more than 2 months for processing. VFS knows the issue very well, but they still get the applications. You know why?
THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND THIS IS NOT REFUNDABLE.
So Sneaky.

VFS has terrible customer service. You can never trust them. After 40 days of waiting for a short stay visa to France, I contacted VFS to withdraw my passport, because I have an international trip very soon. I emailed to them, provided my details, filled out the withdrawal form, then they did not reply on my email and did not give me any update. Every time I called the customer service, the phones were redirected to out sourced company, the staff can only give you standard answers. They kept saying that they would forward my email to visa application centre. However that’s no sense, because visa application centre would not reply on the email anyway. I was so frustrated, So I called French consulate Sydney directly. The lady who picked up my phone said that my passport was ready for delivery today.

Never trust VFS. If you are in emergency to get back your passport, Contact consulate directly. VFS will just keep you waiting. This rubbish company should not even exist!

My husband and I visited their application centre today for a scheduled visa appointment. We were both ready to expect a long process or wait time but to our surprise were attended to within mins of getting there. The gentleman at the counter / reception, Mr. Reza was really pleasant, courteous and extremely patient throughout the process. He helped us in getting all the necessary documents in order and was quick to point out any work around for missing documentation/information. He saved us both heaps of time with his assistance and helped in getting through all the necessary paperwork to submit in time. Thank you for all your help, Reza!

I been there for passport verification, after discussion with customer care they said u need appointment for that. But when I walk in they charge me $39 for no appointment. Not happy with service, just money making business.

Slow but honestly that is not the problem, they don't provide any update, website is not user friendly, 3 days in a row trying to contact them with not luck, either phone or email.honestly bad experience

I have been visiting this center for a variety of visa applications over the last 4 years. Overall, they are polite and efficient but the experience highly depends on the type of visa and the person you are interacting with. In some cases, they tend to be very picky on every single detail in your application (which is nerve-wracking) but I’ve come to understand they are simply following the requirement of the consulates they are reporting to.

My review is mainly based on my last visit for Schengen (Germany) visa. The new attendant, Reza, was by far the calmest and thoughtful person I’ve encountered in this center. To me, it seemed that he had a good understanding of not just required documents, but more importantly how stressful, pedantic, and most of all unfair this process can be. He was patient and in many cases, I heard him calming panicking applicants. If only everyone worked with this level of compassion, perhaps we won’t have to deal with these biased processes to begin with.

VFS global admin Minakshi, who was reponsible for Singapore visa on 2022/08/09 Tuesday Morning had horrible attitude and impatient througout the document check. She kept us waiting without giving a legitimate reason, jumped to conclusion that we were impatient and angry and told us to leave immediately. This person needs some basic knowledge on customer service.

Went to apply for French visa. Everyone was so lovely and very helpful. Especially ladies who are working at the front. I got an email that my passport has been returned from Consulate within a week!

Covid 19 Travel exemption: I applied to travel exemption and paid $45 application fee. Did not hear from NZ immigration since then, There is no turn around time listed on website. I call NZ immigration and was on hold for 1 Hour 45 minutes and 45 mins second Time. Looks like they are collecting $45 and just disappear with no number to contact and no time line to reply to application.

The call centre is useless, they were of no help whatsoever, their English is bad and they don't understand the questions we ask. Shocked to as why the call centre is in Asia!

Was busy at the time I went (11.30am). Wish there was a token system, to know how many people are in line waiting. But once at the counter, the process is quite fast.

Very rude, hung up on me mid conversation during the greeting phase. Was not even on the phone 25 seconds. They seem to be quite clueless and display that every call is such a heavy task.

I would give this place a negative rating! Whenever i call them, the staff is always clueless, on top of that they talk to you like it's such a big burden.this is for New Zealand immigration, and i don't get why they didn't hire locals? Every time i called, an Indian picked up the call. I'm not trying to be racist or anything, but they always are so so rude and they don't know anything about the visa applications.they have such thick accents and whenever i don't understand and i ask them to kindly repeat what they said, they sigh very clearly showing disrespect and talk down to me.it's a visa application center for god's sake! Shouldn't they know about visa process? So so disappointing that such unprofessional staff is hired! When i called today, a guy picked up.he was rude and when i tried to call again for further questions, my call was constantly disconnected! Wow! Worst customer service ever!
