Great experience working with New Home Certification Group. Amanda Dragosevic was a pleasure to deal with the whole way through our CDC approval.

They are unreasonable, extremely strict and hard to deal with. They refused to issue us the OC just on minor landscaping details, which are all exempt developments. Now they are forcing us to go back to Council to get re-approval. Basically starting the process over again and incurring more costs over very minor items. Do not use them. Save yourself the stress and more financial burden.

As a builder, we have had experience working with multiple private certifiers, and have found our experience working with Craig Tibbey at NHCG worlds beyond other service providers. In our industry, getting prompt, clear and dependable feedback is critical for keeping our projects moving and maintaining the highest quality. When we engage Craig for a new build, we need his input at regular intervals. He is extremely responsive when we need site inspections, quick to turn around responses regarding technical aspects of the job and gives clear, detailed feedback that we can action to ensure the best outcome.

Had an overall great customer experience with NHCG especially by Amanda and Nadene.

The team was always happy to help and explained all the requirements and processes involved and delivered on expected timeframes as promised.

This company was the certifier for my house constructed in 2018. In December 2018, when the certifier came over for the Occupation Certificate inspection, they rightly failed the inspection as one of the requirements was not met for the Interim certificate. However, while they had an obligation to supply me, the owner who had appointed them, with the report, they only provided it to the builder. I can only assume the builder was embarassed by the failed inspection and as a result the builder did not supply me with the certifier's report and gave me a very different version of what I had to do in 2 separate emails where he conveyed information to me as being certifier and council requirements.

The work I had to actually do for the Interim Certificate was very easy (barely one or two days work) but the builder never informed me of the issue the certifier had raised and instead informed me that I had to do something else that was a council requirement which took me 10 months just to get the approval.

Had the certifier provided me with the report, something that even the State minister for better regulation has confirmed was their responsibility, the builder could not have deceived me and I could have easily addressed the actual issue raised by the certifier and moved into the house barely few days after the failed inspection rather than the 10 months it actually took me to move in.

I would like to clarify that the certifier was in no way responsible for the deceptive actions of the builder and the only issue I have with them is them not supplying me with the failed report. In fact, during all my communications with the certifier (unfortunately those took place about 8 months after the failed inspection), they honestly answered all the queries I had and they did also eventually supply me with the report, but only 10 months after it was generated!

Terrible service. Their communication was terrible. They charge a lot of money before doing any work. I would avoid them.

Building a house and moving in is quite daunting but when you deal with people as lovely and informative as Louie from New Home Certification group it all seems so much easier! Louie came through the property explaining what he was looking for and why, explained what will be expected and how to go about it and all with such a lovely nature! He even told me I'd done a good job with the flecking in our epoxy floor Thank you so much Louie for all your info today, it was really appreciated! And thank you New Home group for getting a certifier out so quickly and replying so promptly to all my queries.

The certifier approved a fictitous plan by the builder.

The first certifier told us to put a plastic shield over our ledge and "rip it off once you have certification".

When I escalated this to the Director, Luke - he became aggressive and is making certification impossible.

Luke is now trying to extort more money from us to get certification after we have done everything they told us to do (bar the illegal plastic shield, we ended up using a 1.9metre fence to play it extra safe).

I have reported these unprofesional "public officials" to the board. I really look forward for these guys being reviewed by the board - how dare you put my children's life at risk.

Horrible company, Didn't want to talk on the phone. Made everything harder then it needed to be. When directing me to email they couldn't even stay on the phone long enough to confirm the email before hanging up.

Had to get our final OC after completing landscaping 7 years after IOC. These guys made everything easy and were happy to help however possible. Kate in the office is super knowledgeable and easy to work with. Thanks guys:)

Applied for a house demolition certificate. The process was clearly explained to me and they were responsive and prompt with all communication. Will definitely recommend them.

I had a difficult site to built. I found them very upfront and efficient service. Mr luke young, Miss Shikha Uprety and all team members direct you right way and provide first class service. Yes they will tell you if anything is not up to Australian standard. My house was looked after in every stage and every detected fault corrected. I support this great Aussie businesses. If you ask will I hire them again Answer is yes.

My builder hired this company for us and it's a nightmare for us.unprofessional, bad attitudes, won't ever give you OC as they are even strict than council.if you want your certificate, no way with new home certification Concord.

Our builder recommended this certifier for our balcony. Extremely dissatisfied. Took six weeks to review our project and provide feedback. They told us we needed to make changes that would cost us tens of thousands of dollars, without providing anything in writing or detailing how we were in breach of building code, despite multiple follow ups. We ended up seeking certification from our local council and received approval within two weeks, a wildly different outcome to what we had experienced with New Home Certification. They caused us a lot of stress and wasted our time. Would avoid at all costs.

Complete rort - steer clear of this company - stand over tactics, extortion, holding clients to ransom. DO NOT ENGAGE
