New South Homes

We just moved into our new provincial house beautifully constructed by New South Homes (NSH). It has been a wonderful partnership with New South Homes since the first meeting. Given the very custom design of the home, countless discussions were held with Joe, Brandon and Scott and they really chipped in well with their valuable inputs and suggestions.
Despite the various challenges posed firstly by heavy rains and then timber shortage due to Russia Ukrainian conflict, Wally and Brandon helped with the innovative ways to procure the material to get the work kept going. The construction process was a positive experience as well for us. Matt (Project Manager) and Brandon worked closely and methodically with us allowing us time to consider options during construction which gave us space to make well thought out decisions.
Given the high number of variations, we did faced some challenges with material supply during build however at the end all went well.
During the build, weekly updates were received from Matt who was across all trades and on the odd occassion when materials could not be delivered on time, we were informed.
Building a new home is a huge task and can be incredibly stressful. We did have such moments, but thankfully with the active participation from Joe and Wally, we were able to sail them through.
It’s worth highlighting that Provincial houses required lot of detailing and we were really thrilled with the final finishing given by NSH.
Our home is under warranty now and NSH has been very prompt to address the defects observed so far.
If you are thinking of building a new home, I strongly recommend that you talk to New South Homes before making any final decisions. We love our home and could not be happier.

It is coming up to four years since we built our home with New South Homes.
The build process was a positive experience for us. Our block of land is sloping and required significant excavation. As we were knocking down and rebuilding, we had a good understanding of the block and the style of home that would work on the block. From the beginning of the process we felt heard and informed. Designers and builders worked closely and methodically with us allowing us time to consider options, which gave us space to make considered well thought out decisions.
Payment schedule was clear and fair. Variations to contract were clearly explained and thankfully there were not many of them.
During the build, weekly meetings/phone calls were received from Andrew, the foreman who was across all trades and on the odd occassion when materials could not be delivered on time, we were informed.
New South Homes is a one stop shop where we had access to not only building trades but a patient interior designer and samplers from their showroom for most interior requirements. When we were not satisfied with their range, New South Homes recommended other specialist showrooms who they had good working relationships with, ensuring quality service and a fair price for us. Since finishing our build, they have moved to a new office and showroom in Waitara, and now have a comprehensive range of interiors on show.
Building a new home is a big undertaking and can be incredibly stressful. Thankfully New South Homes shouldered much of this for us. We communicated often with Joseph, Brandon, Andrew and Joe and could not be happier with the service they provided.
If you are thinking of building a new home, I strongly recommend that you talk to New South Homes before making any final decisions. We love our home and could not be happier.

New South Homes constructed my new family home. Throughout the building processes they kept updating me on the progress. They were very attentive to our requirements and gave full information for us to make decisions on our home. They continued to progress the construction with very few interruptions to the building process. We are very happy with the overall result and with the time that it took to complete the construction.

New South Homes were brilliant from start to finish. They really put my wife and I first every step of the build journey and made what is normally a very stressful experience so much better with little to no hiccups along the way. I highly recommend New South Homes for any new home construction.
