New Star Kebab Family Restaurant

I've been to many Turkish restaurants but this place was finally a disappointment. Staff didn't bother to advise on the ordering part. Finally when we placed the order they charged me 53 Dollars for 2 freaking kebab donors that were advertised for 14 dollars each. Staff did not provide the bill and didn't inform me what he was charging me for? A little courtesy to explain the price change should have been enough. Look at my donor kebab, the cheese is so cold, it wasn't even warm enough for a human to eat it. What was the staff thinking? This is how you treat your customers? Maybe it was a way of them thinking let's cheat the tourist and make some extra money. Wondering why the health department doesn't take actions against such restaurants.

I stumbled upon this kebab restaurant and was pleasantly surprised. The beef and chicken kebabs were delicious! They were perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The meat was juicy, and the fresh veggies and sauces made for a delightful combination. The service was quick, and the staff was friendly. Whether you're a kebab connoisseur or just looking for a tasty, quick meal, this place won't disappoint. I'll definitely be coming back for more.

A big fraud…. Ordered two mix platters and they served in one platter and having less skewers. Extremely disappointed

This is my go to place for Middle Eastern food. We travel close to a hour just to eat here. The meats, the hummus, the dips and the sides are just spot on. It’s always busy and the vibe is awesome!

One of the best restaurants in sydney. The Keymali Pide and mixed shish are my favorite. Good thing is that they accept cards now as well so no more hustle to get cash. 5️

Best Turkish food in Sydney, love the sauces especially chilli sauce and serving quantity is always good. On top of it, taste is excellent.
Owner and staff are always friendly especially owner always serve you with a smile.

Their food used to be very tasty but last two time I have ordered Shish plate and it was not tasty. I don't know whether it was due to Covid or their standard of food have dropped practically.

Only names but no quality and taste, used to be my favourite food but not any more.why?
Rice was not properly cooked, adana was very thick, chicken have no taste and above all price so high compared to others

I placed a takeaway order for shish plate with an option for chicken. Chicken wasn’t tasty as expected. Bread and garlic sauce was tasty. Also find 2 hair in the plate so remaining food went into bin.

Best kebab ever. I ordered a chichen plate and olive pizza, they were amazing. One plate is enough for two so don't be greedy. Only con is that they only take cash. There's an atm 1-200m away though

Very bad experience, don’t even want to give 1 star. The food was very smelly and kebabs were uncooked. The pizza was topped with raw meat slices and they were foul smelling…

My mate told me to come here, I will not lie, your large kebab like pizza.it was amazing. I had left overs the next day till lunch. You guys are amazing and the Pizza n Chips we ordered, totally loved it Brother. Keep it coming.see you guys again when I'm in the area.

Fed the boys at work today for lunch. 6 family size pizzas, chips and a couple 1.25L drinks. All they could say was BEST PIZZA’s WE’VE EVER HAD! Didn’t do much work after tho, too full haha thank you very much New Star. Will definitely be coming back next time we working near Auburn.

Pretty delicious chicken and mixed kebabs. Generous fillings and chips were very crunchy and well seasoned. The price paid for having so much filling was that you needed cutlery to eat most of it since it wasn't really possible to roll the kebab without the bread tearing. Staff were nice and food came out relatively fast. Quick walk from the station (Woolworths side). Turn left once you exit the station.

Yummm this is a family favorite. I go at least once every month. Beautiful cultural food with amazing customer service. Must try!
