New Govardhana Temple (ISKCON) reviews
12My recent visit to Sri Govardhana Iskcon temple left me immersed in the divine experience. The unique location of this temple in the hills is captivating, making it a must-visit for all Krishna Bhakthas.
When I come back from the temple only my body comes still my mind and my soul in the Temple
Best Prasad and most beautiful temple thankyou to all for allowing me to get familiar with Krishna. These guys here are some of the most beautiful ppl I have ever met. Hari Bol.
A Temple spreading the ideas of Krishnaism among devotees, this is absolutely marvelous to be there. Chanting Hare Krishna mantra with all presents gives you feeling of oneness.
Excellent quality of daily prasadam is served here. This place makes me relaxed, energetic, full of positivity.forget all the worries when I am going there. Immaculatly clean and wonderful spiritual atmosphere
Had a fantastic experience when we visited this place last time (you can book one of the cottages available to spend the night there), looking forward to a visit sometime in near future too.
Being Vaishnav, staying in a foreign country, being not able to access temples on a regular basis, this temple poured me in with tears & memories ️! Absolutely divine feels with THE LORD Krishn! Radhe Krishn! Also the people preparing prasada & performing Aarti are so kind.
Beautiful and calm place for prayer and meditation. I love to go there with my family. The food is healthy, hygienic, and delicious too.
Great people. Beautiful temple. Nice community environment. Worth checking out in the day and on Sundays.
Beautiful peaceful temple set in lush surrounds. Great for the market which has food grown on the premises
What a wonderful, spiritual sanctuary.
Great place to stay for a longer period or just a day trip. Escape and wind down from daily hectic life.
You can meet the most amazing souls there and have great conversations and also enjoy the free Sunday feasts.
They offer excellent yoga courses and other activities.
I will always be coming back and the positivity will linger with you even long time after you have left. Hare Krishna
This is one of my most favorite places in Australia. I look forward to visiting this place during Easter Holidays when a special event called " Sacred Sound Retreat" takes place. This is a beautiful farming community spread over 2000 acres of land. The farm has a temple of Krishna, a Guest House that has about 10 rooms with each room having 4-6 beds in a dormitory style, common bathrooms, laundry, shared reading, meditation space with books to read, a Kitchen with Stove, Fridge, Filtered water etc. Apart from this, there are about 10 individual Cabins which are self contained with basic facilities like bathroom, Fridge, Kettle, Bread Toaster, Study Table, Lamp etc. The also houses Goshala which takes care of Cows, Banana, Mango trees etc. The morning views are enchanting with misty clouds floating over the near by mountains, a water pond, a perennial river flowing through the farm. And, last but not the least is the delicious food that is served free three times a day for Guests staying over in the rooms or the Cabins. A must visit place that is spiritually enriching, close to nature, help rejuvenate your Mind, body and Soul. This place is about 12 kms from the Town of Murwillumbah or a 40 mins drive from Gold Coast Airport.
Beautiful location and spiritual peacful environment around temple. There is a small one way bridge to enter premises. Very helpful staff. Various accommodation available for the family, please visit website or contact by phone in advance. Temple is surrounded by hills. Surface is NOT smooth for wheel chair, prefer to visit on sunny days. We went there in western dress but locals were in traditional Indian cloths, which was highly appropriate and surprising.
